WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. TERRIBLE BUISNESS MODEL. Called for a tech to come out to service a grinder pump for my house, after trouble shooting by myself i found out the float/ pressure switch was faulty was bad so i called them to let them know in advance about it. tech came out didn't know much about the pump model but confirmed my issue and quoted a rebuild for $450 with some additional small charges but nothing big helped him pull it and loaded it into his truck. Next day i get a quote for a new pump with no notes on it except new pump needed and alarm system install totaling a little over $11,500. so while they actively held my pump at their shop they tried to upcharge with no explanation to it and thought i would just sign off. told them to cancel the work return my pump and refund me the money I paid them to do the rebuild. Their finance guy decided to deny my request for a refund because they did some trouble shooting at the shop which is B.S. since when i got my pump back the next day it was essentially untouched so all they did to decide i needed a new pump was look at the pump see its a older model and try to sell me a new one. At the time of post, they still haven't tried to contact or return my calls. Save your money and go with a different company. this is an amateur business with people trying to swindle its customers. read more

Sand filter pump alarm indicating over full. Thinking it was a faulty float called Flowhawks. First tech visit ended with a power pigtail and my extension cord from nearby deck outlet. He said call in for electrician. Electrician onsite for an hour then asked to check our fuse panel. Oops, just the breaker flipped. 2 visits totaled over $700 for a tripped breaker. Never, ever will I call Flowhawks again, RIP-OFF. read more

Flohawks service was horrible. One technician came out on Dec 19th and broke my toilet and didn't finish the job. He said he would come out with some parts and within a few days. Then I didn't hear for several days and called. I was told there was communication breakdown and it will be taken care of. Today is Jan 1st and nothing was done. My tenants said the technician needed approval for small parts from me. But this new person named Kenny called and said there is so much to do and it will be expensive. I asked the supervisor call me yesterday but I still didn't hear until this evening. A horrible company and the reviews are misleading. Be aware!!! read more

Tried to get a quote on a water line that was leaking. Got the runaround (calls not returned when i was "promised" they would be - was talking with three different folks and none of them seemed to know what the others were doing.) for about 2 weeks and decided to go with another company. The other company i went with immediately returned my calls and were working on site the next day. My recommendation to FloHawks; call people back when you promise them you will. Our septic system was supposed to be pumped between 12 and 5 PM yesterday. I called at 4:45PM asking if a someone was coming. The gentleman arrived after 5 PM only to tell me that he couldn't do the job because he didn't realize digging was involved and he was almost off the clock. They rescheduled me for today, again, 2:30 PM in the afternoon and no one has showed up yet. I called they said it will be another hour and a half. I should've gone with another company. i do not appreciate them not being respectful of my time. read more

My septic air alarm need a simple fix. The plastic tube needed to be replaced. When I called I explained in detail what part was needed and asked them to make sure it was in the truck. That didn't happen, tech didn't have parts and had to go to pick them up from supplier on my time. He installed a very unprofrssional job and the tube did fit. You could hear air leaking at the connector on alarm fitting. I asked about it and he said it was fine the alarm would not trigger again. So the alarm started chirping every night a 2 a.m. when the throw back process was running. So that was $341.00 for nothing. I wasn't about to call these people back to just charge me more money so they could practice at my house. I called A-Bell Septic and Excavating and they found multiple issues with everything that FloHawks had touched. A-Bell Septic redid the entire air alarm lines to the alarm box and finally no problem last night. I'll never use or refer FloHawks to anyone. I wish I had checked their complaints before I called them, but they installed the system for the builder so I figured they might be able to work on it. Very shoddy work, and un qualified technicians. I'll stick with A-Bell for all future septic maintenance and repairs. read more

Do not use Flohawk. They make the wrong repair then give you a partial credit (less than 25% of the cost) then document an even lesser amount in the system then want you to schedule the correct repair before they will discuss the credit. Oh and by the way, apparently not reading notes and not documenting the account proves you are not telling truth. Example, I say I need septic pumped she says my notes say it was done Saturday. I explain we cancelled due to their error in repair. She says but it is done why do you need it pumped. Do you think I would know if the septic was pumped or not??? Customer service much??? Details: We asked them to unblock main line. Then cancelled it due to another opinion. Later that day called to replace baffle and drain septic. They showed up and charged us to unblock main line (we were out of town, friend housesitting). When asked about draining the septic, they showed up the next day but we had to cancel when they showed up as we found out they did the wrong repair. Called today to follow-up since we are back from vacation and was argued with told we we wrong and finally got $60 credit of $247. Called to schedule $650 repair and was told the credit was $50 but since we were just out why did we need it scheduled? By the way did I mention, I was told we asked for the main line when we called the second time which is a bald face lie. What do you expect from a company that pumped the imaginary septic as well. read more

