*As a vegetarian*, I got plenty to eat between the salad bar and sides brought to the table. For vegetarian protein, the only option was some plain cold beans. They only have the feijoada (beans) loaded with meat, as is traditional. I would be over the moon if they offered a vegetarian feijoada! The pao de queijo (cheese bread) was the best I've ever had, brought fresh to the table. The mashed potatoes, fried banana and grilled pineapple were also excellent. Would I choose to go there of my own accord though? No absolutely not, that is until they start serving vegetarian feijoada! Please!!!

If you are looking for an elevated bar menu and main character vibes, this is the place! The patio is beautiful and comfy with fire pit and white linen details. Highly recommend the crab cake, and I'm a seafood snob from Maryland, so this is the real deal! Most incredible I've found in SLC! The filet mignon board was also amazing! We were so swept up and hungry, we forgot to take pictures of entrees. Next time for sure! The moscato wine was generous and served in the largest beautiful glass, a bounty! The cucumber splash drink was refreshing and delicious, perfect compliments to our pairings! Loved the patio and bar bites! This was perfect after a girls day of retail therapy, just the ending we needed! We will be back often! I'd like to try the full Brazilian experience and wine room! So excited to have this in SLC and so close by, this could be dangerous!

Came in on a Friday night for a friend's birthday. Our reservation was at seven, but we weren't able to get seated until 715. I really like the design of the bar area. I didn't like the flags all over felt like it took away from the restaurant design. I'm sure it's for the World Cup! They have a $59 deal online if you mention it and it includes pretty much everything but the additional side. I was a little worried that we wouldn't get enough food, but there was plenty of meat going around. Save room, especially if you want to try different cuts because they're cooking as they go. The deserts were ok and decent size. Overall it was a great experience

I've been here twice now. Once for brunch and once for dinner. Unreal service and ambiance in both settings. The brunch had additional options at the nugget to include custom omelette and waffles. They were however out of waffles so we didn't get to try it... we dressed more casual for lunch. For dinner you absolutely need a reservations. And it's so fun cause you can dress up! Such a classy white tablecloth establishment. Please get the Brazilian lemonade. It. Is. So. Good. Ugh! We also got the waygu steak for the table. It's dinner and show when you order that! It feeds 2-4 people depending on how much you eat. They slice it at your table and transfer it to a hot salt rock so you can further sear it to your liking. We ordered it medium rare and it was delicious. We also got the buffet. Again, fabulous food and outstanding service. Everyone works together to make your visit amazing.

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 (it's really a 6/5!!) Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 4/5 First time trying our Fogo De Chão and it was so delicious!! We were sat down immediately with our reservations on a Saturday right before Christmas and got to ordering right away. The staff was incredible and took care of us - we felt like we were home. The market table had a great variety of salads, fruits, vegetables, and other items that accompanied the meal well. Once we started the meat rotations, we didn't try a meat we didn't like, however my *only* complaint is that there were supposedly 18 different meats available, but we only saw the same 7-8 rotating around. When we were done with the meal, we started to see different meats enter the rotation, which was a little disappointing considering we were there at 6:30 and left around 8:15. I really wish we would've gotten to see more of the meats before it was too late. Other than that, the service was fantastic. The Managers checked on us often asking if everything was good, and the gauchos really took care of us. Shout out to Alan (Manager), Tiffanie (server), Alex, and Gerson (gauchos), for making us feel like we're family. The price point is pretty high compared to the other Brazilian steakhouses, but from what I understand, this is on par with other Fogos as well. I can't wait to come back another day!

Came here on a date with my husband for a date night! We both got the 'Indulgent Churrasco'! One of us picked 'Butter-Bathed Lobster Tail' and the other picked 'Roasted Bone Marrow' we were both VERY impressed with both, but obsessed with the Roasted Bone Marrow! We'd definitely comeback JUST for the Bone Marrow! We had a special request for beef only and EVERY SINGLE SERVING was cooked perfectly to a medium rare! The salad bar was BEAUTIFUL, the colors and the way to was laid out. Absolutely stunning! It was recommended that we both got the $10.00 cocktails. Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha: DELICIOUS and Passionate Caipirinha: Refreshing! Dessert: Papaya Cream: Perfect Citrus-y but not too citrus! and Crème Brûlée: The service was amazing , everyone was so helpful but Michelle, that woman was a STAR! Her suggestions and care to our experience was 100000%!

