This place was nice. My daughter, husband and myself came here after church. It was nice abd fresh. Lots of eye candy. We waited a bit it was a little cold outside . Service was great, when though I heard the waitress daybthey were short 3 waiters they did awesome. Our server was attentive and recommend the pablano soup was delicious! I got club sandwiches and soup, my daughter got a good old fashion cheeseburger meal and hubby got chicken cesar salad. My sandwiches were delicious I love club sandwiches and my husband salad was sooooo good. The dressing was creamy and croutons were so crunchy. I would be back. I was excited to see that Flabob Airport Cafe is now being managed by the same owner of the Riverside Airport cafe because I really like that place . I came here for breakfast and noticed a few differences. There are booths here but it looks like they haven't been updated as the seat vinyl was peeling and had exposed fluff in some areas. Granted I was told to seat myself, but I noticed that in the available window seat booths I wanted to sit in .The seat also had food crumbs on it from the previous customer. Two breakfasts came to $21 and $18 each. One was an omelette with pancakes and fruit, and another was a croissant breakfast sandwich with hash browns.The omelette came out after the pancakes,but was piping hot. The pancakes had a soft middle with crispy sides. For drinks we ordered one water and one orange juice. On the menu the juice was priced at $4.75 .On the bill I was charged $6 for a glass of juice and there were no refills offered or given which would have made me reconsider. read more

Our family went on Saturday to try and enjoy watching the planes and enjoy lunch. Sadly, most all of our burgers were way over salted. My French Dip was not as described (I think) I thought it said it had cheese and other things but it was meat and bread only. I'll just say the Pacifico and the Tater Tots were good. Disappointing. Actually, I would've rated our meal five stars. But when I asked my husband he said he would rate everything four stars. I asked him why? He responded that there's always room for improvement. Cannot tell you about the food or even coffee, we never got any... yes, the service was that bad. Though we were seated rather quickly and menus sat on the table... we watched the girl wiping off menus rather than asking what we wanted to drink... we watched her for more than 10 minutes... and no one came to offer anything... This is a cute little spot that I've been meaning to try for a while. It was really quiet for lunch this Saturday. The staff was friendly and helpful with food choices for a party of 4. Their Turkey, Ham and Bacon sandwich on sourdough with a side of Coleslaw was really tasty. But isn't everything better with bacon?! I love a sweet coleslaw and this one was delicious. My hubby said the Burger was pretty good but the fries were limp and just okay. He said he would ask for extra crispy next time. My friends got the Turkey sandwich with peaches and the BLT with Avocado and cottage cheese. Both agreed the sandwiches were good, but it's a hard pass on the cottage cheese. My husband did notice the men's bathroom had no paper goods in it at all. While we were there the place emptied out and they started packing things up. Guess that was our cue to leave! We went back to the old, new FAC and my favorite breakfast burrito. This Place was bustling for a Thursday morning. Two servers handled the room with cheer and activity. I actually saw a plane take off! Busy or not, service was excellent. The coffee came hot, quick and fresh. Decaf and regular. My wife had eggs, whole wheat toast and sausage patties. It came with a side and she picked fresh fruit. I added chorizo to my burrito ($3) and man it packed a flavor punch. Just a little on the greasy side that absorbed into the shredded hash browns. Some fat equals flavor and the chorizo was just right. Melted cheese inside. The eggs were soft scrambled to the T. I am writing this review just after finishing the second half of breakfast for dinner. The flour tortilla held up well even after I added fresh, chunky salsa, and reheating. $50 breakfast is hard to stretch into value, but today the food, service and upbeat vibe made it worthwhile. We need more airport diners like this. Flabob Airport Cafe is okay diner food on a good budget in a cool little airport with indoor and outdoor seating. When I came here, I sat in a booth inside and enjoyed all the different airplane memorabilia. Service was fast and hospitable. I had a tuna melt and I thought it was delicious. Just what you'd expect from a diner tuna melt; it even came with a side of coleslaw and french fries. One sandwich with all the sides was super filling. Awesome little place with really good food. We arrived for a really late breakfast... And I noticed an item on the menu that says it's for veterans and seniors and it is SOS! I jumped on that offer. It was ground beef in a gravy layered over toast and it came with eggs. I ate my SOS so fast I forgot to take a picture, but it was delicious! My boyfriend had chorizo and eggs, the tortillas, rice, and beans. It was delicious, and the portions were very large. He needed a take home box. I'm a sucker for finding hidden places to eat. Flavor Airport Cafe is located in Jurupa Valley, CA and if you're not a local you probably won't know it exists. It's definitely worth seeking out. