We booked a reservation for my birthday dinner at 7:30pm on a Sunday. We have been to Fogo de Chão before in other cities so were expecting a great experience. This location unfortunately let us down. When we showed up for the reservation, we were told we were checked in and added to a wait list. We asked what the point of a reservation was and we were told there wasn't one. We waited about half an hour after our reservation time to be sat. The service once at the table was very attentive which was appreciated. The food was ok, the appetizer bar was pretty picked through. We ordered chocolate lava cake for dessert which was luke warm at best. The restaurant was filthy. Like trash on the floor, napkins on the floor, and dirty bathrooms. The bar counter had not been wiped down and there were smudges and fingerprints everywhere. Overall, we were let down with our experience and I found myself disappointed for choosing Fogo for my special day. For the price point spent, we would've preferred to go somewhere else given our experience. read more

Came on a Sunday evening (of a holiday weekend) for our reservation at 7. Had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be sat and then were sat at the wrong table and were asked to move. Mistakes totally happen but, they also offered to comp something for the wait and mistake but when the bill came, there was no remedy. The food itself was also meh -- the sides were small portions and sort of flavorless including bread, potatoes and polenta. A fair few of the meats were over salted to the point of being inedible. We liked the grilled cheddar with honey, though. The only part about our visit I enjoyed was the big selection of food at the buffet and the cheap wine at $8/glass. read more

I took myself to celebrate a special occasion and was blown away by the incredible care by the staff . Special shout-out to Eddie, Moses, and Ulysses. Eddie helped me find my favorite slice of meat- he was patient, willing to go above and beyond, and made a special day even better. Ulysses's took the time to chat about Brazil and his background. He blew me away with his attention to detail. Moses treated me to a dessert and made sure I was taken care of the whole time. My how Fogo de Chao has fallen from its once mighty perch. Salad bars used to be a core part of the meal with shrimp, oysters and amazing salads. During this visit at the Denver location, all I could find was olives and two types of cheese. Bread was not even a decent option with only Italian bread available. Sadly, the meats were not better. The filets were so tough they were inedible. Lamb had a very off taste. Picanha steak used to be stellar. Now it is just ok. The only other worthy option was bottom sirloin... And BTW - this location did not participate in any nationally advertised promotions. Service was ok. But with bad food who cares. read more

This place can do no wrong. I have been coming here for years, mainly for the lunch service and always get the "full experience". The service has always been incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. Now let's get to the good stuff...the food. The Market Table is truly amazing and sells as a meal on its own. They have a great selection of cheeses and meats as well as every kind of salad you can imagine. Some of my favorite items from the Market Bar are the Bacon with Brown Sugar and the Apple Salad with cheese and Figs. Who comes up with these delicious combos? There is a lovely Latina chef who manages the bar and clearly takes pride in her work. The circulating meats are all wonderful. My favorites are the Bacon wrapped steak and the Tenderloin. You can have as much as you want and they go out of their way to make sure you get the doneness that you like. As if that was not enough, they bring this great cheese bread to the table along with fried bananas and mashed potatoes. I generally roll myself out of there when I go, but oh so worth it! read more

By 6:30 we had still not been seated so I asked the hostess if she could estimate how much more time it would take. Christmas Eve Dinner Great service and really good food Sierra kicked but on service along with the entire staff. The food was great must do the sweet corn and the potatoes salad. I thought making early reservations for Thanksgiving dinner was a sure way to get in at a decent time. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was a mad house. There were so many people standing around, waiting and no real organization. I was skipped a couple of times while waiting to check in until I pushed my way to the front. Upon checking in, I asked the hostess how long it would take and she told me she didn't know because there were a lot of people waiting with reservations. My reservation was originally for 7 p.m. I didn't get a text that my table was ready until 7:50 p.m. Thank God I wasn't starving because waiting an hour past my reservation time wouldn't have been pleasant. I ate a few things from both the salad bar and servers so here we go: ·       Stuffing: Decent flavor but extremely mushy ·       Potato salad: Not bad but could've used a little mustard and a pinch of salt ·       Sweet potato souffle: Good texture and flavor but I've never been a fan of marshmallows on top as it makes it too sweet ·       Top sirloin: Flavorful and cooked well ·       Bottom sirloin: Tender with a nice char on the outside but not enough flavor ·       Garlic steak: Slightly overcooked but still tasty but good garlic flavor ·       Lamb chop: The meat was really tough ·       Lamb steak: Tender with good flavor ·       Fried cheese w/honey; Who would think something simply would be so good? It's a thick cheese that's friend and drizzled with honey at the table. The service was ok, but the food was lacking. The sides are incredibly lack luster and the meat quality varied on the delivery. They brought some mashed potatoes to the table, but they were cold. I had some super overcooked filet, but some cuts were cooked ok. However, none of it knocked my socks off. The flavor is not there. I also had a lobster tail that was overcooked. Then we had desert and I had the molten lava cake. Which all they do is microwave those to heat them up. And mine was still cold with the chocolate still solid in the middle. They did replace it, but none of the food was great and you have to really, really, really love meat to find this place great. And I like meat fine, but I would like a decent side, which they really didn't have. Also, I saw them touch our plates with the rods holding the meat, which is cross contaminating the food. So, that's concerning, especially if someone is ill or has something contagious. read more

We had already given the other girl our order. So we order yet again. We have never ate here and were never instructed to help ourselves to the market table. We ended up asking a random waiter and he said of course. Like I said food was 8/10. He comes around and asks if we would like to order dessert (first waitress mentioned indulgent came with dessert). We ordered tres leches, molten cake and a key lime pie. Desserts were amazing 10/10. Got the bill. We paid. Left. And now I am looking at our receipt and we were charged for 2 of the desserts. Our server tonight was Zachariah, and he was outstanding! For our private party of 14, he did not miss a beat for any of us, and he was coming and going frequently! A few items of our seafood tower were a bit of a disappointment. The lobster wasn't cooked evenly (areas were raw), and several of the mussels tasted like grass (and had seaweed sticking out of some), which was off-putting. I had a few pieces of various meats come around that were quite rare. Some folks like that, but I'm not one. I learned after the third piece to ask for areas that are more done. The garlic steak was probably my favorite piece I tried tonight. For dessert we had the açaí cheesecake (not pictured), the chocolate brigadeiro, tres leches cake, and key lime pie. All options were fantastic; however, the chocolate was definitely heavier than the açaí and key lime pie options (if you're looking for something sweet but lighter*.) A Brazilian steakhouse that gets it right! The atmosphere is beautiful, the drinks are great and the food is fabulous! The service is also impeccable! The salad bar is to die for! It has items you don't usually see on a salad bar! Honestly, you could get full just from the salad bar but don't do that because the food keeps coming and coming! They come to your table with various meats cooked perfectly on large skewers and carve it off right in front of you. They came by with sausages, bacon wrapped steaks, bone in ribeyes, fillets, top sirloins, chicken and other delectables. This is a great place for a special night or just pure indulgence! The food is always superb when coming here. The meat is always fresh and it's so well seasoned. The only reason why this restaurant wasn't rated higher was due to the customer service. The waitress at first was really attentive and made sure to make her rounds to come by. However, I waited for almost an hour trying to order dessert and get my check. I'm unsure if I came at a weird time between a new shift. I'm just disappointed since I was eating solo and wasn't taking up much time or asking for much either.
