I have been with Flora almost 3 years. I have serious acne skin problem for years because of suffering PCOS. Flora has been treating my acne problem and the condition improved a lot. I first walked in randomly for a mold removal which I had tried to remove it 3 times in different places else where and was still there. Flora helped me to remove it until it is completely gone. She made sure to follow up her work. Then I bought a package for acne treatment. Yes, package cost cheaper than individual time. However, you need to be careful it does expire after one and a half year because it is a cheaper deal. (She did mention it and it says on the card.) I walked out with a clean face evey time after facial. Yes, just like most estheticians, she wants to sell you some products. Flora always recommends me the products that she believes in that help out my skin condition. Good, regular facials are important, however, using the right products daily is same important, too. Until my acne condition improved. I went further to the Microdermabrasion treatment with the package as well. I have a lot of old scars and large pores because I did not treat it right when I was young. I knew that some of the deep scars won't be completely gone ( the dermatologist told me ) but the treatments help the skin gets smoother. The price is pricey for me for the Microdermabrasion treatment but if you compare the other places, Flora's price is very reasonable. I have very sensitive skin on my face, waxing will irritates my skin worse. Flora also does threading hair removal for my face, a very natural way that won't irritates my skin at all. Yes. I used to have acne all over my face, flora would be very patient every time to clean all the dirty stuff out. She has experiences on picking pimple that it is not as painful as other beauty salon that I had been to, god knows how hurt it is to pop pimples, especially when they are all over my face. Flora's spa was definitely a wonderful surprise . My coworker brought me here for my Birthday and it was lovely. We both enjoyed 2 hours of pampering from deep facial cleaning and mud masks to under eye treatments and even eyebrow threading! Flora takes such good care of her clients. We were even treated to much needed neck and shoulder aroma therapy massages while our mud masks went to work. After the treatment my face felt so soft, and I immediately saw a difference in my complexion. It was truly a relaxing experience. I easily could have stayed there all day. Don't ever get your eyelashes permed by her. When I had them done, she wasn't paying attention and left them in too long. Not only did the perming solution drip into my eyes (something that has never happened to me before), she overprocessed my lashes. They looked totally ridiculous... like I asked for a spiral perm or something!! They also ended up breaking and falling out a few weeks later!!! The worst part is, she has ruined me for the eyelash perm service and my lashes have NEVER been the same since. Please save yourself from the grief and pain. read more

Flora gives great facials, i've never gotten one done before so I don't have anything to base this on. I have been seeing Flora for about three years now and i can definitely see an improvement in my skin! My acne scars have faded a lot and my skin is much clearer and a lot less oily. She is a bit expensive, but she is willing to work out payment plans if you need it. I had a massage done by one of her staff members last month and it was really good, i would recommend them for that. The only thing to be aware of is because the rooms are not enclosed, it can be kind of noisy inside so that might destroy the relaxing element of getting a facial and massage. I also had my eyebrows pigmented by Flora and she did a great job! I am very pleased with them and they look very natural, i recommend them highly, i was nervous because I have carmel skin and I mostly see fair skin Asian women with this and theirs can look kind of blue, but it worked great! I've been going to Flora's for the past 3 years, and she takes very good care of me. She gives great facials and after each session, I feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I get a package for 10 sessions, and it's completely well worth it because she does extractions, pore minimizing, acne treatment, eye rejuvenation and a collagen mask all in one. The only complaint that I have most about this place is that EVERYBODY speaks chinese and doesn't usually understand much English.It's hard to hold a conversation with them. Most of the time I go, I feel quite relaxed and sometimes I even fall asleep when I am waiting for my mask to dry. But there are a few occassions when there are clients that chit chat throughout their entire session with Flora and they talk loudly through the thin walls and through the open ceilings. I just want to SCREAM: "SHUT THE F&C% UP!" Don't you know I pay GOOD money to be relaxed and you're F-ing up the program for me. Uuuugggh. Facials