Ballroom dance floors need to be perfect and that's what they gave us. It is more beautiful, smooth, and soft than we even imagined. After being told we couldn't get a cork underlay by many companies we found out it's just more work other companies didn't want to do without excessive cost and a lost warranty. After checking out Home Depot, I also wanted to speak with a local company. We decided that carpet was best for our bedrooms and knew we wanted wool. The Flooring Store & Design Center added wood floors to our master bedroom/walk in closet, and carpeting to 2 bedrooms. We were challenged because we had gorgeous wood flooring throughout the remainder of the house that was added 5 years earlier, but the product had been discontinued. It was a unique and difficult floor to match. Rebecca and Mike worked very hard to find the closest match existing, looking at scores of samples with us against our own flooring to find the closest possible match. Every time we had any concerns there were here in minutes to address them. Mike and Rebecca are sensitive to price concerns, and moreover are creative in price-solving solutions. When I started looking for new carpet I happened to see the sign for "Floor Store" and was greeted immediately by Daniel. He told me he was off but would help me anyway. Daniel proved to be very helpful and I took a few samples home with me. Over the next several days as I was out carpet shopping I learned a lot about different strands,styles, quality, the difference between nylon and silk and 8 lb pads. I also found the prices varied extensively - not necessarily just from the carpet - but from store to store which is why I chose "Floor Store". They gave an unbelievable price on Mohawk Smart Strand silk carpet, saving me at least $1000 over a quote from the competitors. I gave them only four stars for the following reason- the night before installation was to start Daniel called about 9pm and said the installer's truck broke down and they were going to have to postpone the installation a day. However, I explained that due to my schedule postponing was not an option, so they made other arrangements and my carpet was installed on time. Because I was told they would be at my house between 10-30 and 11am, and should be done by 4pm, I planned my day around those times. They were actually a little early - a good thing - but they were 2 hours later than expected. This was not a real big deal, however, as I mentioned, I had planned my day around what I was told. All in all, I am exstatic with my new carpet, it looks and feels awesome. Daniel was very accomodating and friendly - I would definetly recommend this company for your new carpet. read more

I can't say enough great things about the Floor Store. With so many flooring suppliers and installers around it's hard to know who to go with. Luckily my realtor knows all the best suppliers/installers/trades in town and referred me to the Floor Store. I am so grateful he did. I am a perfectionist and a really tough guy to please, yet they surpasses all my expectations. They made the process easy from start to finish. Owners Mike and Rebecca are incredible people and wonderful to deal with, as is their staff. . I did a "full-gut" re-model and had them install approx. 2,000 sq. ft. of Arizona Tile throughout my entire home. As you may know it's not easy to lay tile level in such a large space. Luckily their installers were amazing!! I had a ton of other "trades" in and out of this project and they all commented on what an incredible job the installers did here. They said they had seen so many large tile jobs that many didn't turn out nearly as good as mine did. All of them told my installers they were super impressed with their work, and that is was obvious they took great pride in their work. I can't say enough great things about the artistry of the installers but also about what wonderful people they are. Of all the trades I had in this project these guys not only had the most pride in their work, they were the ones I trusted the most to have in my house. We became such good friends I miss having them around! The first thing all my friends and family comment on is how much they love the floors/stairs and how well the install looks! If you have ever done a full-gut re-model you know there are always "curve-balls" that come-up. It happens with every single part of every re-model I have ever done. Some supplies and installers don't always stand behind their work. But be assured that Mike and Rebecca will stand behind all their work and go "above and beyond" to make sure you are not only satisfied but happy with everything!! We went with the Floor Store based upon their rave reviews and they fully lived up to expectation! Our crew, headed by Gil, worked carefully and caringly, with a tricky hardwood floor installation that included a large piano and full-sized hallway mirrors, concrete slab leveling, plus moving lots of furniture before they could even get to laying the floors. The job they did on all of it was excellent, and the floors are beautiful. Their cleanup--both inside and outside where they'd set up an electric saw--was equally careful. Plus, they were unfailingly cheerful throughout. We were thoroughly satisfied with everything they did. I had the Floor Store redo all the flooring in my house and the kitchen countertops. It took me many trips of picking and dropping off samples and the girls there were so patient and helpful. My advice....go with the first flooring sample that catches your eye and you will love it. My floors look amaaazing! Their installers are some of the best and so friendly. They worked so hard and super long days. I used a different company to install tile in my bathrooms and regret it. Floor store has better craftsmanship and their tile and trim cuts are so spot on.
