Went there today for my first time with my sister for pedis. On the plus side, the place was beautiful, big, clean, clearly very new. Relaxing music played throughout, tvs were big and new. There was a great polish selection, including some brand new collections from essie and opi. The massage lotion was kept in a warmer. Nice touch. However, the whole pedi lasted 20 minutes, the massage was short and more like a lotion rub, the foot file/pumice consisted of grazing two spots on each foot for two seconds, my cuticles weren't entirely trimmed, the scrub was more of a wipe and rinse. To top it off there was someone (presumably a staff member) sleeping on one of the manicure stations. The polish job was okay, a little sloppy in some spots but at least she painted all the way to the cuticle (a huge pet peeve of mine, not polishing all the way back). For the price ($30), I expect top notch service. In case you were wondering, my sister's pedi consisted of all the same complaints. Hope they do some tweaking so we can go back, because it really is beautiful and clean in there. Until then, probably wont be returning. read more

I'm super confused by all the negative reviews. Maybe it's because I Lucky if I can get even 2 to 3 mani/pedi's a year (also my nails are bitten down nubs and my feet aren't meant for anyone w a foot fetish...) with two small kids and everything that comes with that. I also lived in NYC for most of my adult life and am used to the craziness of the competition there bw salons (and their $25 mani/pedi specials). Maybe my expectations are abnormally low? Or maybe I go more for the relaxing experience instead of caring about polish lasting 2 weeks, a smudge or a bubble? Either way, I love this place. I've been 4 times in the last few years and each time was great. Their pedi chairs are awesome - ok there... I judge a mani place by its massage chairs. The ladies have always not only been nice and accommodating but have given awesome European pedis and my nubs have never looked better. I got all my cuticles removed and now I look like I actually have nails! The massage at the end is a sweet ending to a nice and relaxing experience. Full disclosure: i never go on weekends, only on slower weekdays which may be why it's been better? That's the only thing I can think of. Maybe stay away on busy weekends? read more

I started gong to this nail salon because someone recommended it to me. It's now been a few years. The actual physical space is clean and they provide a very relaxing atmosphere. The girls are all great although I have my favorite. It is a little expensive but I always look out for living social/groupon specials. Before I switched to Floris I went to a cheaper nail salon-- you get what you pay for. I've never had an issue with my manis or pedis here. Great place and worth a try. read more

I have a "regular" nail place but thought I'd try this one at some point since it's close to home. On two occasions I attempted to walk-in to get my nails done. Both times I was rudely turned away because I didn't have an appointment, meanwhile there was NOBODY inside. I happen to be a youngish -looking African American woman. I have no idea if that's what this was about, but I'll take the blame for not staying loyal to my nail place. I feel like they're trying to portray the place as something it's not. This salon is very clean and very elegant. That is where anything positive ends. Their customer service, as was noted in many other reviews, is abysmal. And, depending on who your technician is, the work is sub par. After a recent visit, the manager had to re-do my nails because there were streaks from inconsistent coverage all over them. But, the $30.00 mani/pedi is hard to beat, so I persevered and gave them another try. On my last visit (and I do mean LAST visit), my daughter and I had an appointment, and we were greeted by an incredibly RUDE and unprofessional woman who was very exasperated as she informed us that there was going to be a ten minute wait. When the wait turned into 20 minutes and counting, I tried to have a discussion with the woman who greeted us. She never apologized and only gave me excuses: the people before us were 15 minutes late, they were short staffed today, and the manager called out sick. It's almost funny, but not! This was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The technician talked on the phone the whole time she was doing my nails. No exaggeration. The polish was put on so thin it was like they didn't want to waste it on me. Never going back. Rude rude rude... I walked in to get a pedicure and the girl with glasses took a glance at me and asked me what do I want, I asked for a pedicure and she said we don't have time right now can you come back in 45 mins. So I said okay. Came back and a lady with red hair did my pedicure. She was more rude than then receptionist. She rushed the whole thing. She did a 10 min pedicure then a 5 min massage. She didn't bother to talk to me, only time she said something was when she demanded me to pay. "Pay now" that's what she said. She took my bag and put it in front of me! Then took me over to the dryer and left me sitting there. Good thing a younger girl saw that she was being rude and came over to put the drying drops on my toes and apologized for the other lady. More expensive than other area salons. Staff were rushed and seemed annoyed that we were there - even though we had made an appointment. They were particularly short with my 10 year old daughter and then told us they would normally charge full price at her age. It was an unpleasant experience and we do not plan to return. read more

