0 stars! We checked everything, called-showed up at 3 to feed 8 children and 4 adults. As soon as we walked in at 3:00 pm a very cranky woman told us she was closed. I asked if they closed at 3 or 4 and she said 4, but today she decided to close at 3 for absolutely no reason. Worthless business. And during these trying times. 12 customers during business hours, and other people eating too. Maybe someone should buy this from these worthless owners. Online it says their business hours are until 4 pm, and she acknowledged this. Food was probably crap too anyway.i would say call before you go, but who knows if they will answer their phones. Three stars is a generous rating... Fun place at Indian point. People are nice... food is ok...location is perfect. I recently visited with two babies. I overheard a conversation the owner was having with employees and she said they were "family friendly." With a toddler and an infant, I would say otherwise. The high chairs need work, the dock is not enclosed in a manner that would make a parent feel like their toddler is safe just walking to the door, and there is no changing table in the bathroom. It was suggested to me that I use the floor with a blanket. It was mentioned that because it is a handicap bathroom it CANNOT have a changing table (FYI...McDonald's installs their folding changing tables in the handicap stalls so I know this is false). If this were TRULY a family friendly place, this rating would be higher. read more

Great experience! The service was friendly, clean facilities, and great food! We got a grilled chicken sandwich, burger, chicken strips, and a catfish basket. The catfish was some of the best I've had! Burger was also juicy and good! Definitely coming back. read more

I was very surprised and I'm not easy to please. Ordered a ruben with tater tots. It was 1 of the best Rubens I have ever had. Family ordered a steak wrap, chicken wrap, pilly cheesesteak and a bacon cheeseburger. The steak and hamburger were really steak and hamburger, not the processed stuff I expected. Waiting an hour and a half for eggs and bacon. Waitress kept apologizing for the wait but restaurant had emptied out and we still were waiting for food. Once we got the food the other takes around us helped us get salt and pepper. Had to ask for silverware. Breakfast burrito was good. Way too long to wait. read more

Ate at the Floating Cafe before our boat reservation time at Indian Point Marina. We arrived a little before 11 AM and at 11 is when they change from breakfast to lunch. I ordered an omelet and it was good (the bacon a little crisper than I prefer). The rest of our party wanted lunch items and I was served probably 20 before they were because the cook cannot do both breakfast and lunch items at the same time..... On fact, they would not even take the lunch orders until all breakfast orders had been prepared and served. Everyone order the fish sandwich and it was good. The homemade potato chips were a special treat. The Floating Cafe is a very acceptable place to eat while hanging around the marina. Waitress was very courteous! read more

We were staying at a near by resort and someone recommended this place. They must be getting paid to say that because I can't think of a single reason to recommend this place. Our waitress could care less. We asked for some crackers for our 2 year old, she brought us one cracker.... Half the stuff on the menu they didn't have so I had the bacon cheeseburger. Bacon was a wet noodle, not crisp at all and same goes for their fries just soggy. No saw the cook eating while preparing food and he had some food on his lip while cooking. The upstairs are promised a nice view but of course it was closed. I would find someplace else to eat, the fly problem inside was horrible. I gave it two stars instead of one because when my kid was throwing a for a different waitress have us fish food for the dock which he loves. read more

If you don't mind waiting an hour to get your food then this is the place for you. Eververy time we come here no matter if it's busy or not you have to wait at least one hour. It is so unorganized. It is not unusual to see five or six tables that haven't gotten their food. read more

We ate a late lunch early dinner here the service was fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly and quick to refill our drinks, without having to ask for a refill, my glass was still about three quarters full. Our food was delicious. I got the chicken quesadilla and my husband got the hot dog, with chili and cheese (chili cheese dog). My daughter order from the children's menu, she ordered chicken fingers. The chicken was moist and a larger size (reminded you of the size of a fillet) then expected for "fingers". She got 3 pieces and ate 2.5 of the pieces and said these are delicious, which is not usual...she barely eats one. This being said we will be back, our whole family of four loved this place! I took pictures of mine and my husband's plate. I didn't get a picture of my son's and daughter's plate, I didn't have a chance as they we devouring their meal. read more

This is an update to my previous review. We now have tried this restaurant for breakfast and were very pleased. I had one of the best breakfast burritos. Very full of eggs, meat & cheese. They were busy but service and wait staff were still very good. I would recommend this place. read more

What should have been a quick lunch turned into an almost hour long endeavor. We sat down, ordered drinks then our food. The food took almost 35 minutes to come out. Most of the food was wrong and cold. Waitress never refilled our drinks, and then she never very back to our table. Asked another waitress for silverware and she just laughed and then brought only one set. Never received any mustard, mayo, or ketchup for our sandwiches. Two meals came out completely wrong. I do not have an opinion on the food, because my family and I waited twenty minutes to be served without even a glance from the staff. A family walked in right after us and they were served immediately, while we were (at first) patiently waiting. After a long time of waving our arms in the air to get attention, we decided to just leave, and only then did we get any attention, in the form of a staff member look at us like we weren't leaving for a reason. Had high expectations of this place for breakfast but sadly they failed to materialize. Our server wasn't a server at all. I am always amazed that people who work for tips don't make the connection between money and performance. She took our orders and we didn't see her or hear from her again until she brought the food out . Two people had eggs and she had trouble telling the difference between "scrambled" and "over easy". She commented that she "didn't do eggs."Then she tells us that they are out of gravy (I ordered a biscuit and gravy). I told her to save time just bring me a dish of ice cream. Everyone in my party had finished and I was eating their leftovers when the ice cream arrived. Guess who was charged for the gravy? The hash browns were basically half boiled potatoes that had been thrown on a grill to brown slightly.the bacon was soft and fatty. The food arrived warm and the sausage was good, but I don't see myself coming back here even though it's the closest restaurant to our condo that we visit yearly. read more

As first timers to Branson we searched for quality dining experiences. In a town of over priced deep fried everything this was a refreshing find after spending a day on the lake. Our party of 6 (including 2 toddlers) left satisfied and full! The food was fresh and delicious. Their menu is as diverse as the appetites in our party - country fried steak, shrmip scampi and grilled chicken wraps - and all were perfectly prepared. The homemade peanut butter cookie ice cream sandwiches were an amazing way to complete our meal. Our next visit to Branson will include a stop at Indian Point Floating Cafe at least once (but probably more than that)! It was great. read more

Best homemade chips on the lake. Burgers are pretty good too. Wish they had the dinner options available at lunch. Be prepared to wait, this is not a quick stop and eat place, but that's okay at the lake. You can keep yourself entertained while waiting for your food by feeding the geese, ducks, giant fish, and turtles that stay near this place. read more

Just boat right up to the door, there are slips in which to park. I've never eaten breakfast here, but lunch and dinner are great. I love the club sandwich for lunch and the fish and chips for dinner. Their homemade chips are really good, no need to pay extra for french fries. Sometimes they have live music on Saturday night. read more
