The job did take longer than expected, however this was due the fact that our home had uneven floors that Ruben worked on tirelessly to make sure the install lived up to our expectations. We did compare a few other places and their prices were competitive. There was one place that seemed cheaper, but they were not as helpful and kept changing the details of the job. He SAVED my renovation from a contractor that ordered the wrong species of wood - it was literally sitting in my living room acclimating when he came out and looked at it and immediately knew it was the wrong species. He sourced and ordered the correct product, and then refinished my old floors and installed the new hardwood to the point where I have no clue where the floors meet. Now - a more than a YEAR later - I am THRILLED with my choice to use natural oil on my floors vs Poly that all the other contractors were pushing. Someone spilled something in the kitchen that had a tannic reaction (i.e. - big black blob spot smack in the middle of the floor). Marcus came out with his knife and 3 dabs of Monocoat oil and I can't even tell where it was. SO happy and SO relieved that it was a 2 minute (literally!) fix and not $1,000s to refinish my brand new floors. I am SUPER SUPER hard to please, crazy OCD, and can be quite hard on service companies. This one is OUTSTANDING. A++

Originally my wife and I planned to replace all of our carpeted areas with by vinyl flooring from Costco as a weekend DIY project. After the first room, I found that my concrete subfloors were not even and the outcome was pretty bad. We ended up getting quotes from various contractors but Floored Installations was the only group that actually said they could do the install without using quarter round. Easily the best quote we received but that's not even the best part. Floored installations was able to give us an estimate right away and even scheduled us the following Monday. The entire project was just over 2000 sqft and took a week to complete with Nathan and Scotty. They both worked efficiently and the finished product more than met our expectations. In fact, we actually expanded the project to include our stairs after seeing how good the flooring looked compared to the old carpet. With our last minute add, they were able to fit us into their schedule the following week. Pros: -Reasonable pricing -No hidden costs (everything was quoted into the price include the baseboard adjustments and self leveling). Only had to buy transition pieces myself which they told me how many to get. -Very responsive communication -Cleaned the work area pretty well allowing us to just do a once over with the vacuum and mop. -Attention to detail Cons: -Honestly can't think of any.

I initially found Zenith because I had a last-minute cancellation from another flooring contractor, so i was in a quick scramble to get my floors done within my timeline, or I wouldn't have time to do them at all before moving in. Paul was willing to jump on it only 2 days later and at a very fair price. He had my color in stock, showed up on time, and delivered exactly what he said he would. It was a 2-day install; day 1 was floor grinding, color, and paint chips. Day 2 was the top coat. There were a few spots where the base coat didn't take to the concrete perfectly (not their fault, 50yr old slab), and he paused our day 2 and personally came out over the weekend to touch up those few spots before applying the top coat. Top-notch service, HIGHLY recommended. It's clear that Paul cares about his business. I've worked with many contractors over the course of my home renovation, some great, some terrible, and Paul is in the "great" category! I'll gladly refer Paul and his team to anyone who asks.
