Stopped by the store to check out some tiles for our kitchen back splash. The visit started out great with an associate willing to spend a few minutes answering our questions. We picked up a few tiles to take home to help visualize what we wanted and thats when it went down hill. There was only one cashier at the front. The rest of the team was helping other customers. The customer in front of us was doing a return, buying some tiles and then asking for help to find other tiles on the floor. We waited in line for at least 10 minutes and finally said F it. There were associates at the premier counter who didnt appear to be doing much that could have helped at the registers. If the cashier even acknowledged there were people waiting to check out then we would have waited a few more minutes but she didnt even bother. This visit left a bad impression and we wont be back. read more

The receptionist is clueless and transfers you to the wrong places, the cashiers are clueless and rude as well so I almost walked away but a floor employee stepped in. The cashiers were more preoccupied with their tree decorations than helping us. I bought a bathroom vanity there, we will see how the delivery works out. The floor employees are nice and helpful but the front line employees need training and work ethics. Managers should do their job. The merchandise is beautiful but most overpriced. Big selection so that's good and I like the layout of the store but not sure I will be back since there's other stores and the service here is hit or miss. read more

But first, you need to find "Melanie D". which she is super expert on the decoration. She was very knowledgeable, very friendly and understands everything so easily. My husband and I came to pick up some tiles for our bathroom. Marisa was patient and helped us all the way to pick up the tiles we needed. Jon, Andy, and Roary helped us to load the tiles in our car. They loaded 13 boxes of tile, and told us that the tiles were too heavy for our car to drive (we already were carrying many tiles from another location). They said we should come back another day to pick up the rest because it would be safer for us. We agreed, and they helped us to unload all 13 boxes (more than 70 lbs each) out of the car. I would like to thank Marisa, Jon, Andy, and Roary for their help. Without them, we might have trouble with our car driving home with all of the heavy tiles inside. BAD SERVICE, NO RETURN BY THEY MADE MISTAKE! My workers picked tiles there and put on floor today. Unfortunately, they found second box and rest are different color. I came my new house and realised the shop gave us one box wrong tiles. I went to shop and explained to their manager the reason. I gave this place three chances and every single time it seems to have gotten worse. I went in on a Sunday and we needed to get tile. I had grabbed 3 of the 6 boxes I needed and then there was like 15-20 lose tiles and I didn't want to crack them so I asked for assistance. The lady that I asked for help from turns around and in a very rude tone says "you know what? We are really busy. And it's going to be a two hour wait". We were taken back by the tone. We had no problem waiting but after being treated like that I had a bad taste in my mouth about this place but stayed to wait a little longer as I needed the tile. We then ran into a young man that I had a question for and he was super helpful! He walked us to the tiles I needed and checked the inventory. He told us to order it online for pick up as the wait was long. We agreed. We then placed an online order for the rest of the tile we needed a few days later. After receiving an email that my order was ready I headed to floor and decor to pick up my items. I checked in through the email and waited... and waited and waited. About 40 mins later we went inside and asked how much longer. And we kept getting the run around that there was a really large order in front of us but that we were next in line. Someone had pulled up after us and had received their order and left before us. After an hour of waiting, I went to the same lady that was rude to us the first time we went and I had asked her "do you know how much longer?" And she turned around and said "I have no idea"... when looking at the screen on the inside our name was at the top so I was hopefully going to be out soon. WRONG. They told me they were wrapping my order up and that it would be right out.. I continued waiting and then the next order that came out wasn't mine either. At this point I'm just frustrated and wanted a refund. As I'm walking to the front my order comes out. I have spent 100s and 100s of dollars here and I probably won't spend another dime here. I feel like this store is lacking management. If they were better at communicating and informing customers in a more polite way that they were busy, I don't think it would have been an issue either time. I understand a lot of businesses are struggling with covid 19 and being short staffed but treating people poorly isn't a solution to help the store. read more

They had an incredible selection here so this is why they are getting two stars instead of one.. Unfortunately, their customer service lacked helpfulness, attention to detail, and timeliness. We were told that someone was on the way to help us numerous times and the sales associate designated to the "wood department" never came to assist us. We ended up having to find and ask another associate who was in charge of another area if he could help and he couldn't answer any of our questions regarding price matching, availability at another store, current stock, etc. We asked the same questions over and over again to get no accurate responses. We were there ready to buy but the lack of costumer service, for over an hour, was frustrating so we decided to look elsewhere. read more