I love Floris! Have been there twice, both with LivingSocial coupons. The place has a relaxing spa feel. Everything is new and clean, and all of the ladies who work there that I have talked to are pleasant and make you feel welcome. Amy did my nails today and she was great. Prices are maybe only slightly higher than some other places I've been to, but it's worth it. I like the little pampering details, like the heated towel they place behind you during a pedicure. I just had my second pedicure at the Horsham location, and I have to say, I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. I had the most pleasant experience, and Angie, who did my pedicure, was so friendly and skilled. Her leg/foot and shoulder massages are nothing short of amazing! As an added bonus, I happened to come in when they were having a winter special - 30% off a pedicure! At that steal, I went with one of the $60 pedicures - worth it! I went to Floris nails this morning about 11 o'clock. I had no appointment I just walked in and I asked for a manicure. My manicurist was a lady by the name of Lynn . I have been here a few times now and have had great experiences during each visit. They truly take their time and make sure to do a thorough job, especially on pedicures. With that being said, the services are a bit over-priced, and my first time here I did feel tricked into purchasing a more expensive pedicure service. With that being said, I don't get my nails done very often, so when I do I don't necessarily mind splurging when I know I'll be please with the end result. read more

I have been going to Floris Spa & Nail in Horsham for the last couple of years. I always found it to be relaxing, techs very nice and the whole experieince pleasant. Since Hannah left to go to the new location in North Wales, the place has gone downhill. I always loved being able to to stop in and perhaps wait a few minutes but always was treated to a manicure without an appt. Now, you have to book an appt. or they won't take you at all. The new manager (?) just sits and turns people away if they have no appointment. It's sad as it's always been my absolute favorite place to go and refer others. This is the first time I've written a negative review, but please pass on this nail salon. I spent an insane amount of money for a full set of crystal gel nails and was told that they would last three weeks before I needed to come in for a refill. Well, it's 1.5 weeks later and two nails have already cracked and two others have fallen off...I don't work in construction and I don't punch walls. I want to upgrade my review. To appreciate the facility and that each pedi is done within a plastic liner so you do not have to even consider fungal infections like I received from Abington Nails. I went to go and get a gel manicure and pedicure today and was told okay. Then I go to look at nail colors and rudely am told no manicure today only a pedicure. There was 3 employees working and one customer in there. The place was dead. They said they didn't have time bc they had a appointment. So rude as always at both locations. I came here because of a Living Social deal and i bought one for my friend so we do a little bonding. As a guy, this was my first mani and pedi, which was quite pleasant. This place is no doubt very aesthetically pleasing, however the experience as a whole is subpar. The technicians, especially the manager, are not very welcoming and warm. The experience felt very rushed and to make matters worse it cost $35.00 for a gel manicure... the most i have ever paid. (Most places charge no more than $25). I've been here twice. The first time I came I had a nice pedicure (aside from the fact they over heard my cousin and I talking about loving massage and charged us for extra massage without clarifying- I let this slide). BUT today "Sarah" did a crappy job on my gel manicure and blamed me! She didn't soak my nails in water at all or have me rinse my hands which I feel like is normal protocol anywhere I've ever had a gel manicure. When she was finished I noticed my gel smudging and not totally on the sides of my nails and she had the nerve to blame me for how I was holding my hands in the machine and said "I told you hold it like this!".... I just have to say.. the way she had the UV light was impossible to twist my arm in the position she wanted with the plexiglass in my way. She could've moved her machine closer to me and made it easy on me but instead she was rude and when I said I've never had a problem before she responded "mhm!" Before I could finish my sentence. then she had the nerve to ask for a tip on my card.. I've never had a bad gel manicure where it's smudged and messed up as I walked out anywhere. I am not one to typically write reviews, but the experience I had at Floris North Wales this weekend was an absolutely horrible experience so I felt the need to write one. I have been to the Horsham location two times before. Once when they first opened I had a horrible experience with a pedicure (my entire pedi as done in 15 minutes...total), and I gave them another try because they had just opened. The second experience at Horsham was decent, so I decided to give the North Wales location a try because it is closer to my house. Let me tell you, I will NEVER step foot in another Floris location. To start, I did not have a Groupon or Living Social, I was going in to pay full-price for my service. The salon is absolutely beautiful, spa-like, but everything else is AWFUL. I asked for a manicure - they did the whole thing in under 10 minutes...didn't bother cutting my cuticles, no lotion, and the polish job was HORRENDOUS. I have NEVER had a polish job as bad as this one. As my nails were drying, and I was looking at my nails, I noticed just how bad the polish job was. So, I asked the girl if she could use nail polish remover to get the polish off the skin surrounding my nails. She just looked at me as if she didn't understand (or chose not to understand what I was saying). I asked another girl, and she attempted to remove the polish off my skin around my nails, but it STILL looked extremely messy. So I got up and left. I ended up going to another nail salon I had used in the past to get my nails TOTALLY re-done because I had a party that evening that I originally wanted my nails done for. At the second salon (not Floris) that I went to, the nail tech jokingly said "did you try to do your nails yourself??" I had to explain I had an absolutely awful maniure at a different nail place. The nail tech at the second salon I visited COULD NOT believe I had paid for a manicure only a half hour before elsewhere. She had to totally refile, cut and buff my cuticles...it was as if my Floris manicure never even happened. It's a shame because the ambiance and look and feel of Floris is wonderful, but everything else is absolutely horrendous. I've also noticed I'm not the only one who feels this way. the place was decorated nice and the workers werent pleasant or nasty. The pedicure was done in less then 15 minutes, then the polish. For the manicure, the polish was peeling off the next day already and it's not like i was home doing things, i was sitting in a hotel. Also, i paid extra for a flower design on each ring finger and it looked like a kid did it, it was embarrassing, I had to take polish off as soon as i got home. It wasn't cheap either. :( read more

