We had a good experience shopping for new double wall ovens. The store is large & spacious with a lot to see. There were nicely designed kitchens. However, there were quite a few buckets placed here & there on counters & the floor. We were helped by James, who greeted us soon after we entered. He was knowledgeable, talked of other customer experiences for reference, gave his opinion, discussed different scenarios to consider, & spoke with candor. We felt comfortable to take our time to look around. Information would be provided & then we'd be given space to discuss on our own. It never felt pushy or judgmental. The Cafe model we wanted wasn't physically there to see, but we were shown other Cafe & GE models, & had the similarities & differences explained to know what the features were on the one we'd be purchasing. The ordering experience at James's desk was comfortable. We sat on bar seats with a large screen to view on our side that mirrored the computer screen that James worked on. He was very thorough & double-checked everything with us. He was also conversational & humorous during the process. We opted to go with the pro installation team that could handle any possible snafus that could come up (like cabinetry measurements being off) versus a basic install that would only involve taking out the old & putting in the new. There was an initial scheduling issue with the installation. It got mitigated, but resulted in a delay of an hour from our original time slot. The installers were respectful & efficient. They informed us of a small issue & consulted on how it could be resolved. We are satisfied customers. read more

The people that schedule delivery and installations are incompetent amateurs at best. The salesperson and the induction range I bought were great but the back office staff and installation crew were unsatisfactory and frustrating. The person that coordinated the delivery canceled my delivery and didn't bother to tell me. Homewise was supposed to drop off my range at my home on Wednesday. I had an electrician scheduled to upgrade my wiring and install the new range the following Thursday. When the delivery crew finally arrived on Friday they thought they were just dropping it off after I was told that they would deliver and install. After heated calls to Homewise the crew was told to install it. The delivery crew installed the range and it work but I could not get the crew to level it properly. 30 years ago I could have fixed it a few minutes but now I have to get someone to level it. Homewise has good products but don't count on professional service after the sale. I think I judged the delivery crew unfairly. Today was 101°F and it was late in the day. These guys had been out all day they were under the impression that they just had to drop off my range. They still had one more delivery before going home and really didn't want to spend time making my oven perfectly level. This crew works harder than anyone in this endeavor and are in all probability compensated the least. They and the salesman are as much victims of the back office as my wife and I. read more

Finally....Homewise Appliance arranged for S&T Appliance Installer to reinstall the new microwave and complete the dishwasher installation correctly on 6/24/26. The work was done correctly on 6/24/26. The initial dishwasher installation by Homewise's "other" appliance installers, was not done to code (pic below). They left the "hot" wiring wrapped in electrical tape hanging loose behind the dishwasher, creating a potential fire hazard. S&T installers corrected this issue and the dishwasher is now installed to code. I never heard back from Homewise Appliance after the work was done. The Homewise Manager "Sultan" who agreed to refund me $125 for the water valve installation, has not responded to my phone calls or text messages. Guessing Sultan figured that since I was not charged for the outlet installation for the dishwasher completed by S&T, he is not going to reimburse me for the water valve. From my experience, Homewise is not a reputable company and should be avoided at all costs. read more

We bought a washer and dryer and they said it would be a week before they could deliver it, we called with some questions after a week, no return call, we called the salesmans personnel number, no return call, we called them5 times all together and never received a call back, finally I called them after almost 2 weeks and said if I don't hear from you today, we will cancel the order. With only a 48 hour sort of return window we rejected it and insisted on a refund. I felt the refund was being held up to get past the 48 hours but it was issued after several easy calls. We figured out who could install the oven but because of the situation decided to pay the same at Best Buy and use the installer Airport Appliance should have sent out. My general comments are the sales staff know the appliance itself. Some understand the electrical and other needs. Very few understand what the space needs are. We are happy with the refrigerator. Go see Tyler at Airport Appliance. You literally can't miss him, he's about 6'12" and towers over the refrigerators like a gentle appliance giant. We bought a stove, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher during a remodel, and he made the whole thing painless. Funny, patient, and never pushy (no car-salesman vibes here). When we shifted from cheaper models to nicer ones, he didn't upsell, he showed us rebates and sales instead. The real win was delivery. Our remodel depended on the stove showing up within a window, and Tyler kept us updated the whole way. Buying from HomeWise is stupid. On a Friday afternoon two weeks ago, two days after we placed an online order for a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator (props for fast delivery), they delivered a broken refrigerator. But by the time we looked inside to see that the inside water filter gushed water whenever the dispenser was activated, it was already 6:00 pm and customer service was closed for the weekend. It took two weeks to get a repairman to inspect the unused refrigerator yesterday in order to determine that it had a broken water hose feeding the water filter, and it will be another week to get a replacement part to fix it. Today, we called HomeWise to request a cancellation of our purchase and a return of the broken Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator. HomeWise said they would not refund our money or agree to let us return the unit because we failed to inform them of the defect within 48 hours of delivery. (Remember, they delivered on Friday afternoon and were closed for the weekend). We're now working with PayPal to unwind this. HomeWise could not suck more. read more

