I regret I didn't go with others instead. I spent thousands dollars purchased their hardwood flooring, and all I needed was a couple reducers and a Tmolding on special orders, their reps (online/phone center) kept placing my orders on stores that had no inventory (this happened multiple times with different reps), these guys wasted two week of my time. If I didn't call up the stores to check, the orders would still be sitting/idling there forever. Definitely not recommend to anyone I know who is doing flooring work. read more

Floor and Decor has excellent product but terrible customer service and lacking store help on registers. One line open and lots of employees standing around but no one pitches in. The girl on register who I have had numerous times and so helpful and pleasant but can only do so much.. I returned product and 6 weeks later waiting for refund. Pricing is good, but ops with this new location aren't very tight. Lots of employees walking around, but service is spotty and checkout lanes are sparse. Inconsistency in process: some cashiers wrap your individual tile samples in cellophane, mine did not and I had to ask that they be bagged separately so they wouldn't damage one another. read more

Bought 15k worth of tile several weeks have past without my product. The sales man told me I would receive it in a few days from the purchase date. They told me they have everything I ordered in stock but I can't seem to get my product or an answer as to when I can expect to get it. Horrible service! I understand the pandemic and everything but you still have an obligation to keep your clients aware of what's going especially when they are spending a substantial amount of money. My suggestion don't get a delivery through them and go elsewhere if possible. read more

This is an outstanding business with a great selection, perfect customer service and and an all-around superb shopping experience. I would recommend it over Tile Shop, Daltile , Home Depot, Wayfair or any of the others. I drove all from Shrewsbury not knowing exactly what to expect and Rachelle (I hope I spelled that correctly) was excellent in working with me. Absolutely horrible service.We ordered a new floor and stair treads and they completely screwed it up, cancelled it, causing us to wait for a refund which takes several days. In the meantime, shelled out more money to cover the reorder. Literally called a dozen times before to check on the order and no one answers the phone. Manager not helpful either. Would have canceled but stairs we also ordered were a special order and they would not refund the money. Got no compensation for our trouble and my husband had to leave work to go to the store to handle it. Incompetence at its worst! Do not buy anything here! read more

Terrible customer service and even poorer employee skills. Received the wrong floor tiles and didn't realize it until my project was already in progress.. had put penny tiles down only to see that there were irregularities in the tiles. Half of my order was different than the rest. Had to stop and set me back a full day not to mention a good batch of mortar mix and was not an easy exchange when i had to drive an hour and half to their location to talk to them. They need to train their staff on customer service and knowledge because they have neither. read more

Disappointing experience shopping here. I placed an order for pick up, website said both items were in stock and would be available to pick up the next day. I waited until the end of the next day but didn't hear anything from them. I called the store and all they would tell me is the order isn't ready. Fast forward a week and a half, I still haven't received a call or email from them. I tried calling the store multiple times but no one would answer. At this point I'm getting pretty frustrated so I called the corporate number and was connected to someone that was actually helpful. He told me the counter top was ready but the store hadn't received the back splash yet but was shipping to the store soon. Two full weeks later I finally received a confirmation email saying the order was ready. After picking up the items, I took the countertop out of the box and it had a huge gouge from a fork lift or something. The countertop was also not flat and had a cup to it. It's a two hour round trip drive to the store for me so I decided to just make it work since this had already held up the job for two weeks. She was fantastic, listened to what we had in mind, took us thru the store and made suggestions based on our requirements. I've read so many negative reviews describing non interested staff. That was not the case for my husband and me. We are redoing the floors in our Clearwater home but was totally overwhelmed by the choices...engineered wood, laminate, luxury vinyl, or tile. We were at Floor and Decor for only minutes before we were approached by John asking if he could assist us. John spent the next hour going over every option, listing the pros and cons, describing the installation process and as well outlined the estimated cost of installation. I was so impressed by his knowledge, but more so by his relaxed demeanor. He spent a considerable amount of time with us but no pressure to buy. I went in here the day of the grand opening and wasn't impressed with the place as a whole. First off, three people couldn't answer some simple questions regarding tile and what I could and couldn't use inside a shower stall I've just started building in my home. I went next door to the Home Depot and received better service. They had the answers to my questions and made gathering the necessary mortar and other needed install materials a breeze. Subsequently, I spoke to a kid who had applied for a position at this Floor & Decor before they had opened and was told their apparent hiring criteria is nothing more than how little are you willing to accept to do the job. This person also had actual retail flooring experience, too. If you want to specialize in flooring materials, maybe you should hire people that actually know flooring. Just my two cents. read more

I called to see if your new store in Avon had mobility scooters available for shoppers. The woman that took my call (after putting me on hold for 5 mins) said no , they do not have any. Very surprised that all the money you spent on renovating that build and the store is so big you did not think that is important. When someone has mobility issues, they will not spend a lot of time in this store. Looks like we will go next door to Home Depot. Don't expect to give you high reviews on Yelp!! read more