and service here are great, and Flora is the ultimate sales person too because I keep getting reeled back in for more sessions. Would be nice if it would be a more relaxing place though. I have been going to Flora for over 6 years now and have had a good experience each time. Being a guy, I was hesistant about getting facials because thats more of a "womans" thing. My mom goes there and she recommended me to go try it out since I easily get dark circles and eye bags. I tried it out and liked the results, although temporary because nothing is really permanent. It actually made me feel better to see other men in her facilities. I don't really have any skin problems but I frequent Flora because it is relaxing and helps me destress from the world. I'm the one that snores if you're ever around. =) Flora knows what she is doing and does it well. I just went yesterday and a customer tried to have a session for her eyebrows and eyes late in the day. Flora suggested to book an appointment because it would take a while. The customer simply mentioned that she can do it quickly, but Flora insisted to let her take her time because she does not want to mess up. Flora offers quality services and is adamant about how she does business. She knows I use other products daily, but has never suggested any products she offers. I'm not sure if it's because I am a guy, but I don't hear her selling products unless she truly believes that the customer needs it. There was another guy that I noticed on my way out since we were done at the same time. He had a lot of acne; I'm sorry, but the kind that turns heads. She suggested a product and taught him how to use it. He was very appreciative and left with a positive attitude. I used to come here to get my eyebrows done for several years because I liked how flora waxed my eyebrows. I always wonder how did she get 4 stars since her services are not that great. She overbooks everyone and rushes through all of her services. She works on 3-4 people at the same time. Two days ago, I texted Flora if she was available to do my eyebrows on Friday. She gave 2 options: 1:30pm or 2pm. I picked 1:30pm. I walked in today and she told me that she was busy. She said I had to wait till 3pm. There was no courtesy text or call that she was running late or anything. She later texted me that she was available at 2pm or anytime tomorrow. No thanks, my time is valuable. She apologized saying she forgot because she was going on a vacation soon and forgot to write it down. I told her I wasn't going to come back because of her repetitive bad customer services.Flora even tried to offered me "free eyebrow waxing." No thanks. HYGIENE: Flora's facial beds are always damp because she doesn't change her towels on the bed. She always tell me to lay down on a bed after her other customer gets up. So don't come here if you like to lay on someone else's wet towel. GROSS! Don't come here unless your schedule is open the whole day because I just wasted my time. Update: 8/14/18: Flora texted me this morning and apologized again. She even tried to offer me free services for facial and removal of freckles. I do not recommend this place for facial or permanent makeup. Flora wants cash payments which is true, can't track it down if problems arise. She had me join two packages which costs $700 for each. One for facial treatments one for waxing. She will give customer a paper form of membership card, no records on computer or anything else. If customer loses the card, will then lose the membership. She is not willing to look up customer record, the reason why is she is too busy. With appointment, customers should expect to wait 30 minutes; which is unprofessional. The other review was right about her running from room to room work on different clients' faces. There was one next to me in the same room with skin issues, I was concern about sanitary of this place, Flora's practices. At the end of facial treatment, Flora will ask customers to tip her staff. Flora, the owner often hard sell her skincare products with high prices. It is also not easy to make appointment with her, she claims that she has over a thousand customers, only weekday times will be available. I spent over a thousand dollars there for acne treatments last year and nothing had worked out. Got my eyeliner tattooed and the one on my right eye is crooked. Had mole removal laser treatments for my whole face for twice. All my moles have not been removed, but the laser left me all the little red scars. I have not been to Flora's Beauty Center, however when I first met Flora she genuinely seemed to care about others. When she first saw my pregnancy mask, she offered me use of a sun spot cream. At first I was very skeptical about this product as I had been using many other kinds of 'high-end' creams that supposedly helped clear the pregnancy mask. I already bought a facial package not too far from her. I still had acne from the other place and decided to give her a try. She is SUPER amazing.