I call Flohawks for Bid / quote, the give quote for $2074.13, they ask me for 1/2 first, and they took $1000.00 and the 2nd time took $1088.38 fist the charge me more and on top that send balance of $44.00, why i should even bother call for bid, is not about the money so about $59.00 more, wasn't lot but, all that money just to came dig my front yard maybe 2hrs, I got 3 bids for my septic, and I choose they over other companies, I disappointed with them. now is sinking and don't fix anything I doing wrong business. well for sure not going to call them again. I want to thank FloHawks for addressing all my concerns and fixing my 88 yr old mother's clogged drain line when it turned out that the problem was a lot bigger than just a clog. They made a second appointment to come out and though my mother couldn't remember all the details, it sounded to me like the men scoped the line and discovered that tree roots had penetrated the line seeking water. They cleared the lines from all the bathrooms and this time she got the receipt and has a printed copy. Unfortunately, the receipt does't show the names of the two technicians who responded or I'd mention them by name for kudos. But she did say that they went above and beyond to ensure that she was well served and didn't charge additional for the second visit. Thank you! read more

We were selling our home with a septic system, and the county we live in (Pierce, WA) requires an RSS be filed with them prior to the home closing. We were told it takes the county 10 days to approve. The county completed it within 10 days, but FloHawks kept telling us for 12 days AFTER THAT that it wasn't complete, causing our home sale to go into chaos because of their inability to simply open our file in their computer and see whether the completed document arrived or not. I called 3 times to check during those 12 days, and was told all 3 times that it hadn't been approved by the county yet. So, the day before closing, I called again, and the office worker told me it had been completed 12 days ago. She then went into hostile/defensive mode when I questioned her about the situation, and how I've been misled for 12 critical days. She got rude when I asked her to please email me a copy. She said she can't get a copy to me for a couple days. Why? Because she can't find a scanner. Yeah, can't find a scanner. A multi-million dollar company that deals with faxing and scanning all day - can't find a scanner, and was rude about it, telling me she'd work on it, but no guarantees. I asked for her supervisor, and she said she's in a meeting all day. Basically, was telling me to piss off. This is the first - and last time - I will EVER use FloHawks. The pumpers did a good job though, so thank you to the field worker. read more

I am nonplussed by the helpfulness... The service technician pumped out the tank reasonably well... It cost $399 to pump my tank and $22 for a county report --plus tax the bill was $458.11. The tech noted "mainline blocked about 2' from inlet baffel". --all he did was shove a garden hose up the inlet pipe and it wouldn't go any further (It bends at 2 feet to go into the building). This report will be submitted to the county. When I called to have the report amended that the system has no blockage I was treated cooly and condescendingly by the telephone operator. He has to report "what he sees!" My problem is that the LINE WAS NOT BLOCKED!!! Why would I leave my tenants with a sewer line that was blocked?! I payed for a pump and got screwed with a negative report. read more

It's not a glamorous business, but when you need them, you need them. I didn't know who to choose. Checked out a couple. Finally a friend who does property management recommended FloHawks. I was very pleased. It wasn't an emergency, but they were out within a couple of days. I think that's pretty prompt. The technician was friendly, super helpful and didn't mind answering all my questions. The price was very reasonable. There were no complications. They were nice. I don't require a whole lot more. WATCH for line items no quoted on your invoice! We were selling our house & asked FloHawks to pump the septic. Was quoted the following: $499 flat fee to pump, $265 for Pierce Cty RSS filing fee, $52 Pierce Cty O&M Inspection fee, $50 handling fee, Plus tax. I specifically asked if we had to pay for anything else. I was told no, nothing else. That's not true! They sneaked in an item on the invoice called "Consumables" for $12.50 Consumables? Something yummy? On cleaning our septic tank? I wonder.... I emailed the company to ask. I was told it was for things like "gloves, nuts, screws and rags". What? My husband was present throughout the whole process. We won't say if the technician used rags to clean his hands or not but sneaking an extra item like that just isn't right! I asked what was special about that day that he needed to use "gloves, nuts, screws and rags" that he didn't need to regularly. I was told that fee is charged on every service, regardless whether he used any of that or not. What??? For those of you who have used FloHawks, were you ever charged for "Consumables"? Did you know that? Because I was not quoted the "Consumables" when I scheduled I asked for a refund. The Customer Service Rep, Erik Stringer-Lund agreed to request it. That was Aug 20 2018. Hello? Horrible customer service, this is my 3rd attempt with this company to fix the same problem. The workers who's show up are kind and courteous albeit just not quite experienced enough to diagnose and fix the problem at hand. The first plumber came and spent all of two minutes and pronounced it to be a problem with the sprinkler system, which they don't cover. So I had to call the fire/sprinkler specialist. They came out and quickly diagnosed that is was not a fire sprinkler issue but was INDEED a plumbing issue by turning off the water to the sprinkler system. The vibrating/humming noise did not stop. They then turned off the water to the indoor plumbing which effectively silenced the vibrating/humming noise we have been experiencing. I'm not sure why flohawks was unable to perform this simple test. So then I had to call flohawks again. The second technician who came out decided it was the temperature regulator valve. He changed it, but the noise did not go away. He said it would in time, it's been 2days and it hasn't, so now I'm currently waiting for the third technician from flohawks to show up and we will see how this goes. What has really prompted me to write this review as I wait for the technician however is flohawks extreme lack of customer service. They just send out plumbers without checking your schedule, tell you there on the way, but apparently can give you absolutely no general time estimate. 30 minutes or 5 days!? No one knows. Long story short maybe get some more experienced technicians and definitely hire a new customer service staff read more

