This has been the WORST experience I've had in a long time with customer service. I came to this store the other day which normally I spend good money here because I enjoy thrifting. They charged me twice for a fan I bought, which I called spoke to Julio the assistant manager and he told me to come back. I have a baby and toddler and don't live in the area so no I was not going back that same day. Agreed to come back within the next 2 days which I did. I did not bring the receipt because I ran out of my house to an appointment, they made a huge big deal about it. First off it was their mistake for adding another item AND didn't give me discounts on 2 of the items that should have. Still I received no apology and got nasty glares from the other employees not once that I've came into this store have the employees been friendly and go out of their way to just smile. What really got me was when Elda the manager pulled up the camera footage trying to claim I never bought 2 fans. Was I mad at this point yes of course!!! Did I tell her to go back in footage duh!! Why would I come back to a store for all this trouble if I supposedly didn't purchase any fans?? What blows my mind is if I was lying how would I know EXACT time and EXACT price of my receipt that she printed out on her end?? Mam I don't need your $11 dollar STORE CREDIT, not even my cash back. What a joke. I even told her to not worry about it because she was so hung up on me not having the damn receipt. How much more proof do you need for YOUR mistake. Wouldn't even call the store manager because it was his day off. If she did it would've cleared all of this up. Poor management, and poor customer service. Maybe next time take ownership for your employees mistake and APOLOGIZE to the customer. Waste of time, gas, and money. Whoever owns this store needs to really reconsider better employees or retrain on how to handle situations. Trust me people aren't trying to scam you for $11 with all that hassle you guys put me through. HERES YOUR RECEIPT.

I donate here more often than purchase yet I have found some really great deals here.

I've been coming to Flipside since they opened a few years ago. They offer a wide selection of items and I find most well priced. Sometimes I see something I'd like yet it is priced higher than I think it is worth- I can return when the 50% sales happen (weekly) and hope to pick product up at 1/2 off. What I mostly come in to shop for is children's clothes to keep at my home when my grandkids visit. I donate items several times a month and it quite easy to do so. The staff do not pilfer through your donations- you merely place your donation in a bin. I appreciate that proceeds from this store go to the United Cerebral Palsy center located next door.

First time here. Lots to look at. Got three pairs of jeans at a wine bottle holder for about $15! Friendly workers. Need at least a half hour to an hour to look around at everything.

Very disappointing that the store would do this and react this way to a family!

See the photo below for poor customer service and complete and total lack of empathy for a family who only wanted their family heirlooms back! I used to shop there once a week but after reading this on next-door, I will no longer be going there and I know a lot of people in Rohnert Park and Petaluma also will be boycotting the store! If only they had done the right thing!

We were in the area and decided to stop by. This place is in a shopping center so there's plenty of food parking. This place is pretty big. The clothes was priced a little high in my opinion. There was Christmas decorations at good prices. We found a dog carrier for a great price $10 and in good condition. A lot of things did not have a price and they won't sell the item to you. They have no bathroom even for paying customers. The service was okay.

Lovely oil painting - INSANE PRICE. This was donated for free.

Staff here are very friendly! The store is maintained really well overall, even with some recent construction. I've found some lovely gems here in the past and I love their mission. Recently, the pricing has gotten very high and it feels like anything remotely nice has a red sticker (no discount) and the price is shocking. So if you want to find vintage gems to keep or resell, it seems like they are catering to a more wealthy crowd. A bit of a bummer.

When I doubled back months after adoption with the female volunteer about PJ's awful demeanor, she commented that he has anger issues towards women and had to cut him off herself months prior. We did not receive any medical records for our cats including any microchip information. We were never told that one of our cats was extremely sick with respiratory issues when Fuzzy Butt Rescue first obtained them (I found this out 1.5 yrs into ownership after issues had already arose). We were never told that male, neutered cats are prone to urinary tract infections or we would have adopted female cats; I am a solo mom with 100% of everything for my child so my plate is full as is. We were never told that a key piece of healthy lifestyle for male, neutered cats in preventing UTIs is room to run around before my 10-yo son and I brought them home to our 700 sq ft condo. When confronted with health issues with our pets, PJ refused to make any effort to help us get them care. He was insulting and called me "cheap" for not being willing to spend thousands of dollars on testing despite that I took our cat to 2 emergency clinic visits after working hours the first of which was around midnight before a big job I had booked for the next day. He said he would take them back vs actually helping us to resolve the issue. Our cat's UTI was resolved with a $10 homeopathic product on Amazon that has over 10K reviews and a 4.4 star rating. He called that product "a hoax" but it worked in ONE day once I had time to stay home with the cat and treat him. PJ insulted me for even thinking of trying the homeopathic product vs agreeing to thousands of dollars of testing as a first resort. This guy is the absolute worst. If you want a pleasant and professional pet adoption process, go somewhere that has built a documented reputation in that vein which provides the necessary medical history on adoption (I wasn't aware there was any or I would have asked!). It's March 2023 and I'm looking at our cat's 9 page vet record now in after we got them in Feb 2021 and am shaking my head. This cat has major health problems. I had 2 cats as a child for almost 20 yrs with none of these issues. My son was crying in his sleep last night with a nightmare about losing our cat. Screw you and your judgment and negligence, PJ.

We wandered in and tried to get a kitten here. After a few days I asked when we could come pick up the cat. Ashley Ascencio and PJ McKovsky responded with rude/angry/mansplaining/outright mean emails, saying we couldn't have the cat because we'd let him go outside. Could do without the cat shaming lecture, it's not an effective way to educate people. Nasty email: "If you're next step is to go buy an animal instead of self reflecting then that speaks highly of you. We feel even more solid in our decision. Please explain to your child you do not value the lives and well being of your animals and I think he'll understand our decision too." Bad experience at this place, Avoid unless you want to deal with mean people. I also agree that they are withholding the medical history of the cats. My husband thought the cat seemed sick. I thought he was just bored and depressed in the cage, but I saw later on the facebook page that this bunch of cats all had extensive medical issues. No one informed me of that at all when we filled out the paperwork on him.
