Absolutely worse place to purchase flooring. Customer service... they don't have it. I purchased 600 sq ft of flooring and had to order my T-molds due to them not having in stock. They charged me for them plus shipping and told us 21 business days. 5 weeks later I received FOUR of my SEVEN T-molds. When I called and ask where my other three are, they said they will call and look into it and get back to me. A week later, still no call. I call again, now they have closed my order and claimed they shipped 7! I have called the Loomis store weekly for 4 weeks asking for my order. I called Corporate for help, nothing! If I didn't live 2 hours away, I would have handled this in person. Every single person that works there has zero customer service skills. The first few phone calls I remained calm and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I have lost my patients with them. read more

I'm writing this review to say that Alana is an amazing cashier. I went there on a busy Saturday and she was very helpful and upbeat despite the customer ahead of me giving a really bad time because he was trying to return a sawblade that it already been used. She was very professional and told him no, but he still argued with her and she handled it really well. I was the next customer in line and she was very friendly and kind. I said I think your job is more stressful than they give you credit for. She said asked me if I needed help out to my car and I told her yeah that would be great thinking she would bring a carry out out front to help me. She then told me she would help me because she was done working for the day and would help me load my car after she had clocked out. She then did exactly that even though I told her she didn't need to bother. She came out after she had already gotten off work help me load tile in my car and return the cart for me. She is an excellent employee and should be highly commended. They have such amazing selection on display They also have designers that are willing to help you pick out patterns and colors for free. This store has caused me nothing but problems on my job. I initially ordered 60 sq feet of tile from this store. I was concerned about making sure I had enough so I ordered an additional 15 sq feet online. The online order arrived at the store for pickup so when I went in to pick up I inquired about the original 60 sq feet. I was told that the order never shipped and that there was no longer any tile available. I looked online and saw that I could order the tile, so I placed the order when I got home. About 2 weeks later I received a notification that my order was cancelled. I called to inquire about the cancellation and I was told that the qty was no available, but when they looked in the system they said that 49 sq. was inbound to the store. I asked them to hold them and call when they arrived and not to cancel my order. About 2 weeks later I received an email that the tile arrived. When I went to pick up, they had no recollection of the previous conversations and no information on the 49 sq feet and they only gave me 21 sq leaving me short 25 sq feet of tile. At that time I was told that they had 1400 pieces in stock and I could order online. I placed the order for the remaining 22 pieces I needed and had them shipped. When they arrived 19 of the 22 pieces were broken. I have been dealing with this issue since November (its now Feb. 24) and have a partially tiled kitchen with no idea if the tile will ever come. This has been a horrendous purchasing experience with absolutely terrible customer service the entire time. I will never shop Floor and Decor again, and will never recommend them to anyone ever. I am currently waiting on hold for the last 22 minutes waiting for someone to sort out the damaged shipment. read more

F & D sent an email with a survey on the design consult. I replied I was disappointed they never showed up. Never heard from them again. Went to their Rocklin store & found a tile I like. Made an appointment for F&D estimator to come out & look at the job. Deja Vu, NO SHOW, AGAIN! Sooo glad for this experience-I'm spending thousands on this project & F&D wastes my time. I used Floor and Decor for for my bathroom countertops, BIG Mistake! Floor and Decor pushes you off to a second party that finds a third party in your area to do the work. What could go wrong LOL. Online experience and customer support is great! I just discovered Floor & Decor after returning from a depressing trip to my local tile supplier. We have a lot in our area but they were either too cheap and/or too expensive. I felt better ordering from a place that has a brick and mortar location and after speaking to their customer support to check supplies coming from the nearest location, I placed my order online. I ordered on a Tuesday night and received my shipment Friday morning. Also, the freight service they use is great. The driver let me open ALL my boxes to inspect--not one chip in the bunch! Went here on 12/9 spent close to $800 and the employee made us feel like crap for coming in late. We got here a little passed 7pm and they closed at 9pm. 3 employees was looking around and didn't really want to help us even after I asked for help. The girl