Everything was great! I really like the sauce in the forbidden rice bowl. I've heard a lot of good things about the mac & cheese, and I really enjoyed it. I ordered online and i love how they have an area to just pick up your order. It makes it very fast and convenient! I'll definitely be back to try more things

Good meal with lovely outdoor seating. Our dog was allowed on the patio and both of my kids ate a lot of their meals (which is rare for the younger one). Will be back again!

This place not only has great food, but an absolutely wonderful ambience. It's bright and cheerful and immediately puts guests in a good mood when they arrive. I love the bright yellow, white and green color scheme-it's happy and earthy at the same time. You order at the counter and then your food is delivered to your table. It's not a long wait, especially knowing that everything is made fresh-or at least prepared on demand. I enjoyed a salad with a tangy dressing while my dining partner had a few different sides, including the mashed potatoes, which I took many bites of. Those things were probably not super healthy, but OMG were they tasty! It was worth the drive from the southwest side of the valley to come experience Flower Child. Now I'm converted.

First time to this Utah location. We enjoyed the green chile queso & tortilla chips which were so good! Great flavor and a nice addition to our main entrees. For entrees, we had the turkey avo cobb salad and the Mother Earth bowl. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfect portions. Great ambiance and customer service! We'll be back to try more on the menu!

Having been to Flower Child many times in Phoenix it makes me so happy to have one in Utah! I wish this state had more healthy fast casual restaurant concepts like this. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you. The restaurant is open and bright, with lots of space. I ordered an entree where you pick a protein and two sides. I had chicken with smashed gold potatoes and roasted broccoli. This is yummy comfort food for me. The chicken is simply made but good. The potatoes were creamy and the broccoli was roasted and topped with lemon, parmesan and breas crumbs. It's a huge serving. My daughter ordered from the same section of the menu and got three sides. She had mac and cheese, brussels sprouts and roasted vegetables. She said everything was very good and she had a massive serving as well. This will be our go to lunch spot when in the area from now on!

Red Chile Glazed Sweet Potato - yummy, but small portion

I've been to flower child in Arizona several times, so I knew what to expect. The food is fresh, healthy, and flavorful! The only thing that I noticed was the portion sizes have gotten smaller, which is a bummer. We ordered: Mother Earth bowl, add salmon. Loved all the components of this bowl, but just wanted more, small portions of everything. Salmon was a decent size. Chicken and shrimp meatballs in curry. These were delicious but the little side fennel yogurt salad didn't really mix well with the curry though. Red chili glazed sweet potatoes- delicious flavor! Asparagus white bean side salad- yummy Kung pow cauliflower- we loved this again great flavor. The sides are great, just wish they were a tad bigger. We will definitely be back to try more menu items!

I had seen this place being built and was excited to try it. I knew I had to go with girlfriends, because my husband wouldn't go for this right away (he has a hard time exploring outside of his food comfort zone at times). The construction in the shopping center made it hard to tell when it opened, but I was willing to wait. Of course it took longer for me to actually make it in. My best friend even tried one in Oklahoma and said it was awesome! Well, I got to try it today and treated my friend out as she's moving back home to India. It accommodated both of our nutrition choices (she's vegetarian), and we both enjoyed our food! I went with the Forbidden Rice with steak , and she chose her vegetarian options as a meal. Oh, and their brownie was so decadent- the cacao nibs brought the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. The decor and vibe just makes me happy! Lots of positive vibes too! Even the bathrooms are decorated with floral patterns. The staff was so kind and very helpful. We came for dinner towards the end of the night, so it wasn't too crazy busy compared to what I believe prime hours would be. I'm so glad I finally got to try it! This may be one of my new go tos for healthy food!

The noise level in here is excessive. The food is overwhelmingly salty, to the point where if we weren't extremely hungry and it wasn't a birthday celebration, we would have requested a refund and gone elsewhere. Not only was my soup and salad salty, but everyone's food was as well. We were unable to determine why all of our food was excessively salty, and it was impossible to ask anyone due to the chaotic and fast food-like nature of this establishment. Upon arrival, you'll place your order at the counter, select a table, and take your seat. Understand that while food is brought to your table, this concludes staff interactions, as the establishment does not offer traditional restaurant-style table service. As a result, if you're looking for a celebratory restaurant to celebrate a birthday, this is not a suitable choice. I would choose again.

The restaurant and check in counter.

This restaurant is such a gem! It's decorated beautifully inside. It looks so fresh and clean. The food was also very fresh and tasty. The service was quick. You order the counter they give you a number and then they serve you at your table. Or you could just get it to go. It's a very efficient place. I can't wait to go back there again.

This place was fantastic. The food tastes fresh and flavorful, the people working there are delightful, and the menu gives you a lot of options. Inside it was a bit cold and loud, but I still had a great experience. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

I'm so excited and happy we have a Flower Child in Utah!!! We went an hour before close on a Saturday night. Service was great and quick. The entire vibe is amazing, like other locations in other states. I love all the decor and the music. I kept Shazamming the songs. Perfect vibe!! I ordered Mother Earth and added tofu. So freaking yummy, healthy and satisfying!! I love tofu and eat it regularly and however they look it is . I will probably go get another order today!!

