This store is soooo cute! Adorable and unique succulents and a Bunch of different colored and shaped vases as well as blown glass with wooden pieces to hold up the vase. Just beautiful works of art for one's plants! The lady in the shop was helping two other people and greeted everyone as they walked in. The prices were normal, although the blown glass vases were around $65, but they're also one of a kind. I will definitely be back! read more

This is an adorable shop in Petaluma that has a focus on plants but also features crystals, jewelry, and decorative items. The staff is very helpful-they gave me some tips on an air plant I had at home. They're very knowledgeable on houseplants and will make recommendations for the space and light you have. Even though plants are their main product, both times I've been here, it's been crystals and Christmas decorations that have gone home with me. Just before Christmas I purchased some adorable woodland themed ornaments. They also were giving out 15% off coupons for January. This shop, in downtown Petaluma is so calming to walk in and browse. So much green! I love it! Another day, another beautiful and fun plant (& gift) shop! I popped in mostly just to browse but then remembered that I needed a planter pot. Plants and pots seem to be my theme lately and I'm ok with it. This cozy and inviting space is filled with indoor plants and pots of various sizes. Make sure you look high and low so you don't miss anything! The friendly staff approached me to assist, and helped me measure to find just the right size. I took home another pot, a clean matte-finish, white ceramic and it's the perfect replacement pot for my existing snake plant. Thank you Flourish Team! Without a doubt the most unexpected, BEYOND amazing experience. I grew up in the city, never exposed to caring for plants or even having a real yard. I had two plants that were left behind from someone Beyond significant to me. They passed away. These plants dying, meant more to me than one can imagine. My duty was to keep these plants alive and was failing. In a panic, grief stricken i called and Devon answered the phone. She got me out of a funk and said JUST COME IN BRING THE PLANTS! Dev was literally at the door and said 'come in we were waiting for you!" Omg the love this girl showed me!!! She literally got me out of my bed on a NEW FOUND mission. When she said on the phone "i feel you need help, I WANT to help you! JUST COME IN" Just those words alone,I CRIED! Got me to kick my blankets off. Little did i know, i would be welcomed, understood, and educated!!!! I came and was embraced and greeted by Dev and then Trin. they began to coach me in how to care for these plants. I can not believe Trin went above and beyond giving me a crash course in care taking. I am so moved by the way i was treated. They can feel how important this was to me knowing NOTHING and thinking i had ruined the plants. I literally was quizzed, i was taught hands on how to trim, I was going LIVE with scissors in hand and DID IT! Did a practice trim! Was taught HOW TO and LIVE practiced watering and fertilizing in real time! The passion these ladies have is undeniable. It is beyond a "store clerk". These are like Garden angels. Trin spent so much time with me. I love how she had me "say it back" to her the plan to keep these guys going!!! Her knowledge and compassion is PRICELESS. I don't know how to express what a difference she made in my life that day. I felt like i had a coach! Trin, GOD BLESS YOU GIRL! you are THE REAL DEAL! Dev, your compassionate words got me to MOVE and get in that car! I feel confident now. words cant explain the gratitude i have. Trins knowledge and passion went beyond my expectations. her compassion brightened my spirts as i was covered in blankets at home before i came in. She even walked me to my car and helped me pack my babies safely!!! I love how she understood how meaningful these plants are and the importance of keeping them alive in honor of my Loved one. They went from keeling over plants, to NEW LIFE and now decorated with stones and crystals. Every time I'm in downtown Petaluma I have to stop by Flourish. I wish I could buy all the plants! The customer service is great as my mom and I shopped. They are knowledgeable about each plant and provide a care card. I bought a monstera there and I can't wait to see it grow. My other plant from flourish is well...flourishing in my home already. I was walking around downtown Petaluma with my sister when we saw this cute little shop! It felt like I was walking through a white girl's instagram post. There were countless varieties of plants, pots, artwork, etc. available for purchase! The plants were in perfect condition and it looks like none of them were neglected at all. We hired Flourish to come work with us to build Terrariums for a team building exercise. We had a company barbecue with spouses and this workshop during the party was a great way to have everyone mingle and chat with each other. We have many new people so it took some pressure off to be able to create and build together. Brandi and her staff were incredibly professional and experienced in leading our group in using the materials and taking care of the plants. We even had a few young kids and they adapted aspects of the workshop so that everyone could participate we highly recommend working with Flourish. read more

I LOVE this store! I am not much of a plant person, or I wasn't, but now that I found this store, I have multiple gorgeous plants that I bought at Florish. They always give us a small card with directions which makes my plant care much easier. My previous plants never lasted long but all plants I bought here are still alive and thriving! This is a real accomplishment for me. Not to mention that they have the most beautifully strange, in a very good way, plants I have ever seen. The owner, Brandi, is so great! She hosted a private birthday terrarium workshop at her store after hours for me and it was a blast! We had seven gals and all got to make a beautiful terrarium with succulents- and she took the time to teach us the proper car and maintenance of them too. If you are looking for a great way to celebrate a birthday, bridal shower, business party.... whatever... it's such a unique experience and now I have a new found love for plants! Her store is the best! It's hard to find ethically sourced boutique gifts and bar ware at reasonable prices- especially in Sonoma County!! I have gotten some great things here such as plants and plant holders but quality can occasisionally be poor, such as the painted baskets. They could also use improvement in the customer service department. I have experienced what someone else said below about the staff being unwelcoming. There's also a strict 2 week return policy, even for defective items, even during the pandemic, which seems short-sighted becuase I love to support local businesses and I would give them more business if they were more flexible and accommodating of customers. read more
