Food and service are very quick and friendly. The store is clean and has so many great memorable monuments . If you know the city you will feel right at home. Will be back to this lil gem.

Ordered from M Stop Deli last week through their website using Toastlab and the process was easy and smooth. We placed an online order and picked it up about twenty minutes later. Parking was straightforward and we found street parking just around the corner in the neighborhood. We ordered the M Line and the special Octopus sandwich which immediately caught our eye because of the vibrant purple ube bread in the photos. Definitely worth trying. - The Octopus sandwich is priced at 17.99 and is made with Rize Up Bakery ube bread halal turkey melted cheddar and pepper jack avocado lettuce tomato pickle onion jalapeños banana peppers and finished with their signature M Sauce and chipotle sauce. This sandwich was big juicy and very satisfying. The chipotle sauce brought a nice level of heat and the flavors were bold without being overwhelming. The bread held everything together really well and had a great texture. Visually it was beautiful and packed with flavor with a nice spicy punch. - The M Line on dutch crunch was $14.99 and came with slow smoked halal beef tri-tip, m stop garlic spread, in-house spicy BBQ sauce, mayo, m-sauce, Cheddar cheese, lettuces, tomato, jalapeños, banana peppers, pickles, onion Overall a solid spot for a fun and filling sandwich. Would happily order these two one again and try more of their specials in the future.

Parking for The M Stop Halal Deli was found on the side street that is designated as limited time. The shop is spacious with a few tables, and the menu is limited, but does serves Tri Tip, Halal Chicken, Halal Turkey, and Pastrami. I opted to exclude the Chipotle Sauce from my Pastrami Sandwich, and found It generous of meat and highly flavorful. The person working the counter crafting my sandwich was personable and I found it neatly made. overall a good experience, but I do wish that pricing was displayed. My Sandwich with Tax $16+ .

It's been a minute since I've gotten a sando for lunch, and The M Stop just reminded me why I used to frequent them in my college days. One, they were affordable and two, given a good spot, they are the perfect combination of flavor, textures, and hefty enough to keep you full the entire day. The M Stop's concept is fitting for where it's located, right next to the muni. We were on our way to the beach and wanted to pick up some handheld lunch. Found this place on Yelp and although there were two other contenders around the corner, the decor and pictures got me. There's even a little mock ticket box and train seats as the waiting area. The menu is small and you get a choice of bread, but that just means they specialize in what they do. M Line (tri-tip) Very strong BBQ flavor. As soon as you bite into the sandwich, you get a punch of flavor. The tri-tip was tender and saucy. After several bites though, it was too much of the same intense bbq flavor and I needed to switch it up. More veggies would probably balance out this sando. T Line (turkey & pastrami) This was so loaded! Tons of flavor with the various sauces, veggies, and cheese. The pastrami added a salty contrast to the fresh cold taste of turkey. I enjoyed this sandwich more than the M Line. Of course, dutch crunch is a must for choice of bread for that crusty crunch texture. The sandwiches were cleanly packaged and we brought it to the beach without any spillage. They had desserts in the case that I had wished I gotten as well. Perfect lunch on to go!

This is a nice sandwich shop to grab a quick lunch bite near City College. I love pastrami so I decided to get the K-Line sandwich. The sourdough bread I ordered with the sandwich was toasty and soft. I do love the SFMTA metro line seats they have as decoration inside. Makes it feel unique inside.

My third time ordering from The M Stop worked the charm. Had no issues and really enjoyed the first two sandwiches but the 54 really hit the mark. Truly 5/5

Best sandwich I've ever had in my life. Came here before visiting a game since it was right on the M Stop (who would have guessed lol) and it was a humble deli spot with a variety of delicious options. I got the M Stop option and it was so delicious. It's a trek for me to get here from East bay but next time I'm around the area I'm coming back. They are very pricey ($20 for each I believe) but very well worth the occasional splurge.

    Tri Tip M line !!!

