Well, no pic because it ate it too fast. Yum! Enjoyed the fries and chicken Sammie while they were at the Lone Oak Brewery!

Came here after picking up my kid from school (they've been coming there during meal breaks). I've…read morebeen wanting to try it for the longest time, so I got take-out for my spouse and I. We got the fingers (medium), the waffle fries, the mac and cheese, and for myself, the chicken sando (hot, without the pickles and slaw, which is probably sacrilegious to some. Good, quick service, the place was a couple of steps above a normal fast food place (very clean compared to other places; music was a titch loud but not obnoxiously so), and the touch screen order system easy to use. And now to the food. First off, the spice levels are no joke. My spouse got through a finger and a half on medium before quitting, though they found it more manageable the more they ate. The hot is HOT, it definitely grabbed my attention. But it wasn't overpowering and didn't detract from the flavor of the chicken. And that chicken is GOOD. Flavorful, juicy, good crisp. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had, hands down. The waffle fries were good (slightly soggy); dipped in hangry sauce they were very good. Really liked the mac and cheese; cheesy, good texture (better than other places mac and cheese). Wasn't a huge fan of the Texas toast but I had eaten quite a bit by that point. The spouse really liked the pickles that came with the fingers. We will be back again (though dropping down the spice level).

Mild and medium dry rub wings were amazingly fresh and crispy, packed with flavor. We got the…read morestrawberry matcha which just looked and tasted like milk. Otherwise, great spot for a late night bite.

I came for the fried chicken but fell in love with the BBQ!!! Actually it was all delivered but you…read moreknow what I mean. I'll get the only fail out of the way. The Chicken tenders weren't tender and the coating was over-salted. The full rack of BBQ Pork ribs was a winner, tender and meaty with great flavor. The Slow-smoked Chicken is delicious and a nice, moist change from the usual chicken treatments. The Smoked Chicken Wings were great too. I wouldn't get the Texas Beef Brisket or the Carolina Pulled Pork again, but they weren't bad, just lots of other choices that were better! The sides here are stand-outs too. I almost didn't get the vegetarian Collard Greens since I love collards cooked with meat but these were delicious -- they never made it to the microwave, they were so vinegary-good when I sampled them cold lol! The Mac & Cheese was good and cheesy. The baked beans were good but again vegetarian where I'd prefer meat included and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. The Skillet Cornbread is the best I've had, slightly sweet with a good corn flavor that made me decide to buy a WHOLE skillet rather than just the generously portioned slice next time, especially since it's such a good value. I do regret not trying the coleslaw and potato salad so again, next time. The little rolls are tasty too, moist and slightly sweet but it's a pity they aren't burger-size so you can make a sandwich with all that delicious meat and sides.

I craved some good country BBQ, and a friend recommended Fryer's. I ordered. It was the wrong move…read more The wings tasted burnt and that mac 'n cheese was not cheesin'. The brisket was tough and not flavorful. I really wanted to love this place, but in the end, it wasn't worth it. Still on the quest.