Pump truck operator to be second man during confined space entry tank repair. We scheduled it, they were going to come on Friday then changed to Saturday then cancelled and said they can not fix it. After discussing it with them and arguing how can you give an estimate and then say you can not do it. He accepted it was his mistake like I told him the hole did not changed and your company was there to see it in person when they pumped it. They gave me much of nonsense including that I need a new tank and gave me an estimate for a new one. I put this question out to him: "If I would have made a mistake about not having the money to pay you guys after you did the work I would be sent to collection, small claims, lien on my house what are the consequence for your mistake? You guys should honor it and if you take a loss then that is the way it goes this time for your company". They did NOT honor their estimate to fix it and I had to look for another company lost 4 days with this since they did not do anything during the weekend. Also, was stressed all weekend over having to put a new tank. After talking to other companies it is fixable and we are having it fix today. I know Flo Hawks just wanted to put a new septic tank for 6K and/or were not going to make a lot of profit by fixing it. If you check the BBB they are rated a C+ AWFUL COMPANY! read more

Dont use this company. They have excessive prices and look for problems so they can charge you for using a garden hose to solve the issue. Was charged $1500.00 to fix drain field. labor day weekend our septic alarm went off, we called flawhawks they sent out their guy, and after he took a look, we were informed that 2 of the tanks were completely full, and needed to be pumped, i knew that we had our septic pumped less than 2 years ago so i was surprised that he said they were full, he wanted to run a scope and said that the people who installed the septic did not install the control box properly, he quoted us over $1500.00 to send someone out that day, we ended up calling a different septic company a day later, they came out and to our surprise the guy opened the tanks and they were almost empty !!!!!!! the only thing that was wrong was the filter was pluged, i do not appreciate being lied to buy this flawhawks employee, flawhawk not only charged us for the service call but also an additional amount for god knows what.......i feel so violated, i guess that is a nice way of making a lot of big bucks !!!!! read more

Hired them to drain and replace my sewage lift pump. They were very expensive cost over $600 to just drain a 50 gallon tank wife said it took them about 45 minutes because of the dirt and rocks that had to get out of the tank but $600 is still way high. Then the guy that came out to replace the pump charges us $208 and was here a total of 15 minutes. He didn't check the pump and I came home to find the tank full of water/ sewage again. The pump was too close to the wall of the tank so the float was stuck. I fixed it myself. I was afraid to call them to fix it cause of all the high charges before. Trust rating on yelp and if the best guy ain't available wait till they are. These guys are always available because their work sucks and is over priced. read more

Don't EVER use FloHawks. They sound knowledgeable and great when they're giving you a bid, but it ends there. They broke deadline promise after promise and were extremely late on everything they did. For 2 weeks they refused to return a single phone call. In replacing the septic tank, they actually hooked up the house water to the irrigation system line instead of the house line! Anyone in this business should know that you need to use CPVC pipe for home water lines and not plain PVC pipe. If the septic "experts" don't know this, then who does? After they replaced the tank and we called them back to fix the water line, they left the yard completely torn up, including numerous areas where their truck drove right over the irrigation system pop-ups - including the above ground control box - ruining it. The giant hole they left in the yard was filled in only partially, ending up 2 feet lower than the surrounding area. Huge ruts were left in the grass and in the flower bed, and they left a 6-foot long concrete pipe sitting in the flower bed instead of removing it. We are thoroughly disgusted with them. Their mistakes and slowness caused us to have to file 2 extensions for the closing of the sale of our house, almost losing us the sale. Take our advice - call someone else!
