So happy to have found this hidden gem! We came by for dinner over the weekend on a date night. The service was speedy and very friendly! We started with the cheesy garlic bread topped with tomatoes. The garlic flavor was great and the mozzarella was a good quality. The number of options on the menu is impressive! A great mix of traditional and new options to fit your taste. Stumbled on this place while intending to do some last minute grocery shopping at neighboring Frys store, Ray Rd Chandler. First time here. I don't like going into the grocery store hungry and had not eaten lunch it was about 4:30. The regular menu was a little more than I wanted as I still had a long drive home. Pretty cute local spot, not very crowded. I ordered my salad chopped, which they definitely got right, extra points for that. I don't like when Caesar salads come with massive chunks of lettuce so the chop was solid. Bruschetta was very very tasty. Lost a star at the pizza though, just really not impressed with the flavor. Love this place. . The food is amazing. Love the fact that they get their ingredients from the Olive Mill in Queen Creek, Az. The service was another great experience. Hard to say anything negative about this place. Was thinking it was 4 1/2 stars (of course that's not possible), but couldn't think of any reason it shouldn't be 5. So, I am rounding up and here we go.... Atmosphere: inside this evening was dimly lit, comfortable, warm feeling and homey. It's exceptionally clear that this place is not a chain, but more like being in a comfortable family home atmosphere. There is plenty of room between tables to feel like you're sitting at a private table with lots of personal space. Layout is open and spacious. Bar is separated from the dining room with freestanding dividers and plants so it's easy to have the experience of your choice, while still feeling comfortable and open. Service: The service here was outstanding. The servers all seemed to be young ladies who were all exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt. To be honest, they all had "ownership attitudes" as if they were all family members of the owners. For the 20 of us sitting on the patio, we were able to ask anyone passing by for anything, and they were all more than happy and willing to help. Each one always had a smile and a positive attitude. It was great! Another table had a puppy out on the patio that was super cute and it's awesome that Florencia's offers a puppy patio! Food: was super stoked to learn that they offer dairy free cheese on their pizza! I'm guessing in their pastas and salads also. It's rare and awesome to find this and sure makes it fantastic for those of us who can't do dairy (there were a couple of us). They also offer gluten-free options, not an issue for us, but really nice to know that they care about their customers enough to offer it. We had several different salads, they were all fantastic. We also ordered about eight large pizzas. Their sauce is outstanding! Crust was perfect, thin and flexible with a little chew and pull. Generous amounts of cheese and the perfect amount of toppings made these large, clearly 100% homemade, pizza is absolutely phenomenal! Two of us shared a large, non-dairy cheese Hawaiian pizza and it was excellent! Nice bar with daily drink specials all day and a good selection to choose from. Value: The value here at Florencia's is very good. They offer a small, medium and large pizzas, custom make your own or they have specials. They offer a variety of salads, pastas and a great appetizers at reasonable prices. Drink prices are not budget-busters and their drink specials run all day at great prices. Would I go back to Florencia's? Yes, absolutely! It's so great to have a well-run and comfortable, family owned and operated Italian restaurant in the heart of Ahwatukee. If you are anywhere even remotely close to this location, I highly recommend you stop in for what is sure to be an outstanding experience. read more

I would give it a 5, but the service can sometimes really suck. The pizza however, best in town 10/10! It's a very family friendly place, but because of that it can get pretty busy. If you aren't willing to wait the 20+ to be seated on a Friday night, you can also order takeout, which is just as good. Sometimes you might need to call more than once to get your call to go through, they're just that busy. But if you've been seated, it could take a good bit for your pizza to come out. One time I had a really bad experience, the kitchen messed up the order or something on a busy night, and the pizza had to be remade. Unfortunately, no communication was happening, so my family was waiting on it for almost an hour, if not more, for a pizza. I haven't had something like that happen again thankfully, but I just thought I should share. Still good pizza nonetheless, definitely try them if you can! read more

Absolutely wonderful. Their pizza is authentic hand tossed Italian style with a bubbly slightly crisp crust many people love. Their hand tossed is thin. Their THIN is even thinner. I imagine if you want a heartier crust you can simply ask for it your way. Toppings were great - period. We enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza which included pepperoni on it! We also had bruschetta which was hefty and a shock - nearly a meal in itself. The thick bread was draped in fresh cheese and the bread had a lovely texture to it. The chopped tomato topping was fresh and tasty. The bacon salad was great, the balsamic dressing is good enough that we saw people coming in just to buy a bottle of it. We will be back. One of THE BEST PIZZA places in town. Guess that's why they've been open for 20 years! Go now. I'd be shocked if you are not happy overall. Service was excellent too. The pizza and calzones are excellent, the salads are equally good. They have a great wine and beer selection. They have a little bar with a TV, and usually have a beer special. We have been to this location many times and never been disappointed. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is always served hot and is always very tasty. Our server was Maddie and she was a delight. Very efficient and pleasant with a wonderful smile. My wife and I shared a medium combination pizza. Went to dinner with family and friends. The service was as awesome as you would love it to be. The waitress Alexa was the best! We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the vegetarian pizza with zucchini and mushrooms it was very delicious with just the right amount of cheese on top. We also had the red wine, Modus Toscana 2016 Ruffino and Meiomi Piont Noir. Both were very smooth and I liked the Ruffino more. This place is definitely a great spot for family gatherings and get togethers. The staff makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.
