Holiday reservations, $69 per person for the churrasco experience. My previous Fogo experiences have been hit or miss. I either get the best service, or none at all. Our server was lovely, but the meat carvers, also known as the gauchos were disappointing. We never saw the ribeye and beef ribs among other items. There were multiple, long dead periods around 10 minutes and even more times our table (actually, the entire row of tables) was skipped despite our service cards flipped to green. I also thought the market table here had less items than usual, particularly the charcuterie items like meat and cheese. Honestly, one of the more disappointing market tables I've seen at Fogo. I'd like to think it's because of the holiday rush, but can't say for sure. read more

This review is for take-out. I have ordered take-out twice from Fogo. While the food was fine, the service was not. Both times, my husband and I waited well past the pickup time. The first time (months ago), I can't remember what time they said the order was supposed to be ready. But when we arrived, we were told the order wasn't ready and ended up waiting an additional 30-35 minutes. For this recent order (Apr 10), we left our house at the time the order was supposed to be ready (6:20pm). We hoped to avoid waiting this time around. But unfortunately, the order wasn't ready when we arrived. We were given a 10 min additional wait time. Ok, fine. I go back in and we're told the meals were ready, but the 12-pc bread order wasn't ready and would be an additional 7 min wait. Ok, I wait again. I go back in and I'm told again the bread isn't ready. I knew where this was going. So I asked if we could just take what was ready of our order (our meals). The host obliged, returned and apologized and said there was some bread in the order (it came with our meals). I said that was fine and asked if we get a refund for the added bread order. I was told we probably wouldn't be able to get a refund because the order had already been processed. I told him that was ok and we'd contact the restaurant. I haven't contacted the restaurant because it's not that big of a deal. It was just $12 and we did get some bread. I'd rather write this review. If you're going to offer take-out, please try to remedy the service. Suggestions: 1. Perhaps just turning off online ordering during peak dining times is the way to go. If not, then... 2. Try to prioritize takeout orders in some way (have someone on staff dedicated to being in charge of takeout orders, so they're fulfilled in a timely manner). If #2 is not possible, then...3. At least try to give more realistic wait times. I'm fine waiting, but I'd like to know ahead of time it'll be 40-45 min. Many restaurants we order from are able to give real wait times online and I haven't had issues to this extent at pickup. At most, I've arrived and have had to wait 5 mins for my order to just be packed up. Perhaps a new ordering system is necessary to achieve the better times. The food is good, but the service here really needs help. We've also eaten inside once and the service was also a problem (I wrote about that at length). read more

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. We've been to both the Bellevue and Lynnwood Fogo de Chao locations many times and always left happy and stuffed. This time we left stuffed but not so happy. I understand they were very busy, but everything was very slow tonight. They were slow to give us our red/green cards. They were slow to replenish empty platters at the salad bar. And the thing that my husband was most aggrieved by was that it seemed to be "white meat night" at Fogo de chao. I lost count of how many times we were offered bacon wrapped chicken and Parmesan pork. Sausage. Pork belly. Chicken legs. But we don't come to Fogo de Chao to eat white meat. We come to a Brazilian STEAKHOUSE for the sirloin, the picanha, the filet, etc, and tonight it felt like we had to beg for it. And when the servers arrived tableside with the meat, they gave larger helpings to my husband and much small morsels to me and the kids. Much of which I gave away to my husband because it was all pretty rare and/or the meat I was given was full of sinew. The lobster that came with my upgraded meal was ok. Nothing to write home about. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if they'd served it with drawn butter. The woman who was keeping our water glasses filled and our bread topped off did a good job. She was very attentive. But when the meal was coming to an end, she asked me if I wrote reviews and when I said yes, she offered me a complimentary dessert in exchange for a five star review which was just really uncomfortable and awkward. For such an expensive meal, I expect a lot more. I hope this was just an off night, but I know my husband is going to be tough to convince to return after that lackluster experience. read more

The Lynnwood one is part of the Alderwood Mall accessible via outside only, not through the mall. The parking is challenging at times but generally available, just potentially farther. The inside is modern, pretty, and often crowded. It is a popular restaurant. Reservations is a must on weekends. We went on a weekend with reservations. The entrance is always crowded. We squeezed in to check in. Our wait was modest, maybe 10 minutes. Once in a while, Fogo de Chão runs offers a deal on their AYCE rodízio experience. We went during the October special last year. There are less meat options, but all the basic meat choices are included, plus the market buffet. They use different circular red/green coasters to let the rodizio servers know to stop at our table or not. Our plates remained filled with all the circulating meats plus the veggies, seafood from the buffet. We like the picanha and the bacon wrapped filet the most. They bring cheese bread, mashed potatoes, and yucca fries to the table. We declined all three focusing inside on the meats and the market buffet. Service was attentive with both water refills and the rodizio rotation. At the discounted rate, this is an easy 5 Stars experience. read more

