    Hot Nashville Sandwich
    Khalid F.

I've been to the Bridgeview location of Holy Buckets and was fortunate to try out the new Lombard location recently. I thought I was going at an off-time (4:30 pm), but it was packed. We were lucky to get a table. There's plenty of parking outside, but inside is somewhat small. The menu has a decent selection of chicken sandwiches and bowls. They even have a beef burger. We ordered a Holy Bowl, a Hot Nashville sandwich (medium), and a banana pudding. The Holy Bowl was very tasty, but health-conscious folks beware. It had sliced pieces of fried chicken, french fries, mac & cheese, and sauce. The Nashville sandwich was very good, but I like Chi-Tea's sandwich better. My wife thought this sandwich was spicy, but I thought it was perfectly fine. The banana pudding is made by a third party called The Cake Factory, but it was pretty tasty. Happy to have another halal option in this area. Chi-Tea and Seoul Bites are in the same plaza, and Hello Shawarma is supposed to be opening a Lombard location right here as well.

Food was good and the staff is super nice :) I got the 3 piece chicken meal w/ the biscuit, fries, and coleslaw. I will say even the spicy chicken is not spicy AT ALL but it is crispy and juicy!

Cheese pizza with sausage, green peppers, and onions

Nice place to get a pizza if you're looking for sausage and pepperoni that's Halal. I ordered a sausage and green peppers and onion Pizza. They only have one size and I also showed the receipt for it. I never knew it existed, maybe some better advertisement might help. Overall, I can't speak for the chicken, but I can for the pizza, it was good to better, it did need some salt for me, and it was only one size fits all I believe. I left a picture of the Pizza and the receipt you can make your comparison if you think it was a good value or not. I do wish they placed more items on the Pizza. The sitting area was nice, clean overall and the attendance behind the counter were giving good service and were polite. They could be more helpful in discussing the menu with customers since if you are a first time you may need assistance. And I wish they spent more time behind the counter than once they take your order, they go back behind the wall into the kitchen. I think this would give them an impression that they are busier and do care about increasing service for customers. Overall, I like the place and I would've definitely given higher stars if there were more items on the Pizza and they spent more time in front of the counter.

Horrible customer service, unorganized, and most of the time they don't have pizza dough! Plus, they don't answer calls!

I always enjoy supporting local restaurants, and this Asian fusion restaurant did not disappoint…read more Convenient parking lot next to the restaurant. Our server, Maddie was so fun, energetic, helpful, and very accommodating. It was a nice touch that the manager came to check on us and offered a taste test of their stouts; Eunoia Batch 21 and What Could Be 35. So good!! Phase Three Brewery Company in Elmhurst, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates unique, well-crafted beers. Their house brews paired perfectly with the food and are worth the visit on their own. I had the Day Drift, Blood Orange, Calamansi, so refreshing!! I should have ordered the 16 ounces!! The Shanghai Lumpia was delicious, crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. The Duck Corn Dogs were another standout, perfectly cooked, tender and moist. The banana ketchup added a layer of flavor. I originally came for the adobo, but unfortunately they had already sold out. Instead, I ordered the Double Dip Korean Style Fried Chicken Sandwich, and I'm glad I did! The chicken breast was incredibly tender, juicy, and savory--absolutely delicious. To finish, I had the Ube Cheesecake. Rich, creamy, and wonderfully decadent without being overwhelming. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back for that adobo I missed and, of course, to enjoy a few more of those amazing craft beers.

We have been to Phase 3 : Elmhurst several times and we love it!…read more The first time we visited, it was just for beers. The beers were excellent, and the food looked and smelled so good that we vowed to come back! We've been back twice now and loved it each time! You can't go wrong with their beers! Their flagships are solid and they always have a healthy number of experimental brews. Best of all the worlds! This time we both got IPAS and loved them all: Trail Trip, West Coast Pixel, and Swells! Trail Trip was my favorite because I prefer non-hazy. For dinner I got the double-dipped fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. YUM! Bursting with flavor and deliciousness! The spicy gochujang sauce is divine! And super filling! My husband did the OG Burger, Fries, and 10 oz beer for $15 Monday/Tuesday deal. He loved the food, drink, and the deal! The space is so clean, open, and inviting. The front dinning area is spacious enough with plenty of seating and the bar, but there is also a fantastic outdoor space. The servers will all friendly, helpful, and professional. Things can move a little slowly, but it is worth the wait! On busy weekend nights, they do have online reservations, so that can be a good way to secure a spot! Next time we are in Elmhurst, we will definitely be back. We love Phase 3!

This neighborhood saloon & eatery has been a longtime favorite of mine, and it's easy to see why…read moreit's always packed--especially on Fridays. It's my go‑to spot for a classic Fish Fry, and after years of coming here, it still never disappoints. We arrived a little after 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and, as expected, only waited about five minutes. The moment you step inside, you're met with a lively bar scene--TVs tuned to various games, tall tables lining both sides, and a steady buzz of conversation. People are eating, drinking, and genuinely enjoying themselves. What surprised me most was how many families were there, even with infants and toddlers in tow. And honestly, it was great to see. The kids were calm, the parents looked relaxed, and the whole place had this easygoing, everyone's‑welcome energy. We sat in the back, and the table was cleaned quickly. Our server Heather brought menus, though we already knew exactly what we wanted. The menu has a big selection, but for us it was three orders of the Fish Fry. You can substitute sides--sweet potato fries, tots, or onion rings--and the meal comes with hush puppies and coleslaw. Drinks and water arrived promptly, and the entrées followed soon after, piping hot. The fried fish was flaky and flavorful--nothing like the heavy, all‑batter, no‑fish situation you get at some places. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. We asked for refills and they arrived almost instantly. I'm already looking forward to coming back once the weather warms up so we can enjoy the patio. This place continues to be a reliable, welcoming spot with great food and an even better atmosphere.
