Zero trust in this company. I called them to clear a partial blockage in my sewer line. My sewer pipes are older and have to do this every couple of years. They did a camera and saw roots and build up in the line and did everything to scare me into replacing all my pipes at a huge cost. First he said it was so clogged up and deteriorated we had to trench throughout the house and replace all the sewer lines, destroying both bathrooms, kitchen and floors. He said it would cost 40k, but don't worry because he knows how to get insurance to cover it. My sewer was not backed up and I said how is that even possible and he says he knows what to tell insurance companies to get them to pay and to trust him. Also, he has a restoration guy that will come and basically remodel my entire house and insurance should cover that as well. There is no way insurance would pay for all this so I asked him if he can get insurance authorization first so I know insurance will pay. He says he can't be cause it has to be an emergency to get insurance to cover it. So my next question was, what happens if he tears up my entire house and insurance doesn't pay? He assures me he can, but says if they don't then "I have to be paid". So basically, "Trust me, bro" was my assurance. I said no to this and he said need to do at least the line in my yard because that's where the clog was (so why were we going to tear up my entire house again?) He said 10-12k for a 30-35 foot replacement in my yard. This was a crazy price as well and I told him I am not doing that and asked him to just snake the line and that's all I want. He said he wasn't going to snake it anymore because the line is bad and he only snaked so he could get his camera through. He said if I wanted my drain cleared I would have to do at least a hydro jet cleaning for $1600. I have been able to clear the line in the past with a snake and have had other plumbers tell me NOT to hydrojet in old cast iron pipes because you can clear the clog but will likely destroy your pipes in the process. He said "nah man, they don't know how to do it but trust me I can clear it for 1600 without destroying your line". I told him I just want it snaked, in which he refused again. He then told me to run all the water in the house and went back on the roof. He was walking back and forth on my roof for like 10 minutes doing something and finally asked me "is it draining" to which I answered "yes" and he said "it is??" like he was surprised. That night the toilet began bubbling, which it had never done in the past. I have no idea what he was doing up there. I have no idea if they know what they're doing plumbing wise but what I do know is I absolutely DO NOT TRUST them. FYI - I had the line cleared with a snake. I got another quote to do the yard dig and it was $5200. The plastic liner for old cast iron pipes is like $20,000 and doesn't destroy your house. If you're doing anything with these guys, I would get 2nd and 3rd opinions before proceeding. read more

This was my best experience with a plumber/repairman. I badly needed one to fix my kitchen sink's garbage disposal, after the one I had scheduled had to cancel due to an emergency. I googled and contacted Flush King to describe the problem I was having. I got the appointment immediately - next day. Their technician Tom arrived exactly on time, after sending me a txt stating when he would arrive. He diagnosed the problem, gave me the options and quotes, and fixed it. Flush King had done work for us in the past, and we were very happy with their service, so we didn't hesitate to call them when we discovered we had no hot water. On Saturday around 5 PM, we realized our water heater pilot light wouldn't ignite. By 6:15, Anthony was at our house. He inspected the issue and gave us two options: replace the faulty part for $800 or replace the entire tank for about $2,200. After draining the tank and checking inside, he found no significant sediment buildup, so he felt confident the tank could last a few more years if we replaced just the part. He also recommended replacing the aluminum anode rod, which should be swapped out every three years. The cost for a standard rod was $329, but he also offered a 20-year electric rod for $629. Unfortunately, he didn't have the replacement part on hand and wasn't certain he could get it on Sunday, so we had to decide whether to wait and potentially go the weekend without hot water or replace the entire tank. We decided to wait, and Anthony went above and beyond to help. Early Sunday morning, he messaged us saying he had found the part at a warehouse in Phoenix and could come by after noon. By 1 PM, he was at our house and got to work. While he was there, I asked him about a slow leak in one of our toilets. We had recently replaced the flapper ourselves, but it wasn't solving the issue. Anthony checked it out and explained that the "universal" flapper we had installed wasn't fully compatible with our Kohler toilet. Luckily, he had a Kohler flapper on his truck and replaced it for us--complimentary! That kind of service is rare and greatly appreciated. Anthony also showed us the old, heavily corroded anode rod he removed, which reinforced how important it was to replace it. Additionally, he noticed corrosion on our shutoff valve and recommended replacing that, which we agreed to do. Overall, the service was exceptional. Anthony's professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile were outstanding. I highly recommend Flush King and especially Anthony. They've earned our trust and loyalty. read more

We had neighbors on our block who had recently suffered from plumbing backups in their kitchen, floods in their house, etc. We were experiencing so many issues, and we knew that our plumbing was a timebomb just waiting to happen and we had better take action NOW. And, yes, all of the plumbing had to be replaced throughout the house, and the cement had to be jackhammered. We were told by neighbors on our street, who had already gone through this, that we DID NOT WANT TO PUT THE PIPES IN THE CEILING. In summer, of which we have 6 months of the year in Phoenix, you will only have WARM and HOT WATER coming out of your pipes if you put them in the ceiling. No cold water. It is not inexpensive. But, your home is one of the best investments you will ever make, so make sure you have the right company do the work for you. I received a couple of bids, after doing (fast and) extensive research on the BBB, the Registrar of Contractors, and Yelp. I found that Flush King Plumbing was the absolute best. And, they were able to come the next day to start the project, as it was almost immediately necessary, which we knew! And, after watching them do the work and seeing the beautiful job they did (which belongs in a museum) ... I would recommend them to anyone! If I could give this company 10 stars, I would! This company deserves it. I did a lot of research on u-tube and the internet coming up with a lot of questions I wanted answered before we hired a company to redo our 67-foot Orangeburg sewer line, which has an approximate