They both give excellent massages…read more Tom is very knowledgable about anatomy and can do deep tissue work better than anyone I have ever experienced. If I have an injury or just have overworked and under stretched, Tom can usually solve it in one or two sessions. I have been receiving massage from Tom for at least 6 years now. I have only had massage from Julie a few times, but she was also very effective and I would definitely go again. Both are also able to offer stretching exercises and ergonomic suggestions to help prevent having the same problems again. Usually I can walk in and if I'm willing to wait for 15-20 minutes, they can fit me in. But calling ahead is best if you want a bigger chunk of time.

He worked on it for 10 minutes, and then explained to me what was happening, gave me some exercises. The shoulder felt SO much better, that I got an appointment to see him for longer sessions for my chronic upper back back issues. I have had this problem close to 10 years, and have seen a chiropractor and a phy therapist for it with no change. Am happy to say about 4 sessions with Matthew have significantly improved the condition! He has shown me some extremely effective exercises that have helped me a lot! Every session, he asks how the body is feeling that day, and works on those parts, and also discovering other pain points that need attention. He carefully explains what he found during the therapy, which is something no one does. The prices are also very good, and they offer packages as well. Another big plus point is there is no unnecessary small talk when he working. He is completely focused on relieving those knots and kinks. I have been to others who have good technique, but talk so much, and that does annoy me a bit!

I've had lower back pain for a while and thanks to the extensive consultation and evaluation, Croft was able to identify and show me where my issues were coming from. I basically have 4 moderate areas that need addressing. Croft will go over the details and prioritize which areas to tackle first and more importantly why. After the first session, I felt great. I had movement and mobility that I hadn't had in years and quiet frankly forgot that's how our bodies should be moving. My sacrum had been stuck where performing figure fours or cobras (in pilates/yoga) was near impossible. Now that I can move/bend/twist with a greater degree of rotation, these movements and thus the classes are much more enjoyable and challenging in the way it should be. I've seen considerable improvement with every visit. It is intense at times as the movement of the body (rotation/mobility/etc) is reconfiguring. As those 'moderate areas' start to realign, expect realigning to happen elsewhere until full head to toe alignment occurs. My left knee tended to turn in, with the sacrum finding mobility, my left knee felt very wobbly doing squats and other exercises I had not problem performing before. This is probably because my sacrum/hip alignment had improved that my knee needed to play catch up. Just be mindful of how you had done those movements before and engage slowly as you relearn proper form and technique with the new underlying alignment. Lastly the homework is crucial to not only maintain the benefit of the sessions, but to help facilitate the future sessions (2 steps forward, 1 step back when omitting the homework exercise). Parking was available on nearby surface streets. There appeared to be a small parking lot behind the building too. The massage parlor takes place inside an "office building" with numerous "suites." The office building is multi-level with a stairs that gets you up to the 2nd floor. The break room seems to be communal with other "suites." The massage took place inside a suite. There appears to be two "beds" sectioned off by sheer curtains. After spending time in Thailand, I've been on the lookout for a strong traditional Thai massage therapist. Many of the "Thai massages" in the area mix the traditional Thai massage with the western massage styles by adding oil etc.... Informed the therapist that I was looking for a Thai traditional massage without oil and strong, just like in Thailand. The therapist was strong, did numerous stretches, just like in Thailand. $95/hr + gratuity with $5 off for paying cash. There appears to be a promo program where there is a discounted rate for buying sets of massages. The massage parlor seems to be by appointment only.