finally asked the gentlemen to help us. He was not happy to help us carry some tiles because he already had a long day he stated. I had to apologize to him for coming in late because I had to wait for my husband to get off work then drive over 45 mins to get here. I totally regret this decision after how they treat us. Funny how I am spending money at their store and also had to apologize for it. The reason why I didn't give them a 1 star was because the guy realized he was being a jerk to us and then decided to help us. Very sad and disappointing. I would give zero stars if I could. Floor & Decor lost a $7,000 order, ordered the wrong matching transitions and when their contracted installer used the mismatched transitions, refused to fix. Being this was my first time walking into this store I have to say I've never been in a home improvement store with the most amazing customer service. We actually received help from Rob (store manager) and he knew EVERYTHING about tiling a bathroom shower. As a couple who have never laid tile he provided every single step and detail. It made us feel confident that we are going to be successful. I love that they have a 90 day return (even your unused tiles and the same cost). I wouldn't buy anything from here if you're remodeling and they don't have it in stock. I ordered laminate floors 6 months ago and they are still not here. I was told that they could replace it with a different flooring if I find something else that I like and that they could do an even exchange. Then they said my floors are coming mid November so I decided to keep the old ones and bought additional square footage but then this was not accurate. When I called again to exchange they did not honor an even exchange for the hassle and all the rescheduling that I had to do with my contractor. I don't think he even wants to help me anymore....so make sure you buy from a more reputable place and you don't have to go through this experience of not getting your remodeling on time....6 months later mine is not done. Pick another distributor that's more serious. I wish Floor & Decor had better service. Save yourself and shop in a different place!!!! read more

I have never written a unfavorable review before, but I'm at my wits end! I went in on 10/22 and purchased over $4000 dollars worth of product. At the time everything was there except 4 t-moldings. The salesman helping said it was no problem as there were 14 on the next truck and they would be available in the next 7-14 days. I asked at the time if there was another store that had them, he advised me that Reno had 19 in stock but I would have to pay for shipping since it was a "Special order" ... that would also take 21 days. Over 21 days later with no t-moldings delivered, and many calls because NO ONE ever called me, I went into the store on 11/16 for my 4 t-moldings as I had just been told on the phone that it would probably be another 14 days! And I have to tell you that whoever I spoke to that day acted like he could care less. So into the store I went, ready to cancel my order completely. Tyler ended up being the first I spoke to and I have to say, He was the first person who really seemed to care and wanted to help rectify the situation. I was standing there when he called the Reno store and they confirmed they were available and informed him they would put them on the fedex truck for deliverey to the Rocklin store on 11/19. Yea! Nope! My product was just delivered this morning - LESS 4 T-MOLDINGS!!!!! I called Floor & Decor right away. Fortunately Tyler answered, at least I didn't have to explain it again. Did I sound angry on the phone.. YES! Because I am. He listened and said he would find out what happened and call back... which he did promptly. I've now been promised that they'll be here on Monday. This store has unbelievable amount of tile , laminate , etc. my company always buys tile from this store for nicest houses. It is also very affordable prices. If you have a big project to do and the items are not in stock they will be gladly to order it for you. As soon as the shipment arrives, they will give you a call and load your truck the way you want it. They also have all kinds of grouts there if you don't know which one to pick, there are some samples for the tile that you can pick which is makes very comfortable for you. The store is as big as half of the Home Depot. There are plenty of clean parking so you don't have to worry about someone damaging your car. It is also very clean inside the store. The stuff is very friendly. One I needed to get a t-mold for the special floor that we always buy(grey oak) one of their employees was walking and testing it with me until we found the right one. Here we go...Trying to keep this short Remodeling our home. Kitchen, master bath and a guest bath. Our first experience was great. I believe the regional manager was at the store and was a great service to us. Gave us some great tips. As you can imagine when remodeling, you are back-and-forth to a store, picking up items you are short or that the contractor needs. We returned to the store many times to pick up items or change our mind on things that we picked out. Our first encounter was with Maria, who helped