Clam chowder
Diana H.

Surprisingly good for a Marriott restaurant I started with a cup of NE Clam Chowder that was your standard fare but full of tender crab meat. Ordered the Grilled Pork Chop with asparagus and fried polenta and was so glad I did as the server warned me that it would take some time due to being thick...yay! Boy was it thick! And perfectly cooked medium rare too! It had an apple compote that was a nice touch. The asparagus were small, tender and yummy and the polenta was creamy in the middle with a nice crispy outside. Really enjoyed the meal. Glad I get to stay here often.

'All American', 'pancake' & 'Avocado toast'

Breakfast at Thistle & Thyme. The environment itself was nice. Food: Husband ordered the 'All American' = two eggs any style with potatoes, choose bacon or sausage, and toast, includes coffee... $15 == small eggs, potatoes where fried with a sugar coating, potatoes where good but wasn't expecting to get a sugar load. The bacon was not good at all, this wasn't bacon anymore it was very over fried. He couldn't sub the eggs for a pancake .... so he ordered a pancake on the side which was your typical American delicious pancake. The toast was ... wel a toast. I ordered the 'Avocado Toast, grape tomatoes, red onion spring mix... $15 (add an egg any style for an additional... $1' == it was way too salty. I am the first person to season my food with a lot (really a lot) of pepper and salt but this was just too much. Not worth the $15. It would have been a lot nicer if it would've come with smoked salmon. Service: they refilled the coffee constantly which was really nice. But after giving them our credit card and asking for coffee to go, it took them forever to come back to us. We eventually asked 4times to 3 different people... The $20 buffet was probably a better option as the menu itself is rather limited. Will not recommend. Also; somebody else complaint about his egg, he ordered sunny side up but it wasn't a sunny side up so he rightfully complaint. They gave hima new egg but it still wasn't a sunny side up. The customer accepted it as it was taking them too long to try another time haha ...

Tots poutine
Shannon W.

We met here for a party and boy did we have fun. The wate staff was very nice but a little unorganized. Their menus were half new and half old menus. So if we wanted something we had to double check that it was actually on the menu. Same goes for the drink menus. But once we all ordered our food and finally got it all it was absolutely delicious! My roasted chicken was very tender and juicy. And my friends seafood curry dish was so delicious she said it was the best that she has ever had! And the tots poutine I got for the appetizer was pretty good as well. Overall it's definitely a place I will come back to. Hopefully they will be more organized next time.

Found hair in food. My friend chocked on the hair. Then waiter argued about the presence of the hair. Very unpleasant experience.

I ordered a Raspberry limeade and my friend ordered the Mint Limeade. The limeades were ridiculously delicious along with everything else. The homemade biscuits were amazing with the jam. We entered and were seated quickly, our waiter wasted no time in getting us water and silverware. While it was half busy, the service was on top of it all. We ordered a mimosa, a loaded bloody mary, garden benedict, and new Cuban sandwich. The bloody mary was the star of the meal, with a pickled egg, crispy slice of bacon, tomato, cheese, and pickle, it was a meal within itself. Everything else we ordered was accurate to the description; the Cuban was tender and juicy, the benedict was served with hashbrowns that had red quinoa in them, something I've never had before and made me go home and buy red quinoa to start putting with my potatoes! Comparatively to other places we tried, the food was delicious and the prices were fair, would definitely come back.

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! Our server was great and attentive. We ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers which included skillet rolls served warm, the grilled calamari chilled lobster tails, shrimp cocktail, marinated cucumbers and the Mac n cheese. Without reservations, my coworker and I were able to sit at the bar right away although the restaurant was popping for a Monday night! Everything we had was DELICIOUS!!! The lamb tartare in harissa sauce intrigued me because come on, you never see lamb tartare; it is always beef tartare! It was so good and the grapefruit added a nice citrusy note to the dish! It paired perfectly with the potato chips. I saw several people at the bar with the Golden Eagle Black Cod dish so I felt reassured that I made a good choice and me oh my, did I!!! The cod melted in my mouth yet had a nice crispness to the skin! I devoured the whole dish and scraped off all the gochujang glaze too! For dessert, they were out of Lemon Blueberry Bliss which was my first choice. We got the Pistachio Entremet and for the pistachio lovers out there, this is your dessert!!! It has pistachio everything!! ;) Our bartender/server had great energy and customer service as well as the hosts! I left feeling so satisfied and blissfully full with the amazing meal! Kudos to the team at Urban Hill!!!! One quick side note: I appreciate how the restrooms had individually packaged floss picks! A nice touch indeed! ;)

Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. I remark every single time about how quick they are to serve us our food. They have remembered my family and bring us our drinks without even needing to ask. Their food is delicious, and we appreciate the authenticity. If you haven't been, and aren't near by to partake in their amazing food regularly, you HAVE to try the Philly asada omelet. You won't regret it!! I saw a comment about the restaurant being dark, but the lighting seems great. Anything much brighter would probably upset my eyes, especially early in the morning (as that's when we typically go). Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family. We appreciate your business and hope you continue to succeed!
