The tomatoes were excellent because I came for fried green tomorrow but they let me know that they only served pickled green tomatoes and they did not miss. The tomatoes had the proper amount of firmness and the licking was sweet, spicy, and tangy. The Smokehouse Burger was exactly as advertised. It was juicy but not sloppy . The bacon was a great addition to the burger which was cooked perfectly. The fries were decent as the side but the tomorrows were a more attractive side. First of all I am a Griff's and What a Burger guy. Wife and I decided to give FB a try. There were maybe 3 other customers in Restaurant. Took over 20 minutes to get Two Burger Combos. The burgers were as good as What A Burger and Griffs but not better. The fries were hand cut and good. The problem was the meal was expensive for what you receive, nearly $30. One basket had a fair amount of fries but one had very few. I brought it to attention of girl working counter who was very nice. She said she would tell manager but he would not correct the issue. First time visiting yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised that the meat was larger than the bun. I was amazed that I could actually see the meat, unlike other burger places. Tried for the 1st time on 4/27/21 and I was pleased. Menu looks pretty broad but you know that coming in since they tell you "Burgers and Seafood"... We were so excited when Flying Burger finally came to Bossier and didn't have to drive to Ruston to get their food. Slowly they have taken many things OFF the menu. Now there is NO gumbo, no boiled shrimp, no poboys, no crawfish fried (been gone for a long time, they even removed them from the seafood gumbo which is really a shrimp gumbo) etc. They had other seafood options too when they opened. They are NO longer a burger and seafood restaurant and really a burger & fish now. Just because they have a couple of Salmon options and a couple of options for fried shrimp doesn't make them a burger & seafood restaurant. You can get catfish but that's NOT seafood!! I WON't go back. They think it's food but talking to others of why they don't go there is trying to get out on the main road, leaving the parking lot because of design flaws with Andy's yogurt being so close you can't get out. Also the food complaint was the fries tasted burnt and sometimes the burgers were too. Now many are over them because of NO SEAFOOD!! The exiting of the restaurant was the main issue for so many and the parking lot design. Employees are great, store is always clean, you can buy beer now there are the good! Sad as it wasn't be long before they shut their doors. I miss their seafood for a quick grab and go. It had great seasoning and was good. Bye FB&S!! I went online to make the large catfish meal order for 4. I paid online, and arrived at the pickup window at the expected time. The person at the window asked what I ordered and the name on the order, then tried to charge me a second time for the order. I then get my order of only 12 pieces of catfish and some tartar sauce. I asked where my fries were at, so they pulled some fries from another person's order. I told them this was a large order for multiple people, and that a single order of fries wasn't what I ordered. Then I noticed there were no hush puppies. They gave me 8 hush puppies. All the food was overcooked. The fish was so hard and dry, I could have sanded wood with it. The fries were so burnt tasting we ended up having to throw them out. The hush puppies were the same as the fries. This is the last time we will ever go here again. Ordered online, order was supposed to be ready at 2:15. Received my order at 2:25 mind you it was ordered at 1:30. My order consisted of a burger. 2 orders of 4 jumbo fish and 4 fillet fish and extra hush puppies. Received only 2 fillets in each with 1 fillet being half not a whole. They asked what was wrong I told them it was wrong I needed more fish. I had to ask for my drink as well, you have the order it should fulfilled and correct they were not that busy. Was given more fish to complete order. After leaving I noticed I was not given my extra hush puppies. Didn't even want to go back. Other locations I have been to have not had these issues. This place is SO good!!!!! I'm a picky eater and my party got a variety of things to try and not a single one wasn't delicious. I don't know why the reviews are so low. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, they have all the seasonings and topping you could ever need to accompany your meal. We've eaten in the restaurant and had a to go order and we were pleased both times. The catfish is really good, the wings were spot on dipped in their homemade ranch (yeah we all know quality ranch matters) and that ooey gooey cinnamon roll . This is Aug 4th I just walked in and loved the looks of the place. So I ordered a #1 combo. While waiting I was reading a lot of bad reviews and my hopes were getting down. They called my name and I got my burger and sat down and inspected it! It was exactly right Presentation was great. So I took a bite and it is awesome! They flatten out the patty really thin so it makes it crispy. I'm eating now while making this review. Fries are like the ones you cut up at a fish fry and eat. Very good I will be back. I'm reviewing the seafood portion of this restaurant. Let me say this.......the fish....."CATFISH" that is the BEST THING HERE!!!!! Moving forward, this will be the only thing I order. Now the shrimp, very underwhelming. Reminded me of "John Seafood" back in the day in Shreveport, Louisiana. They used to flatten out, or hammer out the shrimp to make them appear larger. After waiting an extremely long time for my order, the burger was definitely not 1/3 pound as advertised. The staff was friendly, but the cooks messed it up. I ordered everything on it including cheese, but it came minus lettuce, onions, mayo and the cheese. Not sure if they made a mistake and gave me someone else's order?
