You're better off shipping your lenses to Russia for service than dealing with Stuart and FO.

We were leaving on a long trip and a light, smaller tripod we had broke the week before our flight…read moredeparting - isn't that always the case? We didn't have time to order online and get it before departure so I started to call around. Had a bad experience here before, but called and they were nice (other people working), had a few options, good prices as well. So we drove over, parked in front (they have a few spots for customers) and they had the tripods put aside for us to check. They were nice, patient, nice to talk to. We tried them and settled on one. It was used, but in good condition. So we bought it. It's good we gave them another shot since they are one of the last standing camera stores in the Valley!

I brought my camera in for a diagnosis after some impact damage. I was very clear: I wanted to know…read morewhat was wrong--not to have anything repaired yet. Two weeks later, I get a call that my camera is "ready for pickup." When I arrive, I'm told they replaced the motherboard without my consent, and now I owe $150 instead of the $20 diagnostic fee I was expecting. When I questioned this, the man admitted the technician "made a mistake" and offered to remove the part--but why would I have you take out something you already installed, especially when I never asked for it in the first place? I paid the fee, only to discover the camera was still malfunctioning--it overheats every 20 minutes, which is the same issue I originally brought it in for. Clearly, it was never properly diagnosed or fixed. When I finally had time to bring it back (about 3 months later), I explained the issue calmly. Instead of offering help or a second look, he immediately dismissed me, said there was a 30-day warranty (which he couldn't show me), and refused to look at the camera again. He then proceeded to call me a "bitch" under his breath and followed it up with "damn woman"--completely out of line and unprofessional. He offered no solution, no accountability, and no respect. In fact, when I pressed him further, he told me to "sue him" and walked away. I've never had such a disgusting experience with a business. I was disrespected, overcharged, ignored, and insulted. This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this photo restoration studio. I first came here to…read morerestore some foundational family photos for my mom's 80th birthday, and the results were beyond anything I could have hoped for. The images that are part of our family's legacy were brought back to life with such care and beauty. I loved the work so much that I came back again to have a childhood photo restored for 11 of my aunts and uncles as a birthday gift. What he does is truly artistry. He takes his time, pours his heart and soul into every image, and you can feel how much he genuinely cares about the stories behind the photos. In a world where so much is done quickly with AI, he is one of the rare artists still doing this work with incredible skill, patience, and heart. There is something almost spiritual about walking into this place and trusting someone with your most precious family memories. This will be the only place I trust with our valuable family photos. Truly exceptional work.

We went for an estimate for photo restoration and found the man we spoke to be... grumpy? Prickly?…read more He kept increasing the charges and insisting that we use a photo that had people we didn't want in it from the same occasion because the color was better in it. (We only brought that version as an example of what the true color should be.) After the price crept higher and higher and he became more insistent, we left. I'll probably try the subreddit for photoshopping that has experts who accept small tips. Pretty disappointing experience at a small neighborhood shop.