This might be the best brazillian steakhouse I've been to. I would definitely say that the meats were cooked extremely well, even the drinks were fantastic, but the greatest separator between the others is the service. The staff was fantastic, and remembered how you like your meat cooked, if one skewer was well done, they would come back around with another one at medium rare. The selection was good, but the service was better. I do feel that their salad/sides bar was a little lack luster compared to the meats being offered. Though there were several items I was surprised to see, like smoked salmon and dragon fruit. I would definitely recommend visiting once, but I know that the price point of the restaurant was significantly higher than some of the others, and that might be a deterrent for me to visit unless there was a specific reason for going. They do have a reward program, but that does require several visits to get a reward. The restaurant itself is brand new, and a great spot to visit. The bar has a really cool decor and every detail has been designed with purpose in mind.

With the restaurant just opening this week the staff did a very good job. Water glasses were never more than half empty and we constantly had someone stop by to see if they could do anything to help us enjoy our stay. They even offered to have the kitchen make us something if we didn't see anything that we liked. All of the food was very fresh right off the grill. They had someone slicing fruit for the salad bar right in front of us. My favorites were the ribeye steak, filet minon, bacon wrapped steak, and the picahana.

Visited Fogo De Chao on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, we snagged reservations a couple months before! I got the Full Churrasco experience and my boyfriend got the Indulgent Churrasco with the lobster tail. All of the meats were perfectly cooked and juicy, we both liked the Picanha most. I got the skinny Caipirinha and it was alright. From what I understand, this location only recently opened up. I could tell they are still a little disorganized when it came to serving our table and keeping items in stock at the market table. Our experience still went pretty well, I think after a couple more months they should be running more smooth and I'd like to try them out another time!

Unfortunately, the start wasn't ideal. We sat for over 1t minutes without anyone checking on us, brining water, or even acknowledging our table. We skipped the appetizers, although several sounded tempting. For my entree, I ordered one of the four recommended dishes the Branzino Al Pastor. The sea bass was flavorful and cooked well, and I really enjoyed it. The only downside was that it had quite a few bones. I'd recommend asking for it to be deboned beforehand. Despite the rough start, the food, drinks, and service once we got going made for a very enjoyable meal. I'd definitely come back .

Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.

Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and exactly the right amount of present (if you know what I mean). I enjoyed the maitake on rice with cashew cream and it was delicious. Last night, I brought my team to the downtown Salt Lake City location with one goal in mind: to let them experience "Unreasonable Hospitality" not just hear about it. And once again, The Capital Grille delivered flawlessly. What makes this brand exceptional is its unwavering consistency. Whether I'm dining in Las Vegas on the Strip, Arizona, Michigan, Denver, or Florida, I know exactly what I'm going to get: - Impeccable service - Perfectly executed food (hot food hot, cold food cold--every single time) - An immaculate, elevated dining environment But Salt Lake City? This location is personal. It's special. Before the dinner, I reached out hoping to have my favorite server, Jeana, take care of us. She wasn't scheduled... but what happened next says everything about this team and this brand, she came in on her day off to serve us. And Jeana is simply exceptional. Her service is intuitive, polished, and completely effortless. She reads the table perfectly, anticipating needs before they're ever spoken, pacing the experience seamlessly, and delivering each touchpoint with genuine warmth and confidence. She doesn't just serve a table, she owns the experience, making every guest feel seen, valued, and taken care of at the highest level. That level of care, ownership, and pride is rare. From the moment we walked in, the experience was dialed in: - Hosts Kylie, Maeve, and Jasmine welcomed us with warmth and professionalism - Managers Janie and Aaron were fully present, orchestrating the floor and ensuring every detail was perfect - Every touchpoint--from greeting to dessert--felt intentional, polished, and elevated This wasn't just dinner. It was a masterclass in hospitality. If you're looking for a place that defines consistency, excellence, and what it truly means to care about the guest experience, The Capital Grille is it. And the Salt Lake City location continues to exceed even the highest expectations. Highly, highly recommend.

We had a reservation at Capitol Grille to celebrate our 2-year anniversary and were excited to…read morefinally try it. Unfortunately, we never even made it to our table. From the moment we walked in, the welcome felt cold. Before anything else, we were questioned about whether we had a reservation. After confirming we did, we were told my fiancé would have to turn his shirt inside out because it contained profanity. We honestly hadn't noticed the wording on his shirt, and while we understand a restaurant has the right to enforce a dress code, the way it was handled immediately made us feel unwelcome. We weren't about to spend $200-300 on an anniversary dinner after our first impression was being made to feel uncomfortable at the front door, so we left. There are plenty of excellent steakhouses with outstanding food, great service, and a much more welcoming atmosphere. We'll gladly spend our money at those instead. We won't be back.
