THIS REVIEW IS 11 MONTHS IN THE MAKING. Last December we called Darren due to our drainage tile pump burning out which is located in the same room as our sewage ejector pump. Darren came out and gave us an estimate to replace the pump. One of his employees came back and replaced the pump that was burned out and this is where the issue comes in. The person that was working on our pump unplugged the sewage ejector pump for some reason and left it unplugged after they were done. As we have used Darren in the past we fully trusted his company to do a great job and they have until this time. It was a week later were I was downstairs doing laundry and found that where was water coming up from the floor drain and it was all over the floor and leaking under the baseboards to the room next to the laundry room into the carpet and into our bathroom as well. I reached out to Darren and explained what was going on and he asked me if I could take pictures and text them to him....right there was a RED FLAG....a customer calls you and tells you there is a problem with work done as their house and instead of coming in person to see, he asked for pictures. So I take the pictures and send them to him and he responds that he will have to see if he wanted to go through his insurance and that it did not look like it would be more then his deductible, also get a quote for the damages. After sending him the quote I do not hear from him in a couple of weeks, then he responds that he had some health issues and that he was in the hospital, mind you this is in the beginning of January. I wait until the end of the month to follow up with him and he stated that he was just getting out of the hospital and he has a long road to recovery and to bear with him a little longer. I apologized to him and asked if there was someone in the office to take care of the matter and he never responded to me after that. In March I texted him again asking if he was doing well and were we stood on fixing the basement...he never responded and after several attempts trying to contacting him he finally responded in may stating that he is finally getting back to work and needs to catch up and to give him a week or so and he will get back to me. A week later I reached out to him again asking for an update and he stated that he was going to visit his daughter in Wisconsin and to follow up with him next week!!!! A week later I reached out again and asked how it was going and his response was slow! This is now the end of May so I waited until the middle of June to reach out to Darren and to my surprise he was back in the hospital. Its now the end of June and I reach out to him again asking for an update and told him this has been long enough please but the issue to bed. Darren does respond this time asking what my address was and he will mail me a check?!?!....Darren then doesn't remember the quote I sent him and had to resend him the quote again. After some banter back and forth he then stated that he's not sure who was to blame for the unplugging of the pump????? I was shocked to hear this from him! July 9th I followed up with him again and did not hear back from him. At this point I was ready to get a lawyer involved, so I let him know that and Immediately he responded back saying he had some cash on him and would drop it off at the house. It was not the full amount for the quote I sent him but I took what I could get. Darren did say that he would get me the rest of it as soon as he could. I texted Darren July 17th asking for the rest of the payment.....after reaching out several times I did not hear from Darren until October. This time he was not taking responsibility for his work and as a business owner. All I wanted to have him do is make the situation right and pay for the damages and he couldn't even do that. It is now November that still haven't herd from Darren about getting the rest of the money. I KNOW THIS WAS LONG BUT ITS BEEN A YEAR DEALING WITH THE LIES AND I WANTED TO BE AS DESCRIPTIVE AS POSSIBLE SO YOU DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID BY USING FLUSH PLUMBING. Darron was super communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. I was quoted a very high price by another company and needed a second opinion, so I asked around on Nextdoor and did some personal research - Flush Plumbing came up, and Darron's name specifically was brought up repeatedly as someone who was honest and helpful. I called the office and the lady on the phone was super kind (even asked me how to spell "Vickie", and 99% of people spell my name wrong and don't ask for that detail). Darron called me back in 10-20 mins and offered to come by in the morning to assess everything without charging me! This allowed me to at least cancel with the other company within the 3 days they offered (and they did charge me). It was a gnarly and expensive job, but he quoted me less than the other place, and had the job done in 2 days even though he had some personal stuff to take care of. We needed to cut through the asphalt and replace a cast iron pipe that was broken, as well as install a cleanout and then rod and clean out the rest of the pipe to the main sewer. His guys were super hard working, and Darron is even going to cut an extra part of the asphalt out for us at no charge so that we can repair a divot that was forming right above and next to the space where the pipe was broken. He also allows you to pay by check or card. I was running around working all day, and Darron didn't even take the first payment on the first day like he had initially asked, because he knew it was a busy day. I reached out to this company for a water heater installation. After accepting their quote they advised that they wouldn't be able to get to it "for a few days" which i advised was fine as it was not an emergency. They let me know they'd be able to do the installation the following thurs/fri (8-9 days away at that point). I said that was fine. I didn't hear anything at all by the following Thursday and reached back out and they advised they wouldn't be able to support until the following week. I let them know that a notification would have been appropriate and helpful and the response was "you said it wasn't an emergency" which apparently means they can get to it whenever they have time and won't notify you about changes to the expected service. Very responsive but not very reliable or professional in this instance. Edited: this has nothing to do with emergency or not. A 2 day time frame was provided. A week went by and no information was received regarding changes to discussed timeframe. It's just bad customer service. read more

I made the mistake of paying at the time of service. I have made 2 phone calls and messaged them multiple times. I was told the video was accidentally deleted. I asked if they could provide another camera inspection free of charge since it was their fault for deleting the video. I was told I would have to pay again.ed to watch the video again later to double check to make sure I wasn't missing the clean out before we spent several thousand dollars to dig up the yard. They came on a Saturday to fix my broken disposal. After calling, I received a call back right away, saying they would be there within 60-90 minutes. After 2 hours of waiting, I called back, and they called me back, and would be there within 45 minutes. They arrived, said it was the disposal (it was a goner) and replaced it quickly. Flush your money down the drain. I had flush come out to fix a faucet in my bathtub. They took the faucet out and left to go to Home Depot for the part. In the meantime the pressure from the fixture being off had water going up the pipe and and dribbling over and draining into my basement ceiling. I noticed the huge puddle on the couch and floor a minute before they came back. Their answer - I don't know why that would happen. Seriously I've got water running out of my light fixture just below where you are working and you don't know why? Turns out he also had the wrong part and had to go some where else for it. Then I catch the helper complaining that the water was all over the junk in the basement. Excuse me but the junk was my sons stuff and he had just moved home from college and had dumped it in the basement . And besides you don't call a customers possessions junk. I called around looking for a plumber to come out and take a look at our main sewer line because we were having problems with it backing up into our basement. Flush called me back immediately and was upfront about their prices. Darron was even able to come by after 5:00, which was fantastic since we're not able to be home during the day. Upon initial inspection, it was discovered that our main sewer line needed to be replaced. Darron explained everything to us and quoted us a price for the job. He came back the next day and got to work replacing the line. He worked with the city to get the permits and inspections. It took 2 days to complete the replacement, and during this time we were never left overnight without the use of our water. When the job was done, all of the holes were filled in and the excess dirt was removed. I was very impressed by how well everything was cleaned up.