I purchased a dryer a couple years back from Airport and that order went smooth. I needed to buy a washing machine and a dishwasher and bought them from Airport. I had the dishwasher installed by Airport. They arrived at the very end of their time window and then struggled with removing the old dishwasher. They asked if they could cut a small part of the floor to help with removal and I gave the OK. They cut about 10 sq ft, which is not a "small part" in my opinion. After the installation, we noticed some water on the floor. We look under the sink and there is a leak- it is flooded. I contact Airport and they respond quickly- they send the same company/crew out to inspect the damage and they tell their HQ that it wasn't their fault, and that the repair was my responsibility. This sink was not leaking before they came and destroyed my floor and violently wrestled the dishwasher out of the cabinet. I call a manager at Airport- Danny was his name and he tells me that he is going to check into it. 3 more calls later and he finally calls me back, a week later. He no longer works there. He gives me a new contact. I call her 3 times, and same thing. They will call me right back. At this point, it has been a month and the issue MUST get fixed as a move in is happening tomorrow. I finally give up and call my own plumber. I guess if you neglect and avoid the issue for long enough, the customer will eventually go away. Well, I did. Never again will I shop here. read more

I purchased a Bosch 800 Series dishwasher from Homewise Appliance on May 19, and it was delivered on May 22. At the time of purchase, Bosch was offering a $200 Mastercard Reward Card rebate, which had to be submitted by June 3. I submitted the rebate online well before the deadline but never received a confirmation email. When I tried submitting it again, the website said my email address was already in the system, and I have a screenshot proving it. I contacted Homewise Appliance multiple times and spoke with Jonathan, who assured me the issue had been escalated internally and with Bosch. After weeks of follow-up, I was finally told that Bosch never received my rebate submission. This is unacceptable. I submitted the rebate on time, have evidence that it was in their system, and was repeatedly told the issue was being handled. Instead of honoring the promotion, I was left chasing both Homewise Appliance and Bosch with no resolution. If you're purchasing based on advertised rebates or promotions, be cautious. We received SUPERIOR customer service. 1- Tyler was extremely easy to talk to and friendly, but not intrusive or pushy. 2- He asked questions re WHAT WE WANTED, and truly listened. I did not in any way feel pressured to buy something that I was not looking for. 3- I have never in my 65 years, met a salesman who knew his products as well as Tyler. He was able to explain in great detail, how the different appliances worked, answer every question we had, and he demonstrated each point and invited us to try. I actually thought he was either a mechanical engineer or the owner of the store, (not that every owner knows their products nearly as well). 4- He was extremely adaptive and conscientious, as we could not have our purchases delivered for another three months. He checked on us during this period and when we were ready, orchestrated the delivery without a hitch. 5- Tyler's communication skills are superior, both verbal and written. He provided us with a packet that contained all of the product information, in addition to each rebate and extended warranty that we were eligible for. He explained deadlines, highlighted significant information and numbered the steps that needed to be taken. Our situation was more complicated because all rebates and extended warranty required serial numbers from each product, which we would not have until delivery three months later. He explained how to navigate the system so that we would not lose any of the benefits that we qualified for, despite our special circumstances. 6- the products themselves are fantastic. We ended up buying the top of the line and we could not be happier! This was not because we were pressured, rather because we were provided with excellent education and support and made well-informed choices. (LG bluetooth AI washer, pedestal washer, and LG Bluetooth AI dryer with pedestal.) In closing, there is no question about it, we will be going back to Homewise Appliance as long as we can get Tyler as our representative. Our sub zero Refrigerator and microwave are next on the list.
