I've always loved the salads a dirty birds. They're absolutely massive and really flavorful. My server convinced me to do fried chicken over grilled chicken with my salad, and it was a total hit.

Dirty birds truly has the best chicken wings! Always crisp and white meat chicken, u can also get all flats or all drum sticks if u ask and orders of 5, 10 or 15 with so many different varieties of flavors. I always end up sticking with the lemon pepper tho. 3 peat and Aztec wing flavors were really good tho. It has a elevated sports bar vibe.

Great food, but this location is super busy. We stopped in during happy hour and had our dogs with us after a beach day. The patio was busy and and the only tables available were directly in the sun. The wait staff here was just okay, the service at the OB location was a lot better. Our server was slow and forgot to bring out the blue cheese dressing we requested several times. The wings and fries were good though and we also got a happy hour pitcher of beer that paired well with our meal. Not sure if I would come back to this location, I prefer the OB location for their vibe.

Stopped by during Christmas (2025) weekend and it was really packed!!! The parking lot by Dirty Birds was packed as well so we had to park by the Corvette diner and walk over. It was a 30 minutes wait for a table so we decided to sit at the bar. Excellent service from the bartender. We had the Nashville hot wings and chicken Cesar salad, they were good. Plenty of restroom for customer use.

We walked in on a Saturday by 4:30pm it was busy the game was on Chargers was on but there was a wait. They were busy she said and only 2 servers?? So 15min wait, we when to the bar to get drinks. 2 Diet Cokes, IBC Root beer & ginger ale You the hard stuff lol. The bar was really busy but I notice tables were empty? I ask there's tables she were busy only 2 hostess was not nice at all her attitude So we walk out side to bar outside to bar and they texted me had a table for us. Services was okay but they weren't really busy now Chargers lost so everyone was leaving. I order a 10pcs. Maple bourbon chipotle And Dirty bird They 5 packs. Dry rub with blue cheese the blue cheese was awful I even tried it it's not blue cheese at all. 5 pcs boneless looked like chicken breast 2 orders We started with green beans great and wasabi Mayo it was good it had heat. French fries they came out good and hot Mac n cheese balls were soft and mushy and were super doughy not Mac n cheese you can see in the picture. I'm leaving a 4stars. Dirty Birds is known for serving up some of the best wings in San Diego offering boneless and bone-in, over 40 flavors from no heat to really hot , and dry rubs to wet options. They have multiple locations including Liberty Station (Point Loma) (where we went), Pacific Beach, UCSD, College Area, and Ocean Beach. I'm a sucker for anything so of course we got their spicy garlic sauce on the wings, which was so flavorful and had the perfect amount of heat . We also really enjoyed their dirty tots, super nachos and of course crispy pickles, which are always a must when we see them on a menu - you can't go wrong with anything on their menu and most options were super kid friendly! We ordered: Boneless and Bone-in wings in Spicy Garlic Mozzarella sticks Crispy pickles Dirty chicken tots Super nachos with steak Aztec fries Honey mustard chicken salad Macaroni and cheese (for our daughter) Prickly Pear Watermelon margarita Follow @allthingsfoodwithjandm (IG) for more must try San Diego restaurants, date night ideas, food experiences, kid friendly spots, with a sprinkling of home-cooking!

Tons of options though definitely room to improve. First waiting to be seated due to signs the greeting was cold as we waited until after a couple of the girls finished their conversation from behind the bar. Food was surprisingly fast and after tasting, my wife and I figured out why. Food may be prepped in advance then dropped quickly for a new order. The fries tasted like they were double fried and hard in the center as well as the wings were on the slightly dry side. I may be back to give it a second try but my first impression wasn't the best.

Absolutely love this DB location! We came here to enjoy a Padres game on a saturday night and it wasn't too busy. We were seated promptly, served quickly, and able to enjoy most of the game before giving up on the Pads. The standout was absolutely the cheddar breaded cauliflower with dirty ranch. This is one of the best things i've ever had the honor of tasting. My meat eating boyfriend also said these stole the show. Would highly recommend! The best sauce around.

The SERVICE 4/5 stars. Our server was truly amazing. She deserved the 5/5. Great recommendations, super genuine and fun, had the best energy and was CONSTANTLY checking in on us; however, a couple of the other workers could have been a little bit more open with communication. We were sitting against the window at the high top wraparound bar tables (feels like an extension of the bar), so the bar is easy to order from and was our go to as soon as we arrived. The bartender took our order, but was standoffish as if we were doing something foreign or a big "no no". Finally the server in charge of our area told us that the bartenders are in charge of the bar and there are other servers for all the other tables/zones. If we were told that from the beginning, we would have made sure to follow the order of the place and order from the correct server. A few of us truly felt bad, but now we know when we go in next time what to expect. Barleymash is always a great time, so we always want to make sure we are doing it right! Our bartender Mike was great, and may Mai Thai ($14) defiantly did what it needed to do. It was sweet, strong and served with the cutest bear-shaped glass with a beautiful purple flower on top. One drink had a girl feeling tipsy. We ordered from the late-night "midnight Bites" menu, which was the only thing we could choose from at the hour of our visit. Everything we selected was really good. Wed got the Frito Pie ($12), Chicken thigh tenders ($7), and Tots ($7). The frito pie presentation was my second favorite part (after the bear glass drink), It came in a all-clad style bowl with the chip bag cut open inside, loaded with Texas-style chilli, melted nacho cheese, and shredded cheese. It was so good I even started adding tots in there too. The tots and Thigh tenders had the perfect crisp! They have sweet and sour chili sauce for dipping with the chicken which was fab! The retro decor made the place even better. I loved seeing the old Blockbuster VHS tapes and music cassettes displayed around the bar. My little eye also spot the Dallas Cowboys flag! Texas energy is definitely in the house. There's also a small arcade area in the back, and my eyes instantly lit up seeing PAC-Man. We didn't get to fully explore the game room because we were trying to make it to Ghirardelli Ice cream & Chocolate shop for dessert before they closed at midnight too. Thankfully everything worked out perfectly since our car was parked right in front of Ghirardelli. NO military discount was honored here even though the owner is a veteran, but overall I still had a really good experience and would definitely come back whenever I'm in the Gaslamp district in SD, Cali. (Oops posted it on a smoke shop in Texas. This review was meant to be shared here) Update: Response to owner: Joe V. That was the best response from any owner I have ever received!!! I love that you mentioned yall haven't been mistaken for a smoke shop in Texas, that Mai Thai last mea bit. Yes sir I reckon it did.

The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers.
