Reservations: If you have more than 5 in your party, call Flora's instead of using a reservation app. Flora allows more people per reservation. Service: Excellent. One of the ladies arrived early, not realizing that the kitchen opened at 5pm. After doing a "wellness" check, Guac & Chips with Mango Salsa was delivered for the rescue. We shared and enjoyed every dish: Stuffed Mushroom Caps Chicken Flatbread with pesto and arugula Salmon Protein Bowl South Bay Sliders with fries -love the Fig Marmalade and Goat cheese pairing on these bacon burgers Loved the cocktails: Amorita's Divya Spritz's Frozen Paloma's Lemon Drop Martini Katie did an amazing job making sure we did not need for anything. They served us warm tap water, which they took forever to bring, and my Flora Fries had weird chunks of shaved parmesan, which is weird because all of the other reviewers' fries had grated parmesan? Also I ordered the frozen paloma and it tasted like straight grapefruit juice! It was so bitter that I could barely finish it! My friend ordered a glass of Cabernet Bechman and it was not smooth at all! Will not be returning. Also, the ambience sucked. read more

First time at Flora with my homegirls after work on a Tuesday .And I must say I am impressed the pictures online did no justice! And I love a great place to take photos and this is definitely the place.... great vibes and smooth music...the shrimp very flavorful, the steak fries amazing and the drinks awesome... our waiter Analisa was awesome and I seen her working very hard with the other tables as well... Cool bar to visit if you are in the area (or work around here)! The bar was pretty easy to find and there is plentiful parking around the area at nearby businesses. I really liked all the plants in the area and there are some decent views of the surrounding buildings. The food and drinks were relatively decent but nothing to write home about (the bread is definitely worth a try). Prices also seemed pretty typical for your run-of-the-mill LA bar. Altogether, it's a decent place to chill with fellow friends or coworkers. I do wish their music selection was better though haha. read more

This place is THE worst!!! Staying here for business, made a reservation prior for the four of us. What they pour for draft beers is an absolute joke it was maybe a 6 oz glass.. even the bartender apologized for the size. The "grilled" fish tacos I ordered from the menu came out BATTERED AND STILL FROZEN, the sweet server I felt so bad for you could tell they were under staffed. I never send food back (as a former server) but this was my first time doing so and it took over 40 min to get my food out that was still fried horrible. Zero fish in it. Then a non existent kids menu... the hotel lobby restaurant was booked for a wedding, WHERE DO YOU EXPECT YOUR HOTEL GUEST TO GET DINNER FROM?!? Everything is over priced. Terrible service. The waiter didn't let me sit on the table that we want because they have a reservation that never show up. Had a great time with friends back in July. Great ambiance, the guy playing the guitar was awesome, service was great and the food was good. The only bad part was the drinks were SUPER overpriced for how big the glass was and how much ice they packed in it. Service was NOT good. Lots of attitude from a female server who has long ombré hair. They bring your drinks out one by one when we placed an order of 5 drink all together... three glasses or wine, a seltzer and a beer. We live a few minutes away and have been wanting to try this place since last year. Parking is a pain unless you are staying at the hotel or work nearby. Nice decor, love all of the plants and herbs in the various planters around the outdoor area. They have fairly small staff, so service can be slow. The view is great. Weather can be a bit hectic, as late afternoons in El Segundo gets a fairly strong sea-breeze, which seems magnified when you are up a few stories. Very nice selections of drinks, from craft cocktails, to great beer selection, to a very wide range of wines from all over the world. Only tried one food option, which was the Flora Fries, which were excellent. Will definitely go back for more. read more

Cute little rooftop bar/restaurant. Definitely make a reservation, was staying in the hotel and was surprised how busy it gets. Once stayed there another time and was starving, and couldn't get a spot. Drinks were very good but wish the food menu was a bit bigger. A little limited but at least everything tasted good. Server was attentive and efficient. Would come back when we stay the hotel, just wish you could casually go up there to eat unplanned, instead of needing reservation. Or if hotel guests get a reservation exception would be nice. read more

Outdoor patio is nice, they had a DJ was playing good music. The bar area looks nice but has a foul smell. Service was sub par. There was no welcome feeling at the entrance, no direction on where to wait, a bit awkward. Server was not personable. The drink originally served was too bitter to enjoy, asked for another and server gave me a bad look. Replaced it for me, so I could appreciate that. However, food never came out, after almost an hour server came to ask if I wanted anything else, I said I was still waiting for my food. I had to ask for it to go and when it was brought out, I asked for my tab. The bill never came, server passed by me twice saying it was coming. I had to go to the register to ask for my bill to pay. Overall, unsatisfactory. Set your bar really low if you choose to visit this establishment. On another note, I have to give it to the food runner a young lady that appeared to be assisting, very pleasant and timely, she should be the server. read more

So first of all I love the newness I'm seeing in the el segundo area! This is the cutest little roof top lounge that can make for a great girls/date night! It's a little tricky on the service though! I'm not sure if they don't know how to adequately schedule for the weekend cause there are never enough servers just plenty of people running around looking like they don't know what it is they're doing. I feel bad even saying that cause I get things happen call outs or people shifts being cut due to slow knees buuuuut it took like 20 min to get or order for food and drinks even taken. The good news on that which balances it just a little is that the food and drinks are delish! I'd definitely recommend making a reservation before hand. My first time there and I was a disappointed. Crystal our waitress made comments that we took a personal. As we order drinks she mentioned a few names of tequila that we weren't familiar with, she didn't bother to mention they only served organic drinks. So according to her she served us with the finest mezcal and it was not to our liking. When I asked her why was that their finest she seemed a lil upset and said "we only serve high end, quality here, we don't offer patron", not sure what she meant by that. We took it offensively, I guess she assumed we didn't have an idea of what higher end drinks taste like, and what we drink is "patron". Although she then replaced the "high end" mezcal with a different brand tequila, she did say for us to keep it. Not sure if she though we wanted free drinks. Why would I keep a drink I didn't like? Coming from sherman oaks driving all the way here just to find out that they have canceled our reservation WITHOUT NOTICE, no call or even email. How disappointing this can be on the mother's day weekend? Communication is very bad in this place, to top it we have spoken to the manager Bridget and offered us a patio dining instead, when we decided to get on this we have found out that they don't even serve food, even more disappointing. This rooftop bar is super chic. They have a DJ fantastic ambience and really great drinks. The bar was absolutely packed when we got up here which I've never seen before in a hotel bar this large. They have a 36 ft long fire pit with seating for five couples on each side and many alcoves and cool places with their own heaters as well. Reserved a table for my roommate's birthday and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful restaurant! The setting is absolutely gorgeous and our server was so attentive. The cocktails and food is a bit overpriced for what you get, but I guess you come here for the atmosphere. We tried the sliders, banh mi, steak frites, and rosemary bread. We were denied a reservation. Sadly, we will have to go to another venue since they will not hold an outside table. I was just told it's 105 outside so you'll be able to grab something. The sarcasm behind the person answering the phone was astonishing. I do not have time for my team to sit and wait as it was going to be a work social event/happy hour.
