Cute store with a decent stock of plants ranging from common to uncommon. However, I don't think the attendant knew much about their merchandise when asked to identify plants with no labels as they could not provide a clear answer, not a huge deal but...it's a plant store. Other than that, its a good selection of plants but be careful. Upon close investigation, some plants have mealy bugs, particularly the p. brandtianums (theyre so pretty, too). This is the sort of inspective rigor I'd expect a plant store to have down, and it's understood that some may sneak past QC, but once you see one plant in store that has it, it's not hard to wonder if some may have it too. In summation, bring some knowledge going in because they have a good selection and repot ASAP, spray bug repellant and quarantine plants when buying from this store. My friends and I were in Seattle today for an art show and I was so excited to come across this quant plant store! I just purchased a home and wanted to buy some new house plants and thought this would be a great find and perfect fit for my needs! I was mistaken. My friends and I walked in and there was no one else in the store except two employees. We were never greeted or acknowledged by them, and when they would pass by us (it's a small store!) they would make us feel like we were in their way. Their plants were very pretty and I would have purchased some, but I'll take my business to somewhere where they have the courtesy to at least acknowledge me. Do better. read more

I don't understand why every time I visit this place, it's closed. They don't seem to follow the hours on Google, Yelp and even their own hours sheet. It seems like a really nice and cute shop, but they never seem to be open whenever I go. They also don't provide a phone number for me to call ahead and see if they're open. So I went to this wonderful plant store today and wanted to make sure that I gave it the praise it deserved! I don't EVER do reviews as you can see so that's how good I thought it was! When I looked it up a scathing review came up about a dog attacking him and the customer service was bad I could not understand it?! I cannot speak to his experience but there were two lovely dogs there today, well behaved! The service was wonderful! She even has a cute guy who delivers the plants right to the door at no extra cost! As someone who works in the service industry I cannot stand to see one person who is making what seem to be ridiculous claims against a buisness that by all other accounts seems wonderful! This man has one other review and it is another one star review. He only reviews when he's upset! Do not take his word! Look at all the other peoples wonderful reviews that the store deserves! It's picturesque, well kept shop with a lot of personality that is a MUST when you're in Belltown! It feels like you're really in a jungle! Keep up the good work Taylor don't let one persons poor attitude bring you down! PS: I got plants for my relatives who live across the country and I learned she ships nationwide too! Family horrible experience FRINGE , I went into the plant store to make a purchase. Right from the start a Dog ran over trying to attack me barking. It was a horrible scary experience in a place of business to have someone's pet trying to attack a customer.. at this point I didn't have time to examine the plant that I purchased however when I get home I realize the plant 90% of it had damage leaves. This was something that I was unable to examine because I was nervous for my life in the store with this out of control dog barking and running around me as if it was going to attack me. I would not recommend any person who is not familiar with animals or have a small child or any loved ones that they care about to shop at the store. This place is the cutest and the owner is absolutely incredible herself. As you walk in, you start to imagine yourself living in this space. Just place my bed right in the middle and leave me for life :) The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable about all of our questions regarding various plants we currently own. We got some cute new additions to add to the family. She even potted our new plants, and sold us some potting soil. Oh, and let's not forget the coolest candle on earth!
