I have been going to other places for lip filler for years. It was ALWAYS painful and left me extremely bruised. It looks like the filler has migrated slightly into my upper lip as well. I've also had cheek filler that didn't last and looks as if it migrated to my mid/lower cheek area, giving me a fuller and rounder look - which is the opposite of what I wanted. If the filler didn't migrate, my face is just becoming more round, which again, not the goal. I came to Known with the intentions of possibly dissolving the filler in my cheeks and maybe even my lips. That wouldn't have been my first choice but without the expertise, I didn't know there were other options. I also wanted more cheek filler thinking it would make my face look slimmer but would've liked to avoid that as well if possible. Tori was my provider and not only is she the absolute sweetest, but she is truly an EXPERT. First, the lips. She told me I probably didn't have to dissolve my lips and that she could fill them. If after she did them and I still felt like there was migration or no lip line definition, we could dissolve and start over. She numbed me and injected my lips and when I tell you it was barely a pinch, I'm not exaggerating. Easily the most comfortable experience I've ever had getting my lips done. No bruising, minor swelling. And the look AMAZING!! Truly better than they've ever looked. I have sort of a crooked smile (which I didn't even mention to her) and she completely evened it out. I hated smiling with filler before because I felt like it completely covered my teeth and looked lopsided. Now I can see my smile and it makes me feel so confident. I wasn't sure if I wanted the full syringe because I didn't want to go too full, so she used the remaining in my "chin shadows" (the little divets on each side of the chin) and I am so glad she did. My lips are the perfect size and that hollow area around my chin looks so much better. 10/10 so happy with it. When referring to the fullness in my face, I asked about massetter Botox. It relieves tension in the jaw especially related to TMJ and gives a slimming effect which is just a bonus. Tori did one little pinch on each side of my jaw and wow I noticed the slimming within a week. I have no tension in my jaw and my face is finally the way I want it to look!!! We didn't even have to touch the cheek filler. This did the trick alone. I had such an amazing experience, I went back 2 weeks later to get Botox in my forehead, around my outer eyes, and a brow lift for the first time. My forehead had never looked so smooth and my eyes look so much more awake with the lift. The staff is incredible here (shout out to Katie at the front desk) and the space is gorgeous. I will never trust anyone else with my cosmetic needs. 10/10 I can't wait to come back!!!

However, I did the last time I had a treatment and noticed on it that I was charged a 10% Covid-19 Surcharge. I did reply to the email and asked why this charge was on there as I was completely unaware. The owner wrote me back saying they would gladly refund the charge to my account (they did) and explained that the fee is disclosed and they also have a sign at the front desk (I missed this!). However, when I asked where it was disclosed, I found out it is buried in their FAQ section under Pricing: Due to increasing supply costs, a 10% surcharge of up to a maximum of $25 is added to all services. Had this surcharge been more transparent and included in the actual listing of their services along with pricing, I certainly wouldn't have booked an appointment knowing how much that would add to the service.

Chest is ok, but my shoulders and arms are messed up now because of incompetent people who performed this treatment on me. My arm was so badly burned and blistered that it took few days for pain to go away,  I couldn't  sleep for few nights. I contacted Carrie and send some pictures, she wasn't concerned and said its all ok and not gonna scar. Let me tell you, she was wrong,  I have unnecessary scar  on my elbow. The rest of my skin on my arms and shoulders is in white patches where it was burned. IPL supposed to bring your dark spots (only) to the surface, but in my case it removed my pigment completely and now I have white patches on my skin. In addition, you should know that this place will try to rip you off! If you decide to go to this place make sure you check prices on their website before. In the beginning I only purchased 3 sesions for  chest and they told me its $825 for 3, but when I checked their website its $200 for 1 session for chest (do the math.) When I brought it up, they add on shoulders  next time to compensate. When I did arms only, its $150 on their website for 1 sesion, but they wanted to charge me $350 at the register. After returning from vacation, I realized I had been charged at the end of June even though my membership should have been canceled. It took SEVERAL phone calls to actually get ahold of the manager. She was very apologetic and immediately sent me the SAME paperwork that I filled out in person via email. She also promised to reimburse me for my June charge. Okay, so I complete the online paperwork and email it back immediately. Again, I move on with my life...JUST noticed I was not only NOT reimbursed from June, but they were so kind to charge me again for July. Just called again and of course the manager wasn't available. I had some birthday money and saw a groupon so I jumped at the chance to make an appointment. You can either call or book your appointment online. It was easy to book and they follow up to confirm about two days ahead of your appointment. The one thing I will say is that the signage isn't great. The studio is in a house that is next to a towing business. I don't remember what the large sign says, but it is a little difficult to see the Glo Skin name on the sign from the street (so trust your GPS, you really do enter the parking lot there). The inside is bright and cheery set up with a little shopping boutique, bathroom and two comfy couches. The treatment room is cozy and the table was a nice length and width. I do wish they had plus size robes available. I'm a size 18/20 and it barely fit around me. Ultimately, it doesn't matter that much because you are under a warm blanket, but I wish more places realized that not everyone fits into a standard robe. The experience itself was wonderful! She took the time to answer my questions and talk through what the various masks and items were that she was using. There were several different types of massage and washes and they were all divine. The facial part took a look at my skin, did exfoliation and cleansers and a jelly mask. I left with my skin and hair feeling and looking great! One thing I really liked is that while she gave me recommendations for products, she wasn't pushing the items they sold and even gave me recommendations for stuff you can find at a drug store or Ulta. It was a nice change of pace from other places I have been for a facial. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing experience that I would definitely recommend!