life span of 50 years. Our house was built in 1957, so we've been very lucky. We decided to replace the line before there was a disaster. We decided to get a couple of bids. Flush King was our second bid (which, when they give you a bid...it is a final quote! There is no up-selling!) I called them on Tuesday, 3-4-25, and Shawn, their estimator/account manager was at our home on Wednesday, 3-5 (the next day). Not long after leaving, he sent a bid. Warranty: This repair comes with a 20-year warranty on parts and labor by Flush King Plumbing. A question I didn't even think to ask was in their bid: Transferrable warranty even if homeowner sells the house. This will transfer to new resident for the remainder of the warranty, from date of completion of work. WOW!!!! We had a couple of questions, and Shawn revised the bid to change the wording just a little for clarification, even though we had verbally discussed it with Shawn previously. Following is from the quote (with possible comments from me inserted) about the work they would do: Will dig trench from edge of home to street (again 67 feet!). Will install new Schedule 40 PVC pipe. Will tie PVC onto the clay with heavy duty non-shear coupling. Will support pipe with rebar and wire it to ensure proper grade on pipe and to ensure that pipe does not shift over time. (Had never heard of the rebar before!!!! Going the extra mile here!!! Tyler was the one who took care of all of the pipe, etc.) Install tracer wire for possible future locating of sewer line. Install new Bullhorn cleanouts in the front yard. Place compaction stone as first layer of compaction around pipe. Backfill and compact dirt properly. Haul away and dispose properly any debris. Will connect any other existing sewer line to main line (which we had and it needed to be done). Will get yard back to pre-loss condition as best as possible. (OK, we get flood irrigation, so that was a big issue. We had a berm built up to keep the water from getting close to the area in which we decided to have the sewer line placed. In order to dig the sewer line, they had to remove some of the berm. Their one request was to keep dry the area where the sewer line was for as long as humanly possible. They built a dirt berm that was twice the size we previously had...all the way to the street (where we didn't even have one). And they did an incredible job compacting the soil with their compacting machine.) Now...a major comment for their crew. Tyler (the project supervisor) had 5 or 6 men that dug that 67-foot line BY HAND. I've never seen dirt fly like that. These guys were incredible machines. Machines couldn't have done the fantastic job these gentlemen did! Non-stop they worked all day. And...on Thursday afternoon (3-6 - in 2 days) they were done!!!! Our neighbors couldn't believe it. Chris, the owner (who had 3 sewer line crews working on these days, came by a couple of times to check on things. Chris (owner), Shawn (estimator), Tyler (project supervisor) and their crew were absolutely the nicest and most professional individuals I've dealt with in a very long time. Wish all companies were this way. Again 10 stars! Start saving your money. This is not a cheap project. But, whatever you pay with Flush King, you get more than your money's worth! And, waiting until you have a disaster could cost you a lot more. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! A note: They do not guarantee your landscaping. So, if you have plants that you need to transplant before they come...make sure you do that ahead of time. Clear away any obstacles that might be in their way. I took pictures as they were doing the work as a permanent record of where the line was placed. This way, I could also show pictures to our friends and neighbors who might need a great company to redo their sewer line as well. Pictures tell a story. Sorry for the long review...but when you find a great company, they deserve recognition! (And, I read almost all of this company's reviews before I called them! So glad I did. Chris answered the phone (how about that I got a real person), he said he would send someone out to my house in less than 90 minutes. I've used Flush King on several occasions now, and every single time Chris and his team have come out they've been nothing short of fantastic. They're professional, courteous, knowledgeable and actually show up when they say they're going to show up (shocking for a home service provider, but it's true). First, I had Chris come out to snake a shower drain that was backing up. He was able to not only snake the drain and fix the backup, but he also took a video of the process to help us identify an issue with an old pipe due to previous owners incorrectly fitting a new pipe to it. While it won't be cheap (or fun) to fix, I will 100% be using Flush King when the time comes for the repair. I also had them out to fix a leaky bathroom faucet and p-trap connection. Instead of charging me an absurd amount of money to replace the entire faucet, they charged me a reasonable price and fixed the broken pieces to get the faucet working as good as new. Many companies won't do that, or will try to nickel and dime you - not Flush King! Just the other day, we needed a replacement of an old dishwasher for a new one we purchased. Flush King scheduled same day and was able to replace the old unit with the new unit in an incredibly short amount of time. The plumber, Tom, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. He even pointed out a broken part in the new dishwasher and a few cosmetic issues that occurred in shipping from the big box store I purchased the unit from. Going one step forward, he even told me how to address the issue with said big box store to ensure I could get a large discount on my original purchase price and get a new part sent out. Again, this was something he didn't have to do, but goes to show the type of company Flush King is and how they're willing to go out of their way for their customers. It would be impossible for me to overstate how great this company was to work with. On a Friday morning a couple weeks ago, I started getting water backing up in my bathtub from the sewer out. I called Flush King and within just over an hour someone was at my house looking at it. Turned out to be close to a worst case scenario - I had a major blockage in one spot, and multiple parts of the old line from the house to the city connection were blocked/collapsed/broken. A full replacement sewer line was needed, which involved cutting up the new pool deck and digging a long trench to the property line. By Sunday morning, these guys already had the work completed, and the owner even stuck around to fix a blockage in the washing machine discharge line that turned out to be unrelated to the sewer line issue. They did quality work, completed it much faster than I expected, and did a phenomenal job with the cleanup. The logo and marketing photos are what got me to call them first. The quality and speed of their work means that they'll be my plumbing company for as long as they're in business. read more