This is a lengthy review, but please bear with me as the information is important. We waited 20+ years to replace the flooring in our kitchen and adjoining bathroom. Working with our master carpenter friend, he devised a schedule so that we would know when to order cabinet, faucets, etc., with the minimal time to be "kitchenless" while the floor was laid. We purchased beautiful flooring from Floor & Décor, and went with their suggestion to use the store-recommended installation service. The store contracts with "Installation Made Easy" who then sub-contracts with local installers, in this case the installers were from a company called "Kico". According to the store, the installation process was handled separately from the flooring-purchasing process. We purchased the flooring and brought it home, eager to get started, as our refrigerator was sitting in our living room, stove in dining room, and new cabinets sitting under tarps on the front porch. Manageable for a week while we waited for the installation date, right? Our carpenter friend had taken up the old flooring, prepared/leveled the new subflooring,etc. The Kico employees arrived on Jan. 11, smoked weed in their car until our friend went out to the car and told them that we were waiting for them to start. The installers worked for two hours, then both guys left for an hour, returning from these breaks reeking of weed. They finished at 7:30 PM. The next day, the Kico supervisor, Cliff (did not get his last name) cam be to check out the work. My husband told him about the delayed start and lengthy breaks (and skunk-like odor), and also showed him places on the floor that were sloppily finished. One of the problem spots was with our newly installed shower stall which was chipped and uneven from the flooring boards being forced underneath it - after our carpenter friend specifically told the installers to work around the base of the shower and not to jam the boards underneath. Cliff called his main office, had my husband provide credit card information to pay for the installation (BIG MISTAKE), and deemed the job "completed". He told us that someone else would come back to repair the damaged areas. After our friend looked at the work, we also found a cracked floorboard to add to the problems. My husband and I went to the Floor & Décor store on January 13, asked to talk to the manager who was too busy to talk to us, and an asst. manager handed us a flyer for "Installation Made Easy", stating that F & D did not deal with the installation problems. Husband contacted IME, and was assigned a person named Beth to discuss our issues; he provided Beth with cellphone photos of the damages. IME sent another Kico employee to us on Jan. 17, who claimed he could not repair the floor/shower stall b/c the extent of the damage was more than he was told about - and he never saw the photos that my husband had sent to IME. Husband continued to call IME and eventually was told that another Kico person would come to assess the damage on Jan. 26 between 3 - 4 pm. This person never showed up. In summary: we are now on Day 24 with no usable kitchen - no answer for our repair needs, and VERY DISSAPPOINTED with our experience with Floor & Design. I have e-mailed both F & D and IME, can find no contact information for Kico, and my husband continues to have hit-or-miss non-committal contact with Beth from IME. Please, Floor & Décor, this is your store's reputation! Help us make this right! read more

This is my second time coming to this store, first one was before they officially opened but I was able to walk around the store which has a massive selection and pick out some stuff for a bathroom renovation I'm doing. It's a stressful time doing a bathroom project for the first time as you want to make sure you purchase the right amount of everything and you want a coherent flow. Okay so as I'm in the store walking around for a few minutes I get to the the tile transition area, I'm overwhelmed. I'm thinking as I look at the options will this work? Is the color right? Over analyzing pretty much everything. It's like the lord heard my struggles and sent this associate named Esther over. She's a literal SUPERSTAR. Honestly. She was not only able to put me at ease but helped me pick out the transition sections, tiles and grout (which I didn't even think of grabbing). Although there were other customers in the store she make me feel like my personal assistant guiding me through each area. She was not only amazingly helpful but she has one of the best (and funniest) personalities I've ever come across. She went above and beyond and when I was at the check out she even called up a very nice gentleman (I think his name was John) to help me load the boxes into my car without even me asking. Where does that happen anymore these days? Nowhere. I hope she happens to stumble upon this review one day and know that she's helping people smile in what's usually a really overwhelming time. I had a very frustrated shopping experience at Floor and Décor. First of all, I spent 15 minutes to choose my Laminate Flooring and the matching modeling but wait in store for 1 hour and 30 minutes for my order to be ready. Then, it turned out that they got the wrong color of the modeling, so I had to wait another 30 minutes to be informed that they did not have enough matching modeling in stock and I would need to wait for two weeks for the additional modeling to arrive in store... After two weeks, they finally informed me that my order was ready to pick up. So I went to the store but again they gave the wrong ones and told me someone cancelled my order. I was very upset about it and I spoke to the manager to complain about the situation and told him the ridiculous experience. Fortunately, he resolved my order issue after 1 hour of wait... I will never ever shop at Floor and Décor again for sure, it was a wasting of my time and money because they never gave you the correct order... read more

Floor & Decor has a borderline overwhelming selection of flooring, which is a good thing, but that is where the good ends with this place... if you are trying to find help in this store, good luck! We walked around the whole store for 20 minutes and found no one that worked there. We finally went to the cashier and found out we could just order what we wanted with a sku at the counter then pick it up at customer pickup... the cashier called to verify what we wanted was there, said it might be 10-15 minutes wait as they are really busy picking a large tile order, okay, no big deal. We checked in at the customer pickup desk where the person working behind the counter barely spoke at an audible level, she told us it would be 30 minutes wait. Approximately 1 hour later and after watching 15 people stare at each other and walk around aimlessly in the warehouse I went to ask what was going on with my order, which had been sitting on a pallet jack the whole time, and they loaded it in 3 minutes... it was a terrible experience, and I would caution you against shopping here unless you like spending your whole day waiting for 2 pieces of wood... read more
