Since this is so difficult to get reservations, a friend and I decided to wait in line for when they opened and try our luck for bar seating. There were probably 20 people in line when they opened, but some of those people had reservations. There are 10 bar seats and we were lucky to get two. If you can't make it at 5, trying again around 6 when the first bar seats start leaving might work. I got the pear cocktail that was good. We shared a very large Caesar which we couldn't finish. My friend got the fish of the day (cod) and I got the lasagna and we both enjoyed our meals. The lasagna was very large so I had leftovers. read more

Discovered this place by accident and got lucky with a reservation 3 weeks out. Had to eat at 5pm on a Friday but it was totally worth an early dinner. The service by our waiter was outstanding / I forgot his name - Eli maybe . Great guy who said he's been there since the opening in December 2025 which we were surprised by because the place looks like an old school Italian joint. The food was delicious and well thought out. The menu was small but offered enough options, it was hard to choose and the chef made an off menu item for one in our party. We tried the cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert - highly recommend both but the key lime was absolutely the best I've ever had. It had some sort of toasted meringue on top that was out of this world delicious. . Before we left, I made reservations for our next visit which isn't until May! . Among the hardest reservations to snag in the Denver metro. Is it worth it? Yes! Is it the best Italian food I've ever had? Probably not. This establishment under the Odell family does it exactly what you would expect provide an upscale Italian, old world opulence type of experience with flavorful borderline inventive take on classical Italian food. The standouts were the drinks, strong flavorful and not too sweet a pet peeve of mine. The cod fish was incredible - buttery and flavorful. Probably the best cooked fish that I've had in Denver. The spicy rigatoni was nice, similar to carbones recipe but not quite as rich. Couple minor points of improvement: would be nice to squeeze some floral arrangements in the corners of the restaurant. Also, a dessert cart would've been a nice add. Finally - bathroom cleanliness, at this price point that should be a consistent check. WOW is this place hard to get a reservation at! It took us about 1-1.5 months to get one and finally got one on a Wednesday night. Once we showed up, we realized why - there are literally less than than 15 tables. Between two of us we shared the caesar salad, focaccia bread, burrata, and the vodka pasta. The caesar salad and focaccia bread were delicious! The burrata was neither of our favorite burrata we've had - it was very acidic and vinegar-y, likely due to the tomatoes being pickled which we found to be odd, and had we known this, likely would not have ordered it as it was not a typical burrata. The vodka pasta was great, it had a perfect level of spice to it, and was so saucy each noodle exploded in your mouth and was great. This is hands down my favorite Italian food I've had in Denver. It's classic, comforting, and feels like a warm nonna hug in the best way possible. Florence Supper Club comes from the team behind Odell's Bagels, which already had my trust, and they absolutely delivered here. This is classic Italian done with care, intention, and just the right amount of polish. Nothing feels overworked. Everything feels right. We ordered a lot of the menu and honestly, I was going to narrow it down to favorite bites, but I loved everything. Every dish hit. We had the scapece, their famous meatballs which fully live up to the hype, a Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni alla vodka, linguini vongole, orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, lasagna bolognese al forno, and veal parmesan. We finished with tiramisu, Florence's cheesecake, and a chocolate hazelnut pie. There wasn't a miss on the table. The pastas were cooked perfectly, the sauces were balanced and comforting, and the veal parmesan was exactly what you want it to be. I saw reviews talking about alleged New York-levels of Italian food from Florence, especially their chicken parmigiana (a high bar indeed, but certainly worthy of my attention, given my experience with eating there for years). Florence isn't big but it's cozy. A little loud but they were busy and that's a good problem to have. The Caesar salad was great and easily fed two of us! The romaine was well coated with a thick, delicious dressing that wasn't going anywhere. The chicken parmigiana didn't come with pasta so we asked if it were possible to get some. They had spaghetti marinara (not on their menu) that we could order so we did. We liked the sauce. It was delicious and not too watery. As far as the main entree itself went, one piece of chicken parmigiana easily fed two people... The breast was butterflied and the size of the plate, too! It looked amazing, smelled wonderful and I couldn't wait to cut into it and put a piece into my mouth... ...and that's when I noticed my knife COULDN'T cut into it... Yep... You can probably what happened next... It was chewy and a little bit dried out. It wasn't enjoyable at all and couldn't be saved by the sauce. How utterly disappointing. This was such an unexpected delight. I reserved our spot on Open Table, completely blind (just thought something called a Supper Club sounded a little romantic) about a month ago. We arrived to a very old school Italian spot. Every wall and ceiling is painted red, there are red and white checked linens on the tables and black tufted leather/pleather booths. Verrrry old school. We were given a pretty tight menu... only four options per section, and about a dozen cocktails to pick from. The amaretto sour I got was delicious and my husband had no complaints on his old fashioned. The waiter said he honestly loved everything on the menu (and that this was the first time in his 20 years of waiting tables where he could say that). OK. Meanwhile, I'm seeing these plates of impressive bread and cased salad come out, so we ordered one of each. The bread was insane, as was the hulking heap of caesar salad (tons of finely grated Parmesan). We cleaned our plates. The Caesar dressing was lovely... decent bit of garlic but still tangy and complex. We ordered the chicken parm and the spicy rigatoni for dinner and the deliciousness continued. The chicken was tender, delicately breaded and was enough for three people. Doesn't come with pasta, which was where the spicy rigatoni came to the rescue. The pasta was obviously fresh but the hero was the sauce... rich and well rounded with the perfect amount of heat. Service was impeccable and the vibe was professional but unrushed. Just the perfect evening. We got the recommended cheesecake to go, and that was also perfection. Light and yet complex... very unlike cheesecake, but in its own way, perfectly cheesecake. We will definitely come back. Intimate, perfect renditions of the classics, and confident in every single thing on the menu. So well done. After going somewhat viral, a girlfriend of mine and I decided to try this place out. We booked our table over a week in advance, 5pm for 2 people, as there was no options for a later time, sooner date, or more people. There is street parking, a good amount of it, but if it is full, it could be a little walk. Inside has a sultry, New York style atmosphere, with an old-fashioned jazz club feel, brick walls, dim lighting with ornate lamps. Our server, Molly was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. There is no cell reception or Wi-Fi in the restaurant, at least for us, so we were unable to check out photos of the dishes to help us choose. She went through all of the items on the menu, specifying details about Ones with unique naming or ingredients and giving her recommendations. We decided to start with the focaccia and olive oil, as well as a meatball. The focaccia was delicious, perfectly oily and salty, a real experience on the palate. The meatball was OK, I asked for ricotta on the side, but they didn't have any so they brought extra Parmesan. I felt like it could've benefited from the cold fresh creaminess of some ricotta, and I thought the meatball was good but not great. We knew we wanted to try the spicy pasta alla vodka, we had seen videos of it looking delicious and creamy. The flavors were indeed delicious, but there should have been more sauce. We actually let Molly know this as she was clearing our plates, just as a word of recommendation for next time, and she came back later and mentioned they were taking it off our bill. Even though we Tried to insist that was not our intention, they were so kind and adamant that we not pay for it unless we enjoy every dish fully. We also had the lasagna, again I felt like the flavors were really good, but the texture was lacking, there was no gooey cheesiness between the pasta layers to tie in the dish. Absolutely worth all of the hype with a cozy, classic feel and large food portions that almost guarantee leftovers for the next day. The chicken parm is especially large and is extremely delicious both during the meal and the day after. My wife claimed the spicy pasta à la vodka was the best she'd ever had. The focaccia was personally the best I'd ever had. The only skip though I would say are the potatoes fonduta which had a good cream sauce but I wish the fingerling potatoes had been crispier. I sat at the bar for a different perspective and was served by Billy R. She/her was nice. I noticed a few items had left the menu and most food items increased in price by up to $4 including drinks. I started with a proper Negroni. Then their large house salad and house-made Foccacia bread and olive oil. Great salad and bread. I got a cup of olive oil. Next was the Chicken Parmesan. A truly massive entree ($36). I ate half and took the rest home with 1 slice of Foccacia. I paired a glass of Northern Italian white wine with my entree. Lots of food, but I wanted dessert. A large portion of Tiramisu for $14 and a Espresso Martini. I conversed with one of the co-owners, Paul Lysek. I met the house manager, Paul Carter. A great experience. read more

