Steak was made well done though when we asked medium well .. the potatoes were soft and yummy. The fish & rice was great! A fried ball of flavored rice topped with a thick cut of seared tuna with some I believe unagi and spicy mayo sauce.. it went well together! I loved it! My main dish was the braised short ribs .. it was so tender you did not need to cut it with a knife! 2 thumbs up! My friend's main dish was the seasonal pasta add shrimp... I didn't try it but it looked delicious Our server was great! He was attentive and made sure to come by to refill and ask if we needed anything ever so often. Perfect place for a nice sit down and chat and enjoy some delicious food

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. The food, however, was outstanding and was definitely the highlight of the evening. Every dish we ordered was well-prepared and delicious. Service was a mixed experience. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

My husband and I were recommended this place by a friend who said it has the best tacos he's had…read moresince living in SoCal, and we absolutely agree. The food is SO good with everything made in-house and a clear passion is there with the quality and flavors. My husband had the "roadkill" burrito (pork belly with cheese and other yummy stuff) and I had the pork belly, Nashville hot, and quesabirria tacos along with their dulce de leche churros and vanilla bean gelato. Oh, and you start out with chips and 4 types of really good salsa. It was hard to pick out favorites, but we decided the peanut chipotle and roasted carrot habanero were goated; the other two were also also excellent, but can't help favorites. I'm terribly full and happy and can't wait to go back. The service was excellent, also. Presuming the name on the receipt was for the main person who chatted with us, Erik was funny and ended up being helpful with a side passion my husband's tackling (middle aged men and their love of smoking meat, amirite?). Jokes aside, everyone who works there was super chill and clearly stands by the food they serve. Thought it's not exactly SoCal, I grew up with Mexican friends in Bakersfield, all being either first-gen Americans or immigrants themselves, and had some of the best food ever while attending quinces or house parties, and it's been a long time since I've had deliciously authentic food like this. Also, totally unrelated to food but I like their bathroom setup. Their entire interior was super clean and cozy, but I appreciate when places don't have the odd typical American stalls where you can make eye contact through the gaps in the doors.

Have gotten smaller since the last time we came. I will say that I'm realizing the taco size is a bit on the small side. To really get full (especially for those who let's say didn't have a big lunch) it would be good to get 2-4 tacos for dinner. We have only tired tacos here from the Quesabirria to the octopus, roadkill to the cauliflower, and the al pastor and some other ones. So far they were tasty, some more salty than the others. I would say one of my favorite items is the elote, I recommend getting the whole corn that looks charred vs the bowl. The bowl doesn't do it justice and tastes like your eating corn from a can; there's no charred pieces. The chicharronnes appetizer was a good touch it tasted fresh and hot. The cucumber pineapple agua Fresca was also good, try it with Tajin on the cup. We had churro with ice cream for my mom-in-law's bday and wish they had other fun dessert options to share. One critique about our server was that he was not as attentive to our request: I called beforehand to let them know about the birthday and when we were done eating he hands us the check. So I had to go and talk with him; even after that he comes back with the plates for dessert which ended up no longer being a surprise which we had initially wanted it to be. And they also do NOT sing happy birthday here which is a bummer, but nonetheless we sang for our mom. Would we come here again, maybe but we may check out the Roseville location.

We walk in an we are immediately amazing at how beautiful the inside of the building is and to know this building is historic and well maintained is pure perfection. We were greeted my a male bartender who got us waters and then we were ultimately served by the female bartender who helped us. We wanted her to make us custom bring and we asked her to surprise us. The only question she asked is what our preferred alcohol of choice was. I went with Tequila and my friend Gin. I have no clue what she made either on of us, but baby when I tell you my cocktail was fantastic! This bartender didn't come to play, she is the absolute truth. My drink had a little kick to it which was good with a smoky taste with a hint of fruit flavor. It's like nothing I had before, but I would ask for it again. I'm glad I took a photo lol. The service was great both bartenders were so cool, welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend checking them out!

We got there early for dinner and for a while were the only ones in the dining room. My old fashioned was delicious and everyone enjoyed their food. My bavette steak was super tasty. But thank goodness we got appetizers because we waited a long time for our entrees. Our server was super nice and kept checking on us but we were starving by the time it got there. Would definitely be five star without the long wait.

The music is always on point, setting the perfect tone whether you're there to unwind or get work done. Their acai bowls are a must-try--fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. I've tried a few, and each one hits the spot without feeling heavy. The Cloud Breakers (Kava) are also top-tier--smooth and effective, with a great range of flavors. If you're into Kratom, they've got solid options for that too, with knowledgeable staff ready to guide you. Whether you're a regular or just curious about Kava and Kratom culture, Blend offers an inclusive and welcoming experience. It's a great hangout spot with good food, good drinks, and great energy. Definitely worth checking out. After reading some of the other Yelp reviews about one of the managers Jayden, I was hesitant--but my experience couldn't have been more different. Jayden actually helped guide me through a handcrafted experience with both the food and Kava. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what Blend offers. It honestly seems like those past negative reviews were either exaggerated or completely false--whatever the case, his behavior has obviously been corrected, if there was ever an issue to begin with.
