10-star job from first estimate to completed job. I can't say enough good things about Dino snd his team. Out of all the contractors needed to completely remodel my newly purchased 80 year old beach cottage Dino did the highest quality work and on the exact day scheduled, and it was not easy. My floors weren't level and the bathroom needed a full replaced subfloor from years of being wet and rotting. Start - Dino helped me select the luxury waterproof vinyl style out of a few manufacturers and dozens of choices. Termite damage Created a lot of unevenness snd Dino installed 3/4 inch plywood over the entire flooring and leveled out the everything the day before they installed the floors and all the baseboards. Dino was very communicable with me and needed to be because I had plumbers abd cabinet Guys and painters before and after (this remodel happened at the heart of corona virus outbreak. It was hard in everyone. Dino came through and did what he said he would do. The price was very fair. His price was well below the highest two bids I got and near the median price. Quality is A+. This guys are the best!!! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to do their hardwood or LVT projects. They have an amazing selection of flooring for any taste and the install was immaculate! Highly recommend Cameron, Dino and Flooring Pros. My husband and I own a 2800sqft home that had ugly, red laminate floors and carpet installed. We were terrified over the (1) cost of having to redo all the floors, and (2) length of time to dedicate to having contractors at our house to replace all the floors. Dino came to our home to do our original quote. We weren't quite ready right then to begin the project, and just had him come so we could prepare our budget. Knowing this, he was still courteous, took his time with us, and gave us a thorough run through of how the project would go. We felt extremely comfortable with him, and decided, when we were ready, we would hire Flooring Pros. A few months later, we recontacted Dino to remeasure and finalize plans. He was out of town, but Cameron came, who ended up being our final general manager. Cameron remeasured, pointed out things concerning the install I never would have thought of (transitions, etc), and got back to me quickly with an updated quote, of very reasonable pricing. I showed him the flooring we were planning on buying, and he put me in contact with Platinum Flooring from the Bay Area, where I ended up ordering a TecSun product through. Cameron and his crew were here for 2 days, and while we did the demo to save money, they quickly, but without lack of perfection, got the floors put in. Cameron asked me questions along the way - for example, since I chose a distressed wood, he wanted to make sure I was OK with using very distressed pieces as focal points, or if I wanted them to be more hidden. I wanted a distressed look, so when we did our walk through, he pointed out how he used certain pieces to create a beautiful floor canvas! Overall, I could not recommend Flooring Pros more. They were easy to work with, friendly, and did their job with care and detail. read more

Dino and crew did an outstanding job replacing my 15 year old laminate with Brazilian cherry engineered wood in my small Pt Loma cottage. The house had lots of issues with the slab but they were able to fix all of them, not without some significant elbow grease. They even worked on the weekend! DO NOT GO WITH FLOORING PROS!!!! Communication (or lack there of!!!) from beginning to end with dino was a complete nightmare!! Dino was unbelievably rude, insulting, disrespectful, a liar, and a complete jerk. He offered us a discount in the first quote and then decided to take away the discount (without telling us). When i asked what happened, he says "oh that was when work was slower" (which was only 3 weeks earlier). Wow! After I paid Dino a 20% deposit to start the job, he started ignoring my text messages with little communication then changed appointments several times causing me to wait countless days without a floor in my living room. After exhausting my options, I hired someone else to start the job then he refused to refund my money which is a loss for me as a customer. A year ago needed advice on replacement flooring after my house flooded. I called Dino and he was out right away with great advice and suggestions for how to replace the damaged stone flooring with wood. In the end my insurance company required I use their contractor- I could not bring in my own subcontractors. But once again Dino was responsive, helpful, and great to deal with. Now, I just contacted him yet again for a problem with terrible damage to a wood floor in my guest house caused by a visitor who stayed over the summer. He is coming out right away to determine how to fix ( refinish or replace) and cost so I can settle up with the visitor and then get the work done PDQ. It has taken me a year and a half to write this review because the way the encounter ended with Dino and his crew was so very upsetting. I was given a quote after a very long wait (it was during Covid so I gave the benefit of the doubt). The quote was competitive and the reviews were okay so I moved forward. The day of installation of my vinyl floors I cleaned all areas and stayed out of the way as I know when contractors are working they need space. When I did come in the house, Dino's worker that installed the molding was very unfriendly and scary. I felt very intimidated when I asked him any questions. At the end of the day, when the job was done, I was asked to pay almost $1000 more than what was given to my in my quote. When I asked why this was being added on in addition to the quote I agreed to, Dino replied "everyone knows you have to pay extra if you have to level the floors". After telling him I would not pay more than what was in my quote and going around with him, he took the paint he was giving me to touch up the molding and told me I was the worst person he had ever done business with. These floors cost me over $11k!!! He told me "I shouldn't have tried to do such a good job on this". *****Note: the floors are not level in many areas throughout the house!!**** I have to say the floors are okay but the molding is absolutely horrible!! It is made of what looks like cardboard or particle board and if you even hit it lightly with a vacume, it literally crumbles. When going over molding options Dino was very vague and said anything other than the "standard" molding would cost me a lot more money. If he would have told me the "standard" molding was crap, I would have looked into other options as not to have this in my home. On top of the horrible quality, the contractor cut the molding in areas in the middle of the room so there are uneven seams all over the house. The baseboards that they removed to install the flooring were left uninstalled along with the mirrored doors in the bedrooms. I was afraid to leave a bad review because Dino and his molding installers literally frightened me and at the time I was a single female in my home. I will be submitting this to the State Contractors Board as I still owe $8k on these floors and today the molding crumbled when i hit it with my slippers. Do not use this company, I am warning you that most good reviews are most likely not legitmate. Also, I would like to add that I left a message last month and of course no return call. ***Dino, your response is exactly what I expected!!!*** Perfect example of your style of business and integrity. Your a disgrace to your trade. I will take this as a lesson learned. The baseboard installation and material have been looked at by professionals as a second opinion and it has been confirmed it is the lowest quality material you can get as well as a horrible install. I do not As far as all your wonderful service: hint...when you bid a job, include your extra pricing in your original bid and not when you finish the job. I didn't have a chance to tell you what I thought of the job as you used your gaslighting technique on me before I had a chance. In all my years and work done on my house, you are the most unprofessional and most hostile contractor I have ever worked with. Unfortunately the most expensive also. I will live with the crumbled base boards until I have money to replace them. read more