us pick out the backsplash tile for our kitchen. She was a great help and very sweet. Mind you we are wearing our facemasks during this time at the store. Maria had to go to the back to get boxes of tile for us. We were the only ones in the aisleway. My husband said to me that it was hard to breathe and pulled his mask down to breathe. As he pulled the mask down another employee walked by, stopped, and said to my husband, in a rude tone, not in a caring Customer Service tone, "You need to put your mask on!" My husband said to her, " I cannot breathe, I just Took it down to breathe for a second. " She then said, "You can go outside if you need to breathe." I chimed in and told her that she could be more professional at her requests. We get it. No problem. It's the approach. Although we had a few good employee experiences with F&D, I do wish I remembered their names. In this 6 +weeks of complete disregard to customer service at this store, I am talking about every time we entered We/I would cringe at the thought of someone being negative or rude to me or another customer. It wasn't just us, I witnessed it to other customers. Ex-at the register, cashier and customer, between plexiglass, customer had mask on but resting below nose, (Dare) cashier, said to lady, "You need to put your mask above your nose." Come on! You are not the mask security. You have yours on and in between plexiglass. Again, approach. It's great they are protecting the store and following rules but it has gone to the point of power trip. "In my opinion." Store manager-Randy-closing time We checked out, Randy said, something about going down the ramp with the cart and we were on our way. We realized we were over charged for an item but was our fault as I miss counted but wanted to deal with it now and not later. It was a simple thing, so as my husband was packing the car, I grab the item that we were charged extra for on my receipt and walk back up to the door, walked in the door and Randy the store manager, the one that just talk to me about being careful going down the ramp said, "We are closed! Mind you, he just talk to me. Not something like, "is there something you forgot, or can I help you with something? "It was, "We are closed!" I told him I know, I just left the line and I just talk to you and wanted to take care of this so I didn't forget." They were very anxious to get out of there. I just feel all around the leadership has failed somewhere. Majority of the employees not all, do not know what treating customers, or people is like. There is some type of pattern at this store on hiring. I do hope that this review helps as that is what reviews are for. I do not normally put negative reviews online, I will discuss with management first. But this is out of control and corporate needs to be aware or your store numbers will deplete. I really care about our local businesses and want them to succeed. It does start at the top at management etc. I hope you do figure this out as you have a great store and again some great employees, but our experience in the majority has not been a great one. read more

The store/company has been a nightmare. I have purchased items that are worth over $500 and come to find out that we didn't have to use all of the materials that I bought from here, who knew? I lost the receipt which is to no fault but my own. The first time I tried returning the items, I was informed that they can only do "STORE CREDIT" since their system is incapable of looking up the transaction with my credit card. I looked around the store and there was a sign that said that if you don't have a receipt that they'll be able to refund your purchase with just a valid ID. If you visit their website, it says the same exact thing verbatim. I've returned numerous items to Home Depot and Lowe's just by having them look up my credit card information. I declined the first return offer since I thought maybe the receipt is in the house somewhere and gave it another look. I came back the next day to try to return the items and just take the store credit since I couldn't find the receipt, but nope they denied my returns and didn't give me an explanation and simply just said "call this number, they'll be able to explain why." This location was horrible. i ordered some tile and tried to use the curbside pickup, not working. i called the store and they said they'd be out shortly. 15 mins go by, so I walk in and there are literally 5 people standing around a piece of granite looking at it and talking for no joke, 5 mins, while i stand there not being acknowledged. Finally someone made eye contact and didn't bother greeting me, just asked are you picking up? i showed him the order info and he didn't say anything, just walked off, i assume to get my order. Nobody could find it or even bothered to say anything to me for about 15 mins. 5 employees walking around aimlessly until finally i asked is someone getting it? He said "yeah they can't find all the pieces", finally after about 20-25 mins waiting a guy handed me my tiles and not one person said anything to me. It was very weird and kinda felt like maybe because i'm a women or brown that I was ignored. won't go back. My delta shores store is way better. read more
