Brick hard biscuits and apple butter
    Anissa W.

My family & I visited for our first time the morning of 7/24/25. With the reviews we read, we just knew it would be an AMAZING experience. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in to when we met our server to when we got our food, it was a very unwelcoming and blah experience. The young lady who seated us wasn't friendly. She looked like we were bothering her & only ended up going back to talk at the bar area once she got us to our table. We got the same type of thing from our server. I don't remember his name - I don't even think he told us. He asked about drinks and gave us time to look at the sticky menus. I was immediately ready to leave, but my family was starving and wanted to stay. So, we did. He brought us some hard as a brick biscuits that tasted like KFC biscuits. I ordered bacon and a pancake. It wasn't anything special. It tasted like Hungry Jack to me. My son got chicken and waffles. He loved the chicken but hated the waffle because it was burnt. My other family member got some biscuit, egg, and chicken thingy with a side of grits and bacon. He wasn't happy because it was the same brick hard biscuits that were originally brought to us. Maybe they were made the night before...??? He liked everything else. Anyway, I won't be back. I truly didn't enjoy the experience & I can get less attitude and better pancakes at IHOP or home. Hopefully, you all will have a better experience.

Love flying biscuit and this was my first time at this location. I'm shocked to say it was not busy when we got there at 8:15am on a Saturday morning. Which was perfect because we had a group of 14. Great spot for a group breakfast. They have these really cool murals on their wall. You're treated to the same delicious menu you find at all Flying Biscuits. I'll admit, I've never gotten the same thing twice because there are so many good options. This time I got the breakfast sandwich which they make on an English muffin (which I wanted - not a biscuit breakfast sandwich person) and the delicious grits. A few in our group were new to Flying Biscuit and raved about the biscuits and the grits. I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and would get it again. We also had a lovely server - Lauren - who was an expert when dealing with a large group. Def would return if I'm ever in the area.

Three of us came here before catching a flight in RDU nearby. We were seated right away, which was great because most of the tables were full, and our waitress came after a few minutes and got our drink order. There are tables menu is large and has both breakfast and lunch items. We all got breakfast . Two of us got the stuffed cheesecake French toast breakfast which came with eggs, grits and sausage. The biscuits were brought to the table first with some apple butter. I preferred real butter but by the time I could get the waitress attention my biscuit was cold. It was ok, just not my favorite biscuit. The meal was good, could have been hotter, but was all good. My water was never refilled and the other girls had to ask for more coffee. The decor is nice and the tables were cleaned quickly. I would give the food a 4 star but the service a 3 star. Not attentive or very friendly. Probably will not return.

This place is great for breakfast/ brunch. Staff are pretty friendly. Standard looking brunch spot. Their menu does have variety of items to choose from . Plenty of parking.

This place was incredible from start to finish! I googled best breakfast near me and this place was on top and it did not disappoint! Customer service was great from the moment we walked in! They had lots of servers and they were all friendly! The decor is cute and inviting and everything appeared clean and organized. My wife got the stuffed French toast and I got the honey butter chicken and waffles. Both were outstanding! We also got the loaded potatoes and a hot chicken and waffles to go. The complimentary biscuits with apple butter were heavenly. The grits may have been the best part of the meal. We will definitely be returning often!

Holy fried chicken! This was a cute place for brunch. The biscuits and apple butter- perfect start. Bright and happy decor! Staff was great! Did I mention the fried chicken tenders???!! So delicious.

We ordered the Chicago Dog, the Reuben Sandwich, and finished things off with a cannolo (yes, the singular form of cannoli). The Chicago Dog was delicious and loaded with flavor, although I have to admit the toxic-green relish initially threw me off a bit (see pic). Once I got past the visual shock, it was actually a fantastic hot dog that stayed true to its Chicago roots. The real star, though, was the Reuben Sandwich. At around $15, it was absolutely worth every penny. Generously stacked, perfectly toasted, and packed with tender meat, melty Swiss, tangy sauerkraut, and just the right amount of dressing. The cannolo was the perfect sweet ending to the meal -- crisp shell, creamy filling, and not overly sweet. What really stood out was how friendly everyone was. The staff made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be back... especially for those Thursday $5 draft beer specials. Apex locals, you've got a gem here.

You walk in and have a little self-type market area and immediately to the right there are refrigerators with prepared meals to buy and take home. I liked the concept where you could even pick your meats and have the chef cook them there for you and you can dine in! They also had an area for dining in and sitting at a bar. The bar had many choices of drinks and a wine section in the back to the side. There was a patio area as well. I decided to have some lunch so I got the salmon BLT which was delicious and I got the side of hot honey brussel sprouts. I ordered some lasagna to take home for a meal later. The salmon was cooked perfectly at a medium temperature and the flavoring was great. The brussel sprouts had just enough kick to them and was a great portion size for two or more. The lasagna was good and also a good size but it is a little bit spicy so if you dont like spice be prepared for a little tiny bit. All was delish. The pricing for everything is on point and not too expensive. They also have specials most of the days of the week! Peyton helped me with my to go orders and I met Ralph the owner who told me about the concept of everything. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend! Second time back was wonderful! Sat and dined in. I got the $1 wings special with barbecue, mac and cheese, and salmon salad. The wings were jumbo size which is great because unlike other places they weren't the size of your pinky. The mac and cheese was very flavorful with the small crisp. The salmon salad was neat because it came and deconstructed segments so you could really pick which toppings you wanted on each bite. The dressing on it was amazing and so was the ranch for the wings. I was attended to by Desiah and Liam who were other so personable and lovely! All of the portions are amazing and I love it because I have food for a few days. Definitely going to come back again to try some of the new items that they've added to their menu.

Frankly, I could eat those daily without a second thought. Service deserves a nod, too. The chef stopped by the table to check in, which we were not expecting.
