I was confused with the Holiday Schedule and did not have my cans ready for pick up, 100% my own fault. I called customer service and spoke to a young lady. She said give me a few minutes and I'll call you back. Less than 15 minutes later she called and said we have a truck close by and if he is not full we will reroute him to you house. If not I'll put your house on the list to be picked up 1st thing in the morning before the driver starts his regular route. Oh and one other thing we will waive the regular pick-up fee. This morning 26 Nov 2025, this truck reversed unto our lawn & destroyed our lawn and the just drove off. It's probably the third time this has happened within a year. I would stay away from this company as they are very unprofessional and money hungry company. I had experienced their services as I was a customer and their rates are high and they bill you an extra 13th cycle. I give these Dummies a "0". The owners are stupid, the truck drivers are idiots. I have had several collections that the dummy driver left half the receptacle full and when I called the dope that called himself a manger said the video shows the dummy driver shaking the can with the robot arm and didn't bother to get off his lazy ass to empty the rest of the contents by manually. Another dummy driver had to empty yard waste manually because the robot arm couldn't grab the garbage can full of yard waste so he was mad and kicked all the cans across the street and in my yard. I called numerous times to ask them to please come pick it, they never showed up. I'll be making a compliant to the HOA. Just observed garbage collector this week on regular garbage truck hop out and throw all our recycle items we had sorted in a separate bin into the main garbage truck. Then emptied our garage on top of it and drove away after flinging our bin across the driveway. Awesome to see people who advertise recycling show how much they care about the environment and do their job properly. read more

Nonexistent customer communication. I waited long enough, so I contacted FLOOD to find out our Condo Association's pick-up dates for recycling and garbage, along with our account number. I was finally told our pick-up dates, and our account # will be on our first bill. I wish that I could do a ZERO STAR review....Patrick Flood doesn't even understand the definition of Good Customer Service, nor does he bother to return Voicemail Message left for him personally, which could have avoided alot of confusion....Originally, they delivered a new Trash Container that I hadn't requested and didn't have room for....I had left him a Message, asking for a callback that never came. Instead, Patrick simply entered the order to pickup my Container, however, had he called me back, he would have learned that I had decided to keep their new Container and discard my old Container....Much to my dismay, I came home on 4/16 to find out that they had picked up their new Container....When I called to explain the situation, I left another Voicemail message for Patrick, which he also didn't return. When I called back and actually spoke to Patrick, he stated that the Container will not be returned until 4/23, leaving us with no acceptable Container for collecting our trash throughout the week. Patrick offers no apologies for this poor service. He is a terrible representation of the Flood Family Name, a HUGE contrast from Brian and Mike Flood, who actually understood how to provide excellent Customer Service. Flood Brothers trucks are constantly in the alleyway next to my building picking up the trash/recycling for JeffJack Apartments, where a bunch of bedroom windows are located. They are picking up trash and recycling in between the hours of 1:00am and 5:00am EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK. The noise from the pickups is SO LOUD and it significantly disturbs hundreds of residents' sleep on a nightly basis at ungodly hours, which are illegal in majority of the city of Chicago. This is now starting to affect me and my partner mentally and on a physical level as our sleep patterns are being disrupted nightly. PLEASE change your pickups to occur between 6:00am and 10:00pm, and not outside of those hours. read more

Your drivers are extremely rude. I have personally just watched them (truck #204) drive recklessly down a residential road where children live. When they use the automatic arm on their trucks they don't pay attention to anything that falls out of the garbage cans leaving broken glass, or garbage laying in the curbside. They never put garbage cans back where residents put them, example in the middle of a driveway for resident sto be blocked in or out of their own driveways. Also, our village has told us four or five times that we would be getting Street sweeping and we have yet to see that this year, 2024. read more

Really bad experiences with Flood Brothers. Curbside service has been inconsistent. Sometimes garbage is serviced as expected. Other times associated leave garbage on the street, tipped over on their side, leave garbage remaining in carts. This week, they mistakenly removed our garbage and recycling carts from the property for past due payment (which was paid). After several calls and emails unreturned, I had to resort to filing claim with IL State's Attorney. Finally received refund in June. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for my recycling to be picked up and over a week for trash. Every time I call someone else tells me they will dispatch a truck...no truck has been to our home. We are currently living with trash building up inside as we have no place to put it. Awful customer service! There is no resolution to the issue, yet I will still be charged full price for a service I am only receiving half of the time. I am reporting you to the BBB! please read this review! look at my photos for the proof. this company is all about bait and switch price tactics. flood brothers does not own thier own landfills and has to pay larger companies like waste management or republic services to use thier landfills. they use this excuse that this is the reason they went up. we have many other locations that use waste services with waste management and republic that have not increased thier prices on us. flood brothers says the billing will be the same but they are all about going up 30% annualy. (see attached photos) that is way higher then the rate of inflation and regualy increases. patrick was supposed to call me and correct my pricing. he has failed to do so. i have displayed a sign on my led that displays how i feel about flood brothers since they feel like online reviews are not worth responding to. i am on harlem ave and thousands of people will see the sign that says not to use flood brothers. read more

Please, please, please tell your driver(s) who picks up for Toyota of Lincoln Park (as far as I can tell) to please obey the noise ordinance that is in effect until 7:00 AM here. Yes, this person may be picking up for a commercial business, but the dumpsters are within 50 feet of residential units, and the 5:00 AM pickup times have woken me (and I'm sure at least several others) up numerous times now.