I was recently in TX and had a quick meeting inside of Flower Child. Unfortunately we did only eat there, but everything looked delicious and I was envious that we do not have a Flower Child in UT. I was perusing through my social media and what new places to try and was super excited to see that I had saved Flower Child, IN UT. Needless to say this was the place I chose for my birthday lunch with my friend. I had the flying avocado wrap and my friend had the chicken yakisoba noodles. We also split an olive oils lemon cake and everything as delicious. We didn't notice the sweet potato fries on the menu or we would have tried those as well. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and I would 100% recommend.

Everything was super speedy and pleasant and the decor was very nice, clean, and modern too. They also have healthier, clean options that are flavorful and delicious. Portion sizes were generous and everything was cooked really well. They got a well-oiled machine working here. I know it's a franchise and I haven't been to other locations, but this one was great.

All of our food was incredible. The bowls were a good portion size, reasonable prices, full of fresh ingredients, and had great flavor. The Brazilian cheese bread was so good. We loved that they had dairy free nice cream and the olive oil pistachio Sunday was so rich and balanced. My only critiques are that I didn't see a kids menu, so we spent more than we'd like to spend on the baked chicken bites and two sides of rice. Also it'd be way more inclusive if single stall restrooms weren't gendered.

We started off with drinks, a glass of rose and an Otto Spritzer which was delicious and refreshing. This place is pricey and we were also trying to keep our diets in mind when perusing the menu so we leaned on the happy hour food specials quite a bit for our first time. I hate it when I try someplace new and the food is expensive AND turns out to be disappointing. It turns out I had nothing to worry about because the food here absolutely wowed us both. I had the watermelon salad and gazpacho de aguacate which, is really not a soup at all and is more of a dip. It even comes with house made chips, which were light, crispy and I believe baked instead of fried which made me feel better about eating them. Both were absolutely delicious. Quite spicy. I really liked that they did not hold back here. SO opted for the herby burger and andouille hush puppies from the happy hour menu. Both were absolute flavor bombs we won't soon forget. I nominate this burger as quite possibly SLC's best. I stole many bites. The fries were great too. Light and crispy. They were great dipped in the sauce they came with but were even better dipped in my 'gazpacho'. Service was good and everything came out quickly. Others have mentioned this is not always the case when they are busy but that is part of the reason we like to eat so early when popular places aren't busy so we rarely run into these issues. Join the revolution, friends. Or don't. I'm cool with never having to wait for a table. The food, cocktails and service absolutely delivered at Felt. We can't wait to go back and start eating our way through the rest of their menu.

Not only was she genuine.. warm... friendly but she was so personable. She was patient answered all our questions and made great recommendations. This place was very chill. It is considered a bar so they will check your ID upon entrance, but it's really more of a restaurant. This place is located directly on Main Street and its walking distance of other restaurants and bars but we read the reviews and we found this place had a really good menu and great review so we decided to try. We ordered for appetizers the scallops and that came with polenta cake and we also ordered the hatch green chili ravioli top with a lobster. The ravioli was so good. It came in a green curry sauce with lobster on top and it was so flavorful. The scallops are also good. They come with four small scallops and the polenta cake was decent, but we enjoyed the ravioli by far. For our entrées, we ordered the Wagyu frites and the cheesesteak sandwich the main reason why this review can't get five stars cause unfortunately the steak did come overcooked and the Philly cheesesteak was just OK. We also upgraded to truffle fries and the truffle fries were out of this world Aidan was so sweet that she gave us a complementary dessert to apologize for the steak being overcooked and she recommended the Tres Leche cake. It came with a gochujang Chantilly cream, and it was Divine. It almost reminded you of cinnamon toast crunch. Overall, the food was really good. The service was even better. Definitely would come back the next time. I'm in town.

We visited at least two, during our four days in SLC. This one was the first: a cathedral-style brewpub with a sports bar aesthetic, with decent food, decent drinks, decent service, and decent prices. Everything was decent. You're not likely to be disappointed by anything you order, but you're not likely to be blown away by anything, either (another thing Squatters has in common with McMenamins, I'd say). During our second visit (to another location, but I'm sure the same rule applies), our party was only interested in ordering drinks (one per person, mind you), but we were informed that we *had* to order some sort of food to accompany them (I'm sure this is more of a Utah thing, rather than a Squatter's thing, but still annoying), so bear that in mind if you're looking for a place to just chill with a beverage and watch a game. Still, the vibe here is lively and friendly; assuming your server is as well, which was a coin flip, in our experience. For a fast, casual chain of brewpubs, Squatters has a lot going for it, and I can see why they are popular, as clearly as I can see ways in which they can improve. A little more focus, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, and Squatters could absolutely dominate in SLC, and beyond.
