I have know Amy, the owner, for 18 years now. She is the best at her craft. She is the only nail tech that takes the extra time and effort to remove ingrown toe nails and skin around the nail bed. I absolutely love this place and will not see anyone else but her. Most other nail shops rush you out. Amy is meticulous, detail oriented, and takes her time. She takes pride in her work and does an amazing job every time. Last time I was there, a lady told me she comes all the way from LA to see Amy. Apparently, she used to live in the area but has since moved away. She makes the trip once a month because she can't find anyone better than Amy. Flower nails and spa seemed to have been the only nail place open on a Sunday in this sleepy town. Upon walking in there was a wait, due to only two technicians. I was told if I wanted a full set it would be 15 before I could be helped. Over 30 min goes by prior to being helped. I didn't think much of it, until I was finally helped. I browsed through the colors to be pleasantly surprised by the great selection. I stick to my solid 6 colors and I found one of them so, I was a happy camper. However the amount of time I spent there could have been shortened. I was getting my nails done for almost 3 hours. Yes, they look great, but I don't think anyone would want to spend 3 hours at the nail salon. I also did get nicked a couple of times. Amy! She was so great. My daughter and I arrived 20 minutes before they closed and without hesitation welcomed her (despite just letting her worker go) she asked her to pick a color and wait 15 minutes while she finished the client she had. I was a little hesitant to leave my daughter as I assumed she would rush on her nails. Amy did not rush at all. She took her time and she was very friendly. It is a little odd to pull into the parking lot but other than that the place is clean and up to date. Glad my sister recommended this place. They offer gift certificates and what I was most impressed by was the ?Quick Dry" it was a liquid she put on the nails = No need to fan dry. We will be regulars. read more

We first went to Elegant Nails Glendora (which was reeeeally smelly of nail polish & chemicals, moreso than any other salon I've been in), but without an appointment on a busy Saturday, we were told to come back in 2 hours. We didn't want to wait that long so we yelped around for another close salon & landed on Flowers Nails. There's only 2 people that work there, owner's 6 year old son was jumping & yelling around & watching a loud kid's movie on a personal DVD player, salon is old & cluttered, not fancy at all, cheap polish in the front (and when leaving we noticed OPI is in the back on a little shelf so you have to look for it, we were bummed that they didnt tell us that when we were picking colors). They had nice salon chairs & they did a good job on the nails, but I would probably not go back because the salon itself didn't look very clean. Also the one lady left for 30 minutes and just left us sitting there in cold water while she went to the bank "before it closed." I thought that was rude. read more

I don't live in the area, but my grandma lives around the corner and whenever I visit her I like to get my nails done here. They have these nice massage spa chairs for pedicures and a nice choice of OPI and China Glaze colors. Oh and it's $22 for a mani and pedi!!! I don't know if it's because I'm from the Bay Area, but comparable places cost WAY MORE! I pay more than that just for a pedi! Strongly recommended. read more

I'm surprised to be the first to review since whenever I go there's always pretty busy. This place is a hidden gem, I prefer going here over most nail salons in the area. Not only are they very reasonably priced, but Amy is the nicest lady ever! Seriously her customer service and how she treats her customers is probably why she's always busy, plus she does an awesome job! I am only giving two stars because my nails look very nice, but the experience - YUCK! I had been to this nail salon in the past. I decided to go there again because it was on my way home and I really needed something to relax and pamper myself. It was the worst experience ever in that aspect. I paid the same amount I pay at the other nail salons where I get the massaging chair along with the nice hand, leg and foot massage. I didn't get any of that. In fact, I didn't even get lotion on my hands or legs. To top it off, the owner's son was running around arguing with her, playing loud video games, and constantly changing the channel on the television. She did not ask him to behave or remind him that it is a business and there are customers PAYING for a good experience. I will see how long the gel lasts, but even if it lasts a long time, I will not go back, because it just gave me stress ruined my whole purpose of getting a mani/pedi. read more

Amy does a great job on nails. This place is supposed to be for relaxation and pampering. When you make an appointment, Amy will take a walk in and make you wait. This makes for a 3 hour horror story. Amy let's her children run amuck and the relaxation goes out the door. Disrespect for your time and the atmosphere makes this a waste of good money. read more