Always come and get the M Line sandwich when I'm in San Francisco. It is soooo good, one of the best sandwhiches!!

I love coming to the City and getting sandwiches from a liquor store. I don't think this is a liquor store per say, but it has that feel. It's a nostalgic feeling from my teens, in any case these sandwiches are incredibly delicious. After a long afternoon of walking at Fort Funston with our dog we were in the mood for a yummy sandwich. So glad we stopped by the service was slow due to a one man show, but it was definitely worth the wait. Will definitely come back!

My first time trying their sandwiches and it's not bad because you can choose which meats you want. The menu is very easy to look and choose what you want. I got the J and the M sandwich. (Not sal's way) because I don't like certain ingredients inside. I would try to again in the future. It was a 3/5 for me, a little bit more on the dry side. The owner was very nice, telling us all about the menu.

Clean, well organized space, friendly, attentive service and solid, well balanced sandwiches. Definitely, go with the Dutch crunch bread and you can't go wrong with anything on this menu. They kept it simple and everything is top notch. I called in my large order (tried all sandwiches and multiple J's) since it was a late Friday afternoon. It was a first timer's luck since I found parking directly across the street. My sandwiches were ready and delivered hot. This spot is now on our regular Friday Night family dinner rotation. I can't wait to go back...couldn't get pictures of anyone else's sandwich since everyone inhaled theirs.

I had passed by it countless times on my bike ride to work without giving it a second thought -- until a co-worker suggested we stop in for lunch. That single visit changed everything. What I found was not just convenience, but quality. The menu was packed with deli classics, and the vibe was laid-back and welcoming, full of regulars who clearly knew this was the spot. I went with the Hot Pastrami Sandwich, and I still think about that first bite. Made with Boar's Head Top Round Pastrami -- hand-trimmed, rich, and smoky -- it was layered generously and coated with spices that hit all the right notes. The meat had that perfect deli texture, tender yet hearty.. They clearly take pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite. It wasn't overloaded or sloppy -- just expertly made and full of flavor, the kind of sandwich that makes you slow down and savor it. What makes New College Hill Market even more special is the atmosphere. It's that kind of neighborhood shop where the cashier greets regulars by name, and even if you're new, you feel like you belong. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or discovering it for the first time, it's the kind of place that leaves an impression. For me, it's become a top lunch destination in the city -- unassuming, affordable, and blasting in flavors!

Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this sandwich! But when I took a bite, all I could taste was salt?! I'm not sure if the steak was over seasoned or the Swiss cheese made it salty from being cooked, but I've never had that happen when making a sandwich at home. Since there's no place to eat it at the store, we took it home and tried adding more lettuce and avocado to offset the saltiness, but even that didn't help. By the end of the day, I couldn't get my ring off my finger! It was swollen from the amount of salt in the sandwich because that's the only thing I ate. I drank lots of water, but I became bloated. Next time, I'll nix the cheese and order another kind of sandwich and hopefully have a better experience. 3/5 ROAST BEEF & PASTRAMI W/PROVOLONE CHEESE ON DUTCH CRUNCH ~ this was better than the steak sandwich. My guy had this one. It was salty, but it didn't overpower my tastebuds or the sandwich. I only took a bite to try. 4/5 While jalapeño peppers and pepperoncini are sour, spicy and salty, the meat shouldn't be overwhelmingly salty too then the whole sandwich wouldn't be pleasant to eat. There needs to be something bland to balance it. Now in this steak sandwich, I didn't even add jalapeños or pepperoncini. I only had pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes. Yet the salt cut through it all and hit me. I believe someone got overzealous with the salt shaker not realizing it was too much. Of course, the customer finds out after taking a bite! Though I think there should be some quality control in making sure it's done right. Maybe taste testing should be a thing. We may come around again and give them another shot. We really enjoyed it the first time and we were hoping for a repeat, but disappointingly, it didn't go as planned.