The salon is beautiful, clean, strictly follows COVID protocols, and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, I felt like there was a very strong up-sell both times I have been there in the last few months. The technician performs a ridiculous "foot analysis" and then strongly suggests higher-priced pedicures (starting at $60 & up), advising more like a podiatrist than a nail salon technician. She strongly advocated for the higher-end pedicures with their additional lotions and hot rocks; however, all I wanted was the basic $30 pedicure (file and paint the nails). She had a very cleverly worded and well rehearsed sales spiel and it's obvious that she was angling for the higher end choices. I compromised and settled for the $45 pedicure, but it was nothing special. The first time it happened I just chalked it up to my being a new client; the next time it happened I realized that this is her hustle and I won't be returning. read more

Floris Nails in Bryn Mawr- It's a very nice space...... unfortunately a negative experience! There was NO ONE in the salon and they asked me if I had an appointment and weren't sure they could take me? No one else came into the salon the entire time- therefore I didn't understand the difficulty getting an appointment. But they finally seemed to "fit us in". However, it seemed to irritate them as they did not speak at all the entire time. When we ( I took a friend) tried to engage in some friendly conversation, they gave one word answers and did not make any eye contact or speak.They obviously speak and understand English, as they seemed to be listening to my friend's conversation. Very rude people. The manicure/pedicure took and hour and a half! The technician was rough and was not careful with cutting. I had a half hearted 2 minute massage to neck post nails. Pathetic effort. I gave a tip ( call me crazy) and was never even thanked. It was as if the nail technicians wanted to be left alone and did not want anyone to come into the salon- very weird vibe. I hope the manager looks into this review as it is a new business and looks like a lot of funds were put into making the place beautiful. There's one plus about this salon. It is beautiful inside and gives off a serene vibe. However,this place is ridiculously overpriced. I caused my nail to peel after a morning of heavy shoveling to dig my car out of the snow a/b a week and a half ago. It drives me absolutely insane to have chipped nail polish, so I was in a frenzy to find someplace to fix the small peel on my nail. I work right around the corner from here, so this was the logical stop. I wear gel manicures, which are always more expensive than regular manis, but $5 to repaint ONE nail is absolutely insane.The tech saw the disbelief on my face when she told me the price (which she did beforehand), but I was in such a rush that I allowed her to repair the polish anyhow. She then proceeded to talk about how a lot of the clients comment about how much higher the prices are around here than they are at other salons. Tuh! Ya think? To top it off, she unevenly filed my nail, which I didn't observe until the nail finished drying. By that time, I was so perturbed that I kindly collected my things, tipped her & moved along on my way. My advice? Skip over this place unless you're in the tightest of binds. read more

