    Fennel Sausage Pizza

My husband and I went here on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed it. The place was busy but we made a reservation a few hours before just because there was a time available and we figured better safe than sorry! Our server was great and the food was delicious! We only got the chicken wings and the fennel sausage pizza. I had two glasses of the chilled red wine and it was really good too - I think it was called Es Okay My husband said the chicken wings were good but very heavy on the sauce (I didn't have any so I can't say). The pizza was fabulous though!! Great crust and great flavor!! We took some home as leftovers and it heated up great in the oven the next day!! Will definitely go back and try more menu items / pizzas!

I want to start off by saying that we waited three hours to be seated. To no fault of Folks Pizzeria our party size just kept changing BUT alas we got to be seated and MAN OH MAN. The wait is worth it would I do a three hour wait...no! But again to no fault of them it was just what we had to do. They seat you pretty fast so if you join the waitlist make sure you keep an eye on the alerts we went from number 60 on the list to 10 in like 45 minutes and then got the alert our table was ready. So to the food. The chicken wings?!?!?! I will be coming back just for those. Dam the portions were 10/10 we were like wait? 10+ chicken wings for three people? yes!!! We also ordered the Cesar salad... flavor was good I just dont like the whole greens being so big and not chopped up it's so inconvenient to eat. We also got the meatballs.. BOMB the sauce that its in? So good, we used the left over sauce to eat with the bread. then the PIZZA! Not a big fan of the burn crust tbh but other than that big slices and so so so good. I wish they had something like Hot honey to drizzle on top that would have sent it over to the moon. So, yes we will return.

We came by to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday with some friends, and Folks definitely delivered. Staff were attentive and kind, the environment was energetic, food was very good. I'm still dreaming about these meatballs. The sauce had a light bisque flavor to it that elevated the taste. Our only real complaint comes with the cookies. They were a bit crumbly, and we wish they came warm.

The food here was pretty good, not the greatest. We had the pepperoni pizza which was okay, and the appetizer wings which were better. The pizza was quite oily which really isn't what we like, you may like your pizza oily and that's okay. The wings though were better. We asked the waitress how they are before ordering and she said they're great, and she wasn't lying, she even recommended squeezing the lemon over the wings per whar the chef replayed. When we went it was quite hot inside so we were sweating a little, the AC needs to be on or some fans moving some air around at least. Overall okay food, great service, nice location, and nice atmosphere. I would recommend trying out the food at least but I don't think we will go again.

While Folks had good pizza, it is definitely not worth the wait! Time stamps: put ourselves on the waitlist at 6:22 PM for a group of 3 -37th in line, hovered between 4th-1st place from 8-8:30 PM, got seated by 8:30 PM, ordered by 8:35 PM, pizza got to the table after 9:00 PM, finished eating 9:20-9:30 PM. Our original estimated wait was to be seated 7:23-7:53 which was largely very wrong, beware! Even if you join the waitlist earlier, definitely be prepared to wait longer if you're larger than a party of 2. Pay attention to your phone as you get up on the list as they also send a text saying to respond within a few minutes otherwise you will be removed from the waitlist. They close by 9 PM so it does feel a little silly to have been on the list since 6:20 PM to get pizza after 9 PM. Didn't try any of the cocktail drinks but the inside is def very cute, vibey, loud with baseball and football playing on the screens. Caesar salad had a nice touch with the anchovies. Our favorite pizza was the Jimmy Nardello pizza which had a good balance between sweet and salty. You can tell that the dough is good and pizza is very fresh, but it wasn't anything amazing. They do warn you it takes about 20-25 minutes for the pizza to come out, but the pacing of service and food coming out still feels very slow despite being open for a few months now. Folks has room to improve, but nothing was memorable enough for me to want to come back based on tonight.

Folks Pizzeria has been such a wonderful addition to the Culver City Helms District! I recently visited on Thursday around 5:30pm and there were plenty of tables open, which quickly started to fill up as dinner started to pick up. I really loved how modern yet cozy the restaurant felt. My party of 3 ordered a few things: - French Fries - Fennel Sausage Pizza - Mushroom Pizza - Side of Ranch (which was a very generous portion) - A few alcoholic drinks The pizza portions are huge!! Two pizzas were more than enough for our party of 3. The crust was the major highlight of the whole meal: chewy with a nice char without being too heavy! It made eating multiple slices of pizza possible, despite running out of stomach room I highly recommend everything I ordered, but I'm excited to explore more of the menu next time I visit!

Hadn't been to the OG location so when it hit my radar this place opened up in Culver City, not even two days later, I was sitting at the bar with a friend, catching up and enjoying some great food and drinks. For starters, it's in the Helms Design District so if you can find parking, it's free in the lot in and around the shops. I was lucky and found a spot so I can't comment on the street parking. Just check the signs or call and ask. Walked up with a reservation. Even on a weekday, I'd recommend it. Seating indoors, outdoors and at the bar. A few empty spots when I arrived. Jam packed when I left. Arrived just before dinner time. Sat at the bar. Service was great even with how busy it was. the two behind the bar (forgot their names) were nice and friendly. Paying attention to the task at hand or the customer they were engaged with. Not just listening while doing other things. Acknowledging others but still making sure they were paying attention to you. I appreciate that level of service. And the food. The food was great. See pics. Huge portions. I couldn't and didn't finish the salad. My friend took home half the pizza. devoured the fries though. And the drinks. And I'd do it all again. Sitting at the bar trying different dishes and drinks. I wouldn't be surprised if it's sooner rather than later.

