Only reason I am giving Flower World 2 stars and not 1 star is because the price was slightly less than at other nearby shops, and because the flowers weren't dead. Aside from that would not return or recommend. Made plans to pick up flowers at a set time and I get there and the place is locked. No one bothered to call saying that no one would be there. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of a very nice woman who helped me. Sharon I believe was her name. She was so sweet and made beautiful bouquets for me exactly how I wanted! The man who I believe was the owner was literally yelling at his MOTHER (who works there), cussing and just completely angry at all the workers. Very unorganized, when I politely asked if I can get a different color paper for my flower arrangement a woman told me that they didn't have the color I wanted (red ( the day before valentines)) . When i told the Sharon to just do it with the purple she went and grabbed the red paper I wanted and the other lady seemed upset with her for getting what I asked for. If Sharon wasn't there I would've spent my money elsewhere. read more

I came by here at the last minute for prom flower preparations, that is, a boutonnière for myself and a corsage for my date. Of course my date was irresponsible enough to not get my boutonnière but that's a story for another time. My dad took me by here, where it was filled up to our necks with flowers and gifts so we know they must have had something. The person at the counter was a very friendly and lovely girl that was very accommodating and mentioned that it was family-run. I ordered my corsage that day and she said it would be available for pick up whenever. I chose 12PM and that was done. Next day my date calls me while I'm out getting my haircut and she tells me I have to pick up my own boutonnière. No problem! I called the store to order a matching boutonnière and the mother of the woman from the day before was on the other end of the phone. She got my order in and had it ready for pick up. My dad got the orders on time and it came out really nicely in my opinion. I would recommend you get corsages and boutonnières here!! This review is of course based on my prom flowers. I had a WONDERFUL experience with a Flower World Delivery. I never enjoyed going to chains. They just don't have that "personal" touch. Flower World delivers that personal touch. I live on the East Coast and my mother was attending a nursing seminar in California. Her birthday happened to occur during her weekend long seminar and as a result of being on two different coasts I was not able to celebrate with her. However, I was disappointed to hear that the flowers were missing a happy mother's day balloon which I paid extra for as well as a note. This is the worst place ever. The customer service from the rude woman that 'just prepares' the flowers is just terrible, yet when you ask to speak to someone else she says you can't. First time I ordered from these guys they were great. Customer service from the owner was fantastic. Second time I ordered was Valentine's Day. Order never came and when I rang they told me that if I needed it for a time I need to put notes in the delivery instructions. Today is my wife's birthday. I order days in advance. Put detailed note in the delivery instructions. Must be delivered by 12 as no one will be there after. I ring them after 12 the same lady answers the phone and tells me she has no drivers so there's nothing she can do. So no flowers. She is as rude the first time I spoke to her. While I'm writing this the shop calls and I lovely man speaks to me apologizing. He's customer service is fantastic and he is very apologetic. I just don't know anymore though. How many times do you keep trying the same place to be disappointed? read more