I have to agree with all that say Amy does a great job ! She absolutely does. She is the best at her trade. I have been coming here for a year or so. I also like the lady that does my pedicure, she is very good and friendly... As some have said, if you have a long relationship with "Amy" she is very friendly, if not, she doesn't acknowledge your presence. Now on the not so good side. Many times that I have been there I make appointments, and each time I have to wait. Friday I walked in and made an appointment for the next day (which ever time would be good for her) she said "how about 2pm?" I said "ok". I returned on Saturday for my appointment at 155P, she said to me "Oh I have been trying to call you, but I don't have your number " I am running behind, can you come back in an hour, she points at a lady waiting for a pedicure and says "she is next" . Ok, not convenient for me but ok, I will return in an hour. I return at 300pm,,,,,and she is busy working on that lady". From what I could see she was going to be awhile. Her customer was there when I went in at 2pm and she was just now working on her. she said, "sign in and sit down, it will be 10 minutes" (standard saying)....I wait until 315 and finally just get up and leave. Again Amy is the best, she does a great job, nails look awesome. However, as mentioned below, her sons are always at the salon, loud tv, running around, yelling at each other...Amy yelling "Brandon!, Bryan"!! It does not make for a nice relaxing day for some pampering. It is a stressful time to be a part of this dynamic. I have been waiting for my turn in the past and others also waiting, and tell me they have been waiting for awhile, only to find out that I have an appointment and they are being told "they are next"..I have witnessed customers get tired of waiting and walk out" as I did yesterday. so on to a new salon. Hopefully I can find someone as good as Amy's work, she is the best. So if you are looking for a place of chaos, loudness, no conversation and no respect for your time, this is the place for you ! read more

Horrible experience. Walked out with even getting my roe nails polished because I was sick of the crazy add owner yelling at me. This Ignorant women told me before we even started that she needed to see my hands before quoting me a price. I shower my hand told me how much it would be after I told her what I wanted. She even gave me the price for my pedicure and sample colors for me to pick from because I told her exactly what I wanted to have done. Needless to say as I was getting my feet done she increases the price and then also increased the price on my hand. I didn't ask for anything more nor change my rdgust for service. I told her that was unfair and she just went crazy on me yelling and wouldn't stop. I walked out with having my nails done and the work incomplete. She claimed she was to busy to give me the right price qoute. Remember she did stop what she was doing and checked my hands and handed me the color samples so she new exactly what I wanted. I love Amy she has been doing my Grandma's mani/pedi for about a year and a half now and does the most excellent job! My grandma has Alzheimer's/Dementia and Amy is so patient, caring and attentive! I appreciate how much attention she pays to my Grandma's pedicure especially since she has "bad" feet so needs the extra TLC! Her prices are so reasonable and her salon is always clean! Just got home, its just ok. Nothing special. Didnt care for my acrilics. Actually the more I look at them the more i dislike them!!!!! Pedicure is way over priced for what you get. No massage at all, or scrubbing of feet. Same for my daughter. She was done in less then 10 min for a mani and pedi, and we were still there for over 3 HOURS! The owner and other employee were super sweet. Very nice people. Turned on cartoons for my daughter. She hurt me at least twice during the pedicure and when I winced and pulled my foot back a little, she pulled my foot back and continued working in the same spot! AMY IS A ROCK STAR!! I absolutely love this nail salon. It is my go-to place. I know that when I go there that Amy will take care of my nails and take her time. I've gone to her for so many events (such as birthday dinners, parties and proms) and my nails ALWAYS look fabulous! They have a great gel nail selection and always have a nail polish to match your toes. I don't normally get regular nail polish but from looking at the selection, I think its pretty good. Amy gives a great pedicure and you can tell that she knows what she is doing. She even lets you know how to take care of your feet until the next needed appointment. She's super friendly and I always feel great while sitting there. I recommend making an appointment because I have noticed that walk-ins will have to wait. Also if you do not have patience, this is not the nail salon for you. The employees take their time and will paint your nail to perfection! Whenever I get gel nail for my hands and a regular pedicure I'm in there for 2 hours. But I plan for this ahead of time which allows for me to enjoy my time and not feel time crunched. read more
