Umm... not my cup of tea. The French toast with cream cheese and marmalade tasted too oily and lack eggs. Bread was stale tasting as well... Might be good for hangovers. Came in for a quick business and somehow the reviews were not in line with the food. Service was totally fine but I ordered the chorizo and egg and the egg was brown from overcooking which meant the chorizo was burned beyond repair. Your menu is ridiculously expansive. I'm not even mad that my food came out so bad that I didn't pay for it- I'm more upset you expect your cooks to know a menu with so many items. Reduce it. Came here for breakfast yesterday morning. I really appreciated the very welcoming and friendly staff. Usually when my bf and I go to eat places we feel they treat us different because we look young (and maybe don't dress the nicest when we go out lol) but Flo's didn't give us that feeling at all. We had a great server named Martin who was just the right amount of attentive. All of our food came out hot and my boyfriends steak actually came out medium rare as he ordered, which is kind of rare when it comes to breakfast spots. We left very full and satisfied. read more

I've been coming here every other Sunday morning for breakfast these past several weeks. This place is a great, it's welcoming, the breakfast is like home cooking. The ambience is calm and relaxing. The servers are like old friends, greeting and conversing. It's a great experience. It's like everybody knows everybody. My friend introduced me to this place about a year ago, and we keep bringing more people to experience it. The food in this place is overwhelmingly good at a price you cannot beat. The service couldn't be better. Every employee that works here makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world every time you go in. Flo's did not disappoint, and was impressed with the quality of the service and menu ( even though they didn't have pictures jk it's okay). We wanted to check out a new place for breakfast since we just moved to the area. We were seated quickly and greeted immediately. The workers were all very nice too, you can tell they have many return customers as We kept hearing them refer to the customers by name. Overall, the menu looked good. This is an old country cafe/diner where you see a lot of "regulars" coming in. The menu reminded me of some old favorites I ate as a kid. I had the corned beef has with eggs and grits. For what it is, Flo's is fine. I've been here a few times for breakfast while visiting family, but it's not really anything to write home about. A step above Denny's or Coco's. I'd much rather go to Little Green Onion or even Kountry Folks. It is cheap though, with a lot of old folk, so maybe it's a good place to bring the grandparents. I don't think I'd want to come here for any meal besides breakfast. Pros: -Cheap. -Edible. Cons: -Comparable to Denny's. read more

For starters I'm lactose intolerant and asked for milk substitutes for my coffee which they don't have. I asked for egg whites only which they also don't do or have. How do you run a restaurant with no substitution or choices.....? People with allergies or restricted diets-- this is not the place for you. My husband just ended up eating and I had a glass of orange juice, experience sucked-- I don't recommend this place and obviously won't be back. We didn't get sick from anything so giving them 2 stars. read more

Mediocre is the perfect description of this diner. Food and service are both good, nothing to go home raving to your mamma about though. We came here for breakfast and ordered a breakfast burrito and I opted for my favorite Country Fried Steak. Let me get past the painful revelation, fiance admitted that breakfast burrito must be the worst burrito he's ever consumed. He can be a harsh food critique, especially since he's been spoiled woth fantastic home cooking. But his rating was in fact spot on. The sausage in the burrito tasted like the bits and pieces of meat scraped off the cooking pan. The other composition of the burrito disappointed as well, with overcooked eggs and little taste. The salsa was actually tasty and perhaps incorporating the salsa within the burrito may increase the overall taste. My CFS was disappointing. The gravy itself was okay, but the quality of meat was poor. Highest recommendation for this restaurant would be to invest in higher quality meats rather than skimping out. This change will certainly elevate the overall dining experience. So, if the food was less than average...why the extra star. Service! The staff are highly attentive and provide that friendly, diner vibe. There are many old timers here and all the staff have built nice relations with them. It definitely has a nice feel here, just the food needs elevating. read more

Walk in, wait to be seated, or sit yourself at the bar for the best homestyle food, or try one of the daily specials if you're into trying new things. I promise, you will not be disappointed. Haven't been in a while, you can count on me coming in again soon. Often guests will see the owners walking to tables, asking about their food, and also their lives. The staff has been mostly the same for the few years I've been dining here. That says a lot, to someone who has worked waiting tables for jobs that appeared promising, but weren't what they seemed to be. I live locally and this restaurant is in the same shopping center as my children's dentist so we decided to check it out. We have now been twice, and we're super impressed both times. I can see how there would be a wait during peak times, but we did not have to wait either time we visited. I saw some other reviews complain about the decor, but I actually like it. It's kind of like a time machine and I care more about the food and service than the decor. The service is fantastic, very friendly, attentive staff. We have two toddlers and their kids menu is awesome! The menu has a good variety, the prices are amazing, and the portions are huge! The food was delicious both times and the dessert is heavenly. We are a young(ish) family of 4, and I also saw some other reviews mention that the clientele is older, but those are the people you want to see because they are often harder to impress. I REALLY love this place and highly recommend it if you are local or in the area. You won't be disappointed. read more