This is not only the best Italian meal I've had in Denver, but it's now my favorite restaurant in the city. I celebrated my birthday here with my husband and our server, Eli, made our experience so memorable. My favorite bites were the Caesar salad, loaded with freshly grated Parmesan and crunchy croutons, and the chicken parm which was perfectly breaded and flavorful. We wouldn't recommend going here. Although we understand it is very difficult to get reservations, we spoke with the staff and they told us to be there 30 to 15 minutes early. We arrived 20 minutes early waited in line only to be turned away by a woman who was reserving three bar seats, with not all of her party there. For such an exclusive restaurant seems ridiculous to be allowed to save a seat rather than who has been in line waiting. The hostess then recommended my nicely dressed husband, and I go to the dive bar next-door and play pool for 2hrs... We then called the next day and spoke with the manager. I told him the days that worked and all he could give us was a Thursday at 9 PM. I really tried to be nice but after no response here we are I have since sent an email and tried to get back in touch with the manager, asking if we can get two reserved bar seats since obviously that is their policy "save seats" to make up for the situation. Have not heard back. Very frustrating. There are so many amazing restaurants in Colorado. I would not waste my time at this one if this is the type of service they are demonstrating. read more

OK, so you are reading the review from a 68-year-old foodie and ex-wine-store-owner here. Take that into account when you are trying to understand why my review is so "contrarian" to other reviews and sentiment on this restaurant. I was immediately attracted To FSC because I am 1. Italian, 2. extremely "old school", 3. it is in my neighborhood (Wash Park/Bonnie Brae). I really WANTED to like it.... but... if you like very LOUD and high energy, this is your place. I do not. It has a "neighborhood vibe", but the prices are more Manhattan than Denver, as I know it. My main complaint i the prices and limited selection. I can live with "a small menu done well". But, please-- $14 for a house salad with WAY too much vinegar. $9 for ONE (very good and tender) meatball? $12 for some focaccia. Everything is alacarte here. We tried the chicken Parm. It was a generous amount of pounded out chicken ($36, one of the least expensive mains). But it came with NOTHING... not even a small side of pasta, really?? You could order a pasta for maybe $25-30. No vegetable unless you get broccoli for another $14. We passed on the $70 pork chop and $85 steak. Where am I, the Capital Grill Steak House? As a wino, I know wine. The BTG wines ($17 for a glass of Chianti) seem over-priced, as well. The Montepulciano we had seemed "pedestrian" at best. Overall, we shared a salad, 1 meatball, some bread and one main (with no sides) and the bill was over $100 w/o tip. This place is all the buzz-- we had to wait for 2+ months to get a reservation. Most the people in the restaurant were "thirty-something"... guess I'm feeling a "generation gap". I am aligned to value and quality. I know wines. I cook daily. If you like lots of tomato paste, you will like the sauces here. Me, I make my mom's Sicilian recipe-- top ingredients, more nuance.