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially if you are an aircraft enthusiast. We sat indoors but they have a cute outdoor dinning area that faces the airfield. I will definitely be dining outdoors on our next visit. They only serve breakfast and lunch between the hours of 7:00a-3:00pm. The staff if welcoming and service is fantastic. There is also a small playground for the kids to play, scenic backdrops to take pictures in front of, and many other surrounding small outdoor sites to see. The restaurant was very neat and clean, with new outdoor patio furniture on the deck where we decided to eat. The food and service was top notch. There was a small piece of hair in my food. I just took it off. The food itself wasn't bad, but the prices are pretty steep here for basic diner breakfast food. Portions are fine. But the O'Brien potatoes are mostly burnt and tasteless just mixed with onions and bell peppers. The place itself is cool, you can sit outside and watch planes take off. We have been tenants at Flabob for almost 40 years, restaurant owners have come and gone, the restaurant has always been adequate. I would like to say it's a shame there is not 10 stars in the review! The place is clean. They brought in people to dig in and clean, clean, clean! When you enter there are happy people working there and I counted 10! And busy? Last Saturday I counted 40 cars in the parking lot. The food is off the hook! Best ever! Leimomo had taken the Riverside Airport Cafe from a hole in the wall to a Riverside hotspot for cafe dining and will do the same for Flabob. As you read the reviews be reminded they reopened in November under the same name Flabob Airport Cafe so the older poor reviews don't count. Also the outside dining looks so inviting now, big Yellow umbrellas, a great place to have a Birthday party and who doesn't like to watch planes! Flabob Airport has really grown in the past few years with a great program director Nina and has a lot to offer youth interested in Aviation, we are working on opening up several museums on the field. All in all this cafe has really enhanced Flabob and is only going to get better, I give it 11 stars! read more

AT LAST!!! We used to come here often, but the service and food kept spiraling down. Not to mention the dust. We were driving over to RAC in Riverside for the past few years until.........yes...Flabob was bought up by the Riverside RAC owner. Our first visit.....same decor, yet so much cleaner. The women were incredibly friendly and set out to give you a super experience. The food comes out hot, together and satisfying! We are so thrilled to have Flabob back to a sweet cafe. The history it carries is not well known,which we hope will change. We've lived here 40+ years and are so proud to see people create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all. My first experience wasn't the best as everything we wanted they didn't have so it was a bit frustrating but we got through it. I had the steak fajitas the steak was so dry, thin and the tortillas weren't heated up properly so they crumbled apart. My daughter had the chicken fingers and fries that we ended up sharing as that was delicious. My whole family frequents this place so I had high expectations that feel short and I love places like this so I will give it another shot. We have started a trend where we have gone to new places for breakfast on my day off. I really wanted to go to Airport Cafe in Pomona, but they were closed Monday. We opted for Flabob since it was by the house. Service was good, food was good, it was a tad eerie, since its an older building, but still had lots of quotes on the walls and windows, as well as older airplane artifacts...Nothing to write home about. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not. Maybe next time I'll try their lunch menu. Nice little playground outside with an old airplane, that was pretty cool. The food are ok-ok. I had breakfast burrito. The meat (chorizo) is overcooked and very dry. I asked no cheese because waitress said that they have only American or Swiss. -- that's odd for Mexican food. My husband order breakfast - sausage patties and usual like egg, hashed potatoes, and toasts. He is not happy with patties because they were too thin and very overcooked. However we will come back to try their lunch not breakfast. We saw some people eat but didn't finish. Too much leftovers. Does it tell us that breakfast are not great ?? And elder woman complained about her food too. Maybe breakfast need to be improve ? read more