I have gotten pedicures at other locations, so this was my first pedicure at Horsham location (I have done my Manicure here), however I walked into this location on July 27, in a. Effort to attend a very very special event on Saturday, July 28th out of town. I was serviced by an older technician who was impolite to begin with, honestly if I wasn't so pressed for time, I would have walked out, but I stayed, she was unprofessional and lacked taking healthy precautions. As she started my pedicure she kept wiping her nose with her hands then kept touching my feet, after the Third time I had to ask her if she was sick because I didn't want her doing my pedicure if she were, so only at that time did she take a mask and put it on! She painted my toes like a 5 year old and seemed annoyed when I told her the painting was sloppy, after the painting, she told me where to sit without telling me I needed to put my feet at the bottom, I sat there for 10 minutes, before another tech came over to tell me what I had to do, I was not able to speak to anyone as there were NO managers around, overall I was taken for $45 dollars. I would NEVER recommend this location for pedicures EVER! Good manicures but very very disappointed in my recent visit. I have gone to Florida Nails for pedicures at least a dozen times. Some are better than others, but always a good job. Not today, had an appointment but had to wait. That's fine, but person doing my pedicure hurt me not once but twice!! Second time, I pulled away a little and said that hurt. Didn't say a thing, then finally said sorry. Not happy with Lynn. Horrible, all I can say. I needed a pedicure and Groupon was offering me a $10 bonus. So u quickly located a nearby nail salon. I'm so glad I only spent $9.00 with my Groupon because that was the worst pedicure ever. The techician Lynn, was horrible. She filled the bath and I soaked my feet for a minute before she pulled one foot out. I really tried nor to complain but her leg massage hurt my shins and I asked her to move on to my heels, I truly don't tjink she understood English because she just kept rubbing the same spot and watched tv above my head until her timer dinged. She understood me when it came time to pay though, she stood over me expecting a tip, as I placed my phone away from paying with my Groupon. then had the nerve to bring me a paper receipt as if I needed to know how much the service was, I'll never go back. I had the European Spa Pedicure today from a voucher off of LivingSocial. I made an appointment to ensure that I would have a spot. When I arrived, I was greeted a little hurriedly, but nicely. I was taken before the other individuals who arrived with me who were just walk-ins. One of my biggest pet-peeves is prearranging your arrival and then having to wait for people who didn't make an appointment. So, the first encounter made me happy. I walked over to pick out my nail polish from their huge display. All polishes were labeled as to what use they were for, so, that helped, too. After I picked my polish, I had a seat and soaked my feet while getting a massage from the chair. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was nicer than the other nail salons that do offer less expensive services. I sat for maybe 5 minutes before Amy came to help me, even though they were very busy. She was very friendly and made sure that everything was to my liking. The hot stone massage was very enjoyable (I have never had one before). She had me check my polished toes after she was finished to make sure that I liked how they looked. While I sat waiting for them to dry, I got an upper back and neck massage, which was great. I handed Amy my voucher before the pedicure and received a receipt when at the drying station for the original price minus the voucher for a total of zero and a customer card to fill out on my return to get a free massage or something of my choosing when I reach 10 trips. One thing I wasn't too happy about was having my flip-flops put on before the polish was added. They were just Old Navy flip-flops, but I don't want polish on them. It has happened to me before with more expensive sandals at the nail salon in the Willow Grove Mall. I was fine with it after I inspected my flip-flops and discovered no nail polish got on them. Overall, it isn't the best place I have ever been to and it isn't the worst place I have ever been to. I usually go to higher end spas to get my pedicures, so it is a little more luxurious and expensive. I would defiantly recommend going to Floris if you would like a pedicure that is a step up from the average nail salon. I'm sorry other individuals did not have as good of an experience as I had. I think Floris Nails is the greatest nail salon I have ever been too...Everything about them is perfect....Everything is clean, efficient and friendly...I like that they never push you to add things on....They always have a coupon you can use....Hannah the manager is fantastic...All the girls are wonderful....Best massage...Best chairs and the decor is the prettiest around....Kyle makes your shoulders feel great while you are drying....Can't say enough...I have had many pedis and manis and recently tried a facial with Hannah...If you had a bad time you must have been in a bad mood....Go back and give it another go... read more

1/26/2013- First time here was kind of hesitant since I read the reviews. The salon was clean and busy when I arrived.My appt was for 430, Julia came up to greet me and showed me to her chair. She was pleasant to speak with and she did and excellent job. I was extremely happy with her service. Then I had an appt for a Swedish massage. I'm sorry I can't remember the woman's name but she was the manager and the licensed massage therapist. Let me tell you it was the best $80.00 I ever spent!!! sure you can go to a fancy Spa and have a true spa experience (I've been to some of the best ) but this was melting. Ladies you know what I mean... She found knots I had no idea existed and she was wonderful . I am only visiting the area coming around a few weeks at a time but I am coming back. My next visit to Horsham is in February just in time for my next fills and I will be coming back. I highly recommend this spa. Been here a couple times and only went today as it was open on a Sunday. Everyone else but me got a massage while their nails were drying and some I noticed had extra TLC while others got the once over. Woman who did my nails seemed more interested in "me pay now" than anything else. Very pushy and wanting to get onto next customer. She had not even brought my bag over to me so I could pay! When I made an appointment, I was told that the time I wanted was booked but when I said I could not come today then, all of a sudden, there was availability but when I got there and had my pedicure, I never felt more rushed. read more