We knew we only wanted the Market Table brunch and our server told us that most people come for the Churrasco. She was very polite and it didn't feel like she was trying to upsell us. Their Brazilian sausage was also just kept sitting on like a hot plate and was very dry. My favorite thing there was the maple bacon and their Belgian waffles. They would refill very quickly so everything felt fresh. The cheese bread they would bring to the table is very good. The place felt like it was fine dining. Seemed fancy enough to me. But there was also a bar in the back with two tvs with sports games on that kind of changed the vibe the area. But the interior is nice. Why the review isn't five stars: the service was very nice, but it just took forever for things to happen. We waited probably 40 minutes to get the check and have it be picked up and brought back to us. I know the table next to us was seated before us and somehow one of their orders got lost and they waited probably an hour and a half for the thing they ordered. Visited Fogo De Chao with my family for my fathers birthday and the staff and experience was lovely. Our server Roberto was attentive and was the best server. He assisted with my father's disability and made sure he had a great lunch which was greatly appreciated. All of the food was spectacular and well seasoned. We enjoyed the market table as well, our table was stuffed by the end of the meal. This was such great ambiance for my dad's birthday and they even gave him a complimentary dessert with a candle. I would give 3.5 stars. I have visited a handful of times since this location has opened, and there are a few aspects of operations they are still struggling with. First being the entrance and waiting area. This is always full of people standing and sitting right when you walk in, it's very uncomfortable to maneuver around, or even enter and exit the restaurant. It also seems they make patrons wait, despite at times having a huge, empty restaurant. The staffing. Their staff is poorly trained, and they lack collaboration. Big disconnect between the hostess, bar tender and servers. They're also seemingly always training new staff when we are in. It seems they cannot keep people, and the turn over/new staff and lack of communication is felt in your dining experience. Their food is always good. Whether you get an entree, rodizio, their open food bar or happy hour in lounge...taste and quality of the food are always on point. Hoping this location can succeed. It's a great addition to the Alderwood mall. I think there needs to be a massive overhaul in staffing and retraining with a focus on synergy, hospitality and higher touch service. read more

Second time at Fogo de Chão and I'm not really obsessed with this place. Don't get me wrong, AYCE Brazilian meat, with a salad and side buffet bar, endless mash potato's and cheesy bread that they bring out is nice for the price you pay. However, overall I felt like the quality wasn't there for me. Mash potatoes came out cold, the only meat that kept coming around was the sirloin or picanha. The ribeye was undercooked, the filet was chewy, and some meat had a really bad after taste to it. The ribeye barely came out unless you had specifically asked for it. Came here to celebrate my son's graduation and it was a horrible experience. 2/5 of our table, including my son, ordered the full experience where they bring different cuts of meat around the table. Unfortunately, we watched several servers offering meat to tables in the distance, while no one was coming to our table. My son sat with an empty plate for so long that most others were finished eating before he got his first offer of meat. Within about 15 minutes, he was feeling sick to his stomach and couldn't eat anymore. However, we noticed that the price of the Churrasco Experience has increased significantly, from $65 to $72/person. The meat selections we received were dry and lacked flavor, and we were only offered about six different cuts throughout the meal, which felt limited for the price. The salad bar was decent, but we would have liked to see a greater variety of fresh fruit options. My initial experiences were at the L.A. and Bellevue locations. I was excited to have one closer to home. Being completely honest, the 4th star was earned by one of the managers. Luke or Lucas I believe? Our issues are typically regarding server attention or long wait times between table check-ins that lead to us needing multiple things at once or forgetting things because it has been so long. Every time we have gotten this manager's attention he gets right on it with a polite smile and gets things done. The fact that his staff had nothing but great things to say about how he takes care of the diners AND the staff is refreshing. The food has been consistent, the Churrasco experience is our go to and does not disappoint. Great variety of meats, fresh sides and delicious drinks. I suggest voicing your needs to management when needed. They're on top of it, just wish it wasn't necessary. We do plan to try it again (down the road) for lunch or dinner to see if the market table might be different. The idea of a Brazilian Steakhouse is great... this restaurant falls way short on the execution. Expect long wait times to be seat (even with a reservation). We did the buffet where they walk around with the skewers or meat and cut it on your table. The reason it takes so long to be seated is because it takes so long to fill up... long intervals or waiters not coming to your table (even when you let your server know). I sat waiting 5-10 mins between new meats being served. I would see the cut I wanted but they'd walk it over to another sections. And when I finally got something I wanted, I'd get a bad cut of the meat or it was well done. They did give us a free dessert for our anniversary... but even that was a long wait. At least 10 minutes for the server to come back and say they were out of our first order. This happened twice, lol. Two times being here and it was the same experience both times - would not recommend. If you go here, maybe don't do the buffet and order specific meats so you can better control what food you get and your experience. For $17.50, you cannot beat this 6oz steak that was shareable! The blistered cheese and Lamb chops were my favorites of the night. The 6 lamb chops for $15 stole the show with no sign of gaminess or off-putting smell. They were cooked to temperature perfection and were well seasoned. Give Fogo De Chao a second try, this time at their bar/patio area.
