Great find in downtown Grand Ledge! First, they serve Madcap coffee which is always a plus in my book, but the real star of the show is the baked goods. WOW! I put myself in a sugar coma trying a couple things. The Bagels are especially good. The service is super personal. What a great find for gluten free in Grand Ledge! Wednesday is Wheatless! Check out the Facebook page to see what they have for the day. If you call ahead they will set things aside for you . They have gluten free wraps for their sandwiches and even grill them! Soooo good! A word of caution, if you do stop for lunch or pastries you will want to keep Coming back! The staff are amazing and friendly and the owner is super kind! Such a great little place!!!! read more

This Grand Ledge Bakery has been nominated for "Best Bakery in Lansing" and surrounding area on the MLive.com website. Today was my first visit. As soon as we stepped inside you find a small bakery with delicious items to choose from. We were quickly greeted by the owner and offered ideas for our weekend pastries. My wife and I both chose bagels. I had the pepperoni pizza bagel and she had the everything bagel. The owner toasted them and we enjoyed them inside the store. The bakery is very busy and will run out of popular selections like ham and cheese croissant, raspberry bars, and scones. I can see why Flour Child Bakery was a landslide winner with over 52% of the vote. Great owners, excellent bakery selection, and staff who make sure you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. I highly recommend and will definitely return. Trust. read more

I just moved to Grand Ledge so I was delighted to find this bakery! Today was my first visit and the customer service was outstanding, especially considering it was the cashiers first day. I was in the mood for something savory, so I picked the garlic herb and cheese croissant, as well as the jalapeño cheddar bagel. OH. MY. GOSH! They were phenomenal! The quality of this bakery is equivalent to bakeries I visited in Paris! Major plus: it is inexpensive! I will be coming back often. read more

Charming and delicious! We were driving across the state and found Flour Child Bakery on Yelp. We stopped in for lunch and a treat. The building is quaint and colorful. The staff are friendly and always cleaning. The quiches were fresh and tasty. They also have baked donuts and croissants they make there. We are glad we stopped in and have a half dozen cookies to eat at home! read more

We moved to Grand Ledge in August and I was excited to finally try Flour Child. I've only been a couple times but so far I love it. The ABC bagel with the savory cream cheese option is my favorite so far. I've had a few other goodies that were gifted to my BF and I from there, and they were also delicious. The staff has been friendly, patient and helpful each time I've been in. We can't wait to try even more from Flour Child. read more

This bakery has so many amazing choices that are all so delicious and very reasonably priced. 100% recommend.

All their pastries are delicious. Their bagels are terrific. Most bagels are gone by 11AM. It is one of the gems in Grand Ledge.

So glad this little gem came to town. Grand Ledge really needed this. Everything is fantastic. Get there early, they sell out.

You know you've found a good place when they have a hard time keeping items on the shelves! I've tried Flour Child's bagels, sticky buns (AMAZING), cinnamon rolls, and the chocolate croissants are the BEST. Plus they serve Bloom Coffee from Old Town. Always something fun and unique... Everything I have ever tried is super delicious...I absolutely looooove the bagels and croissants in particular. You do have to get there early though, because some items can sell out quickly--because they are so good. read more

A co-worker brought in some goodies to share and they were delicious! My husband and I went in recently for our first time and loved it! The store is super cute! A co-worker brought bagels into work one day and they were so good!! So my husband and I finally got to visit and we're so happy we did. Their bagels are so good and have a huge selection of flavors. We also tried the cinnamon bites, chocolate croissant, elephant ear, and chocolate chunk cookie and they were all great. The elephant ear was our favorite.