Loved how modern and casual this spot was. Very cute and aesthetic. Great for big parties but also intimate dates or dinner with friends. Great prices as well. The four of us split a 14" inch pizza (6 slices total), 4 meatballs total, Cesar salad, and the bread and butter and it was around $80 and we were stuffed. We couldn't even finish the last 2 slices of pizza. Their house made ranch was 3 oz and definitely was worth the extra side of ranch cost. The service was quick and the food came out fast and hot. Their pizza was crunchy and flavorful. Will definitely be coming back!

We joined the Yelp waitlist before 6 pm on a Friday and the total wait was only ~20 minutes. But by the time we were seated, the wait had gone up to almost an hour so definitely recommend going early! The ambiance is nice and open and they have a large variety of cocktails and wines. The pizzas are quite large and easily feed 2 people. This is a great addition to this plaza, and theres a free parking lot behind the furniture stores!

Long wait but you can add yourself to the waitlist via Yelp. Wasn't really a fan of the dough on the pizza :( Meat balls were ok. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and service is quick. If you order the lemonade you get a free refill and the servings of ice ranch are large.

Wow, I am so happy we got to try this place! We arrived on a Friday evening right at 5pm and were lucky to get seated right at the bar with virtually no wait. (The line definitely piled up after!) The staff were all super helpful and friendly. I was super hungry and ordered two sides and a pizza to share- portions are super generous! We ended up having leftovers. The pizza dough was super chewy and fluffy; the crust is a bit thick which my husband loved but I was impartial to. The arancini was so crisply fried and flavorful! We were so full after we went to ikea to walk around ;) Can't wait to come back again and try other pizza options!

Went here for a date with my boyfriend after seeing some local Tiktok's and walking by it. I was able to get on the waitlist and was pleasantly surprised to find that we were sat down much earlier than the estimated time once we checked in. The waiter made sure to let us know that everything should be ordered at once and that pizzas would take around 30-35 minutes once the order was placed. Our salad came out pretty quick. It was more of a vinaigrette taste than typical caesar dressing, but was pretty good. Our pizza took a bit longer than expected but was very hot and a great portion size. I wise the cookies were warmed up, but they were super soft. Additionally, the waiters were fantastic at refilling our water constantly which I appreciated. If I were to come back I would probably try the meatballs and the mushroom pizza as both of those looked great at other tables!

Came on a Thursday evening and it was crowded !! The wait was about 40 minutes so make sure to join the yell waitlist. Meatballs came with the bread and the sauce flavor was amazing. The bread was like and airy and had a great crunch on the outside while soft on the inside. We ordered a side of butter to go with it and it seemed to be whipped, slightly tangy, and with herbs and spices inside. The butter was either hit or miss with my group. We also had a ceasar salad I didn't get a picture of because we were so hungry we went all in so fast. It was one of the best ceasars I've had in a while. The pizzas were spectacular !! I'm guilty of always leaving the crusts behind but the crust here is amazing I actually finished it all

Sinners & Saints Desserts offers a splurge for a luscious dessert, yet scrumptious for those that need gluten-free treats. Be mindful that their kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free one, but precautions are taken to minimize cross contamination. I used to work in the area & came across this bakery, but never got around to trying them out. Since my daughter's birthday was coming up, I thought about trying them out since their desserts were beautifully displayed... they should taste good, right? I ordered the current favorite flavor: red velvet, & asked if they could decorate it with pink flowers & birthday message in red. The cake looks plain with just 3 pink roses, but the birthday cursive was pretty good; however, for the price, it wasn't worth eating a super dry cake. Our family of 4 barely ate 1/3, & tried giving it away to our neighbors, who were also unimpressed. The Smack Pie was supposedly a decadent chocolate lover's sinful treat. It was meh... the ganache wasn't silky-smooth but did taste fudgy, the caramel was hard, & the peanuts were stale. We did enjoy the Banana Cream & Lemon Blueberry Tarts to offset the very dry birthday cake. Luckily, I bought these to compensate for the cake so the birthday girl was happy in the end. Sinners & Saints Desserts sounds like a deliciously tempting bakery but some of their goods miss the mark. I don't think I'll be purposely sinning here much. Recommended: Lemon Blueberry & Banana Cream Tarts.

The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. First, the ice cream. Every time I visit with my brother and order my usual (shout-out to the Butterscotch Oreos and Fudge!), I am ALWAYS provided the most generous of scoops, often more than enough to have leftovers for days following. The rich, smooth, and creamy texture paired with the familiar yet refined flavor profiles never fails to leave me satisfied and smiling :) However, my affinity for the sweet treats served at this establishment means NOTHING without the team-members that make Ginger's what it is. The team here is consistently warm and welcoming, never failing to ensure every visit is equal parts helpful and hospitable. Like I wrote above, I often come here with my brother, but it's the team and their positive vibes that make it feel like home. In closing, this parlor is WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT the best in the West (Los Angeles area), and I won't hesitate to continue supporting this quality establishment

I've gone through phases with the flavors too. Every time I walk through the doors, it genuinely feels like I'm seeing friends. Everybody says what's up, remembers you, jokes around with you..it just feels good being there. Shoutout to Malaika for making my order today!! Got to hear about what she's studying in college too, and I'm genuinely bummed she's leaving in a month And Jeffrey deserves a shoutout too because that dude is hilarious.
