My sister and I visited today, on a Sunday, with no appointment. The shop ladies were so kind, like aunties, without that mean-spirited "talking-shit-about-you" vibe some salons give off. My sister and I were both done in under an hour. Highlights: 1. **Zero** chemical smell in the shop, with front and back doors open to keep the airflow going. I usually wear a face mask in all nail salons because the chemical smell and the acrylic dust in the air is so bad. 2. Gel pedi was $37 - leg massage included - my fav! 3. Very spacious, well decorated, and tons of colors to choose from. 4. I usually do not leave bad reviews but I came here only to get my nails taken off and one of the ladies completely ripped off my real pinkie nail and didn't even say anything just stood quiet when it was bleeding and still charged me full price! I have been here a few times because it's conveniently located next to my apartment complex. The first time I got gelx it was done well and lasted very long. I have had a few pedicures that are good, but unfortunately this time around I was very disappointed. My pedicure is okay kinda messy and my gel x was done poorly. First off he had trouble with the UV lamp having to continually turn on the light and felt like they weren't being applied correctly. He ended up putting a middle nail on incorrectly. I mentioned to him that the nail was exposing most of my real nail and he said it was okay. I thought "okay he is going to fix it." he did not. All he did was just put polish over the nail and now it's longer than the other and also probably won't last. I'm very disappointed with my visit and won't come back. read more

This place is not the same. I didn't realize how good we really had it. It just felt sketchy, but maybe it's just that it's different. I don't know. We've never been there when it was empty before. It got a nice face lift, but the quality has gone way down. I cared more about the cleanliness of the tools and the perfectionism of the technicians, not the surroundings. I should have taken a picture of my nails/fingers before I cleaned them up, but we were in a hurry. I had gel nail polish all over my fingers and the pads of my fingers. The routine is different now - she really sandpapered my nails before she started painting them. I didn't see her pull the tools out of an unopened package. She didn't like my choice of color, so wanted me to pick a different one. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, but didn't get it. :/ I miss the atmosphere this place used to have - like all the employees were happy and having fun. Maybe they weren't, but it felt likIt made it fun to go here. Now it feels like a sweatshop or something. :( And Tina and Michelle no longer work here! When I called, I was told they were on vacation. -_- Not good when the owner is a liar. If you know where they are working now, would you please message me?? I would like to support them. I came in because I wanted to treat my sister and myself to something nice. I had waited for about 10 min and said they were ready for my pedicure. While I'm as getting my pedicure, my sister was getting a manicure and they didn't want to give her the color she wanted. They said that a white color wouldn't go with her "skin color". My sister and I are both Mexican and tanned and white would've looked fine so I had no clue what they were talking about. Then I noticed the tools were super dirty like as if they hadn't been cleaned in months! I then went to get my acrylics and an older white lady came in claiming she had an appointment and needed to be taken care of asap. They had me wait about an hour while my nails were only 30% done because they had to attend to her first. I was patient because i really had nowhere to be after but making me wait until they completely finished hers was absurd. At the end the lady only gave me $5 off for waiting and now my entire pinky toe nail fell off! They were also extremely rude when handling my hands and feet but were very nice to all the other older, white ladies in the salon. Not sure if it had anything to do with my skin color or how young i look but that's exactly how they made me feel and I also felt like they could take advantage of the face that my sister and I were young. Never coming back. Unless you're an older white woman, I would recommend looking for some place else. read more

I was looking for a nail shop that's close to where I live and this place was open on a Sunday. I called ahead of time and asked for gel manicure and regular pedicure pricing. They quoted me at $42. It seem the average around glendora. I usually go to Long Beach to get them done because my mom usually watches my son so I can have some "me" time. Their average price is $35. As I drove to the place, I had to really look at the signs to find them. It's in this somewhat deserted center. The decor looked very outdated but they had the massage chairs! :) The ladies were super attentive and great with detail. They took their time and I didn't feel rush. There were so many gel selections, I couldn't decide. At the end, their quote was correct. I paid $42. ((Sometimes I get quoted on the phone and when I pay they give this way off number)) I am giving them a four star because it's owned by a new couple and the gentleman seems like a tyrant. He did not know how to talk to his employees and did not know the ticket system. I hope he understands his team works really hard and deserves respect. read more

I recently had a mediocre experience after several great ones, but just like a breakup goes, once you go elsewhere you realize that the grass is not always greener. I tried 2 other salons after my most recent experience here and I came runnin back. About two months ago I left a three star review because I was given a $60 manicure and pedicure her and my cuticles were not even removed. The reason I came back and have now upgraded back to a five star review because they took care of me this time like they have in the past and the customer service is still the best around. So they had an off day. Oh well. It happens. I'm back and got a banging manicure and pedicure and I'm here to stay. These ladies are the sweetest and most attentive.