I added a bathroom in my house and have been to Lowes, Home Depot, all the tile places in Anaheim but I ended up buying everything at Floor & Decor because of the following reasons. 1. Prices are reasonable and the selection is HUGE! 2. They have the best reps who are always cheerful and helpful to help you find whatever you need. 3. They sometimes have sales and you can actually negotiate some clearance price items even more if you are buying a large quantity. 4. The design team is excellent. Go in and show them a design of what you like (an actual picture or the style) and give them the measurements, they will suggest various tiles and match them depending on your likes until you are completely satisfied. They will even count how many of which tiles you need and print out a worksheet for you so remodeling becomes easier. FINALLY, I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Ginger who is a designer there. She helped me picked out tiles that matched beautifully. She was the BEST rep I have ever met and was trying to help me save money since I have already wasted around $800 on material that wasn't good. I didn't even realize that she was doing that until one of her supervisor causally tried to tell her not to worry about other people's money. I can totally understand that the design team is doing the most they can to help you build a beautiful bathroom no matter the cost. But the fact that Ginger was considerate enough to help me save a little (around $20), actually made the company more money as I bought rest of everything else from them and will definitely go no where else when buying materials and referring my friends. In the end they make more money, which is fine with me because I think they deserve it. Ginger should get the Employee of the year award and Floor and Decor the #1 choice to visit when you are considering to remodel!. Everything and everybody were a solid 5 star!! Thank you. read more

There were many workers there and most didn't seem to be actively trying to help anyone. Adam went beyond all measure to make sure it was a joyous experience for me. Don't ever buy from Floor & Decor. Worst customer service and they are so disorganized, you should be surprised that you ever receive your order. If you are on a timeline such as flipping, I especially advise you to never purchase from them. Your purchases will be delayed and you will lose money everyday. I ordered my tiles online two weeks ago, and the website said the tiles were in stock. I planned to pick up the same day, but thankfully called beforehand, because they told me that they actually don't have the tiles in stock and I need to wait until they receive more between 8/24 and 8/29. It's 8/28, and I followed up with them because I hadn't receive any calls or emails. The first call was in the morning, and the customer service rep said that they did have the tiles in stock and will warehouse pull them off the shelf and they will automatically send me an email saying that the tiles are ready for pick up. Never received the email. I called again at 2PM to follow up, another rep told me the same thing--they had the tiles in stock and will have them pulled and send an email. Again, never received the email. Now I'm calling them again at 6PM to follow up. Never had to chase a company so hard to give them my money. Not reliable. Get your shit together. read more

For as large as the store was, the selection was disappointing. It looks like they have alot because they keep all of their inventory on the floor. The selections were disorganized. Instead of keeping all of the same size and type of tiles together, you had to walk all over the store looking for a particular size. Also for as many employees as we saw walking around, not one person bothered to ask us if we needed assistance, and there was only one checkout person. read more

We were doing a bathroom remodel and wanted to do flooring that matched the wood floors in the rest of our home. Marco assisted us and was amazing!!! He told us about the waterproof flooring he used in his own home remodel and gave us some tips and tricks! This is my first post in Yelp. I felt it was important to recognize Gabriel from the Floor & Decor - Fullerton store. I am not a handy person; however, when visiting the store and discussing a bathroom project, Gabe encouraged me. I took a few of his weekend classes and was able to complete the wall preparation and waterproofing, tiling around the bathtub and 3 niches, tiling the floors and 4 feet surrounding the bathroom walls. We first met Matt who helpfully guided us to the right section of the massive store. He offered advice, suggestions, and answered our many questions with a smile. He told us about their free design service and we decided to take advantage of it and scheduled a same day appointment with Ginger. Holy Batman, Robin, she is nothing short of a phenomenal human being. She was completely patient, friendly, helpful. She reminded us of our limitations and even came to save us from our own endless deliberation AFTER having spent an hour uninterrupted with us earlier. Remodeling an entire home and 5 bathrooms is no easy task and throw in Covid19 to worsen matters even more so. With the help of Designer Kaitlyn, she assisted my wife and I from start to finish in the selections of each and every single tile, coordinating finishing pieces and grout colors. We made several visits to be able to accomplish what was needed, but she and the staff were very accommodating during these Covid times. Horrible experience, this past July 10th bought some tile unfortunately it turned out to be (2 different sizes) total of 14 boxes, first box installed was 8x8 , the rest were all 7-7/8 , contractor had to "improvise "tried to make it work! He replaced about 60% of the already installed tiles, with the 7-7/8 it was a time consuming event, (IF You purchase any flooring " they will not accept if you return it) in any case they sold me 7-7/8 tile advertised as 8x8!!! I strongly believe it's wrong that they don't take responsibility for selling the wrong product!!! read more