Dino and his associate did a great job installing a new vinyl plank floor over our entire house. They were very professional and finished the job quickly. Once the job was finished (except for a small bit of trim which I hadn't ordered) Dino left on a 3 week vacation. While he was gone I ordered the last bit of trim. I was a little concerned if he would finish the last bit of trim in a timely manner as I had already paid him for the whole job. We just had our 2nd flooring job installed by Dino Ziric (owner). About 8 years ago, we were fortunate enough to meet Dino's dad, Nick Ziric, who had installed hardwood flooring on the first floor and the stairs of our home. I had tenants absolutely destroy my laminate wood floors, which I didn't discover until they moved out and when I only had a week before new tenants were scheduled to move in. Dino had to tear out the entire living room floor to replace the damaged boards and fixed several scratches and dings on the floors throughout the rest of the house. He volunteered to do the work the next day (his day off) so that I could get it done before my new tenants were moving in and he and his crew did an excellent job. Dino helped us on a custom job to install an amazing home workout room in our home which included rubber backed vinyl flooring in one section and rubber gym flooring in another. He was one of the few people in SD we could find that was willing to take on the job and the result is amazing. Recently contact Dino for a job at our place. He's really proactive and approachable. The job we have is the dinning are where previous owner glued tiles over hardwood. What I like the most about him is his honestly. We are a young couples, got an old home and we are really tight on budget. Dino gave recommendations to refinish the hardwood deeper, and that probably get rid of most of the stain. Some left over can be cover in a certain ways. He doesn't do refinishing work, so he won't earn the business but his recommendation is most valued for customer and it fits in our situation. I cannot give 5 stars on his work since we decided to listen to his recommendation, but he definitely deserved 5 stars for his professionalism and customer service. read more

In April I call Dino Ziric to finish a flooring job. Dino and his partner (don't recall his name) came a few day later. I told them what I wanted done and he said OK. The partner did the work. The transition piece from the bathroom to the hall was installed crooked and there is a gap between the floor and the transition piece. The floor is uneven and needed a filler put in. He didn't put a filler in and there is a gap between the floor and the wall and a raised place from the step and the floor. He said he would fill in all the gaps which he did not do, I have called Dino numerous times and he does not return calls. Several weeks he said that he was very busy but would call in two weeks. Never heard from him. I am very disappointed with the partners work and Dino's reluctance to fix the mistakes that were made. I WOULD NEVER HIRE DINO CIRIC AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE ELSE. read more

Cannot recommend Dino enough! Soon after we purchased our house, our new hardwood floors completely warped. I mean huge mountain in the floor. The stair noses were also installed incorrectly so we needed to get our stairs fixed as well. I was 9 months pregnant so I was scrambling to get contractors out asap and get the work done. Dino responded immediately to my request and came out quickly. You could tell that he took pride in his work and was genuinely concerned about the safety of our floors. After meeting with 3 other companies, we decided to move forward with Dino. We then ended up holding off because the company we purchased our home from was going to fix them for us. After that fell through, we reached back out to Dino (6 months later) and we were able to finalize everything and get the work scheduled quickly. He did an exceptional job on the floors and baseboards. Our stairs are very narrow and walls are uneven so cutting the wood properly and making sure the baseboards were aligned properly was not easy. He did an exceptional job with everything. He also recommended we add trim to the stairs which was a very nice touch (even though I'm pretty sure it ended up being way more work than anticipated because of our odd layout). We had the guys from Flooring Pros install a little over 2000 square feet of hardwood floors in our house in Rancho Penaquitos. From our first meeting with Nick to the final touches the process of our installation went smoothly and was done to a high level of professionalism. Their work was meticulous and exacting. Especially during the installation of the wood on the stairs where the smallest error would be easily visible. Nick and his son Dino were always on time and very respectful of our house and our family's privacy. When you have this much flooring installed, the installers are in your house for almost four weeks.
