I like subcompact cars, and this category is basically phasing out across the US; almost every subcompact model was discontinued between 2018-2020. I liked my 2012 hatchback Nissan, but, surprise!, that one's been discontinued, too. After several test drives of different makes/models, I decided to take a look at Nissan's sedan Versa. I came across a 2021 via the internet at Ricart. I called and talked with Leesa, told her what time I'd be in to dealership the next day. I basically know what I want in a car, and this model checked all the boxes: Must have cruise control; bluetooth connectivity; good air flow; and smooth down/up shifting gears in an automatic. I was very happy to see the car ready and waiting when I arrived as planned. Leesa was young and a good personality to work with. She didn't care where I drove on the test drive (which is a huuuugh plus in my book), so I was able to drive the streets and get on the freeway to test the cruise control. I decided this was the one, and that was that. She didn't try and sell me anything else, just shook my hand said congrats, let me get my manager, and smooth sailing. I will admit I've NEVER been a Ricart fan - I think it stems back to the annoying guitar "We're dealin!" Commercials from the dad, so it is what it is. I was really happy that everyone I dealt with, from the warranty man, to the cashier gal, had great attitudes and caught onto my sarcasm right away and punned back. Overall, my dealings with Ricart were hassle free. I've already taken advantage of my lifetime car washes perk. Leesa (the sales gal I talked with on the phone to ask if they still had the car I'd found via the internet), and let her know I wa

On Friday, we called back and increased our offer, but were told no. Then this morning, a different salesperson called and said they knew we were interested in the vehicle. We explained our offer again, and were told to come in because they could "probably make it work." We stopped what we were doing, drove back to the dealership, and took the vehicle for another test drive. When it came time to discuss pricing, we were told the exact same thing as before: no change in price. We made another trip based on their suggestion that something could be worked out, but nothing had changed. If there was no flexibility on pricing, they should have told us before asking us to come back. Very disappointing and a waste of our time.

Probably the place where you are least likely to find what you are looking for, it was by far the most fun to visit. Vehicles are propped up on old rims and look totally unsafe to be wrenching on from underneath...yet people do. It was also the busiest and most hopping of the bunch I visited. This, I'm sure, explains the lack of parts. Most of the vehicles have been picked to pieces. I found some crushed beer cans out there, and took solace knowing that you can get your drink on while you pick, if you so choose. There were also dirt cheap (AND dirt-Y) vehicles for sale, all of which would need a good cleaning and some fixing up, but for that price, still a deal. Inside, the staff was helpful and witty to boot. I paid a dollar to enter, but was loaned a lug wrench in case I found my part. The parking lot has a food truck, in case you food truck hipsters want to go check out a cart I'm pretty sure isn't participating in any food truck fests.

I had to pay $1000 out-of-pocket however went back-and-forth with the gas station gas station testing showed that their gas was fine. I had the manager Cindy send out the Gas to be tested found . Test results showed it was 8% ethanol ask Cindy for my money back. She refused to give me my money back because the gas showed there was ferrous and debris in the gasoline. I spoke with the company who tested, I explained to them why the was being tested and it was taken from the fuel tank. They said it made sense for the heavy metals to be in the tank explained to me that there's something wrong with the car where metals is breaking down, but the gas was fine. Explain this to Cindy and Ricart she is still refusing to give me my thousand dollars back. Cindy has not been nice only to find out that the car now needs a transmission replaced in. It bought the car in February. It is now May I've only had the car in my possession for a total of 39 days and have made a car payment every month beware of Ricart and beware of Cindy. Her customer service is awful. I also asked Cindy multiple times. How did they come up with the results that it was 85% ethanol in the gas when it's only 8% she proceeded to tell me that that didn't even matter the gas still tested bad and I wouldn't get my money back she wasn't putting his own Kia. It's just something how dealerships can tell you what they wanna tell you to get you to pay for something that's not even a problem because their mechanics are knowledgeable to diagnose it in the first place even when I went back to pick the car up after they emptied all the gas the check engine light came back on, and they couldn't even let me take the car. The car has been having transmission issues this whole time now I'm back-and-forth considering an attorney so that I can claim lemon law. Purchase the car Feb 11th Just got it back today from them Putting a brand new transmission in it however they still can't seem to give me no updates about my thousand dollars. Those test results came back May 7. I paid based off of their results, not so I don't know why they keep trying to put this didn't give me the results they. I would be trouble and their mechanics give you a diagnosis. Make sure whatever you do you get a second opinion because it's clearly that Cindy will back her mechanics and lie for them instead of taking accountability that the mechanics was wrong and just returned my money I would never deal Ricart ever again.i have NEVER been through anything like this in my life I leased multiple cars with Nissan, I guess this is what I get for going to another dealership. I will never do that again.I miss good customer service any diagnosis I've ever had have been solid I would definitely stay away from Ricart and Kia
