Absolutely love the garden enchiladas. Mushrooms and spinach and cheese and fresh tortillas with green sauce.

Hands down the best breakfast we had this trip. Such a great addition to our neighbor. My husband and I enjoyed our eggs and the salsa was amazing. Can't wait to come back for lunch and dinner.

Excellent! Best meal during our 4 day trip to Vallarta. Made from scratch, authentic and flavorful dishes. Must try the cafe de olla. It was the best out of 3 I tried during trip. The optional vanilla creamer with the cafe de olla made it superb. Great and attentive service. You won't be disappointed with this place. Well worth it!

Lovely little spot. Try it out. I have an apt here in Zona Romantica. I'm always hitting up these small neighborhood gems. Lunch and dinner specials are great. Service and food were superb. Ask for the different salsas. .

If you're from out of town and want an authentic place to eat, this is the place! I tried other places nearby, they were too touristy for me. But this place hits the spot!

A nice hidden gem in zona romantica!! Need to come and try EVERYTHING!!!!! Hands down the best mole in town!! I love enchiladas and these were too notch!!! I ate here every day

Best meal we had in Mexico by far! Service was great, nice quiet atmosphere. Real Mexican food, not touristy americanized food. We would have eaten there for every meal if we could have, seriously! I will be dreaming about the guac and the molé sauce!

    Gorgeous open kitchen!

What a wonderful little find on our way to the Mercado. We stopped in for breakfast, the owner is so welcoming and shows pride in everything she does. The restaurant is small but beautifully appointed, they have a beautiful open kitchen so you can watch the talented chefs prepare your meal. The food is amazing, prepared using great local ingredients and local recipes. The best Chilaqulies and Machaca that we have had in town, I can't wait to try the Mole! Well worth the short walk up the hill!

I have been to Puerto Vallarta 3 times in the last year. I was there for a quick 3 day trip in October 2021 and I ate at least one meal a day there. I also had the agua fresca of the day and all I can say is that each one was even better and more refreshing than the last! I took the whole family this past January and I will be posting more deliciousness about the trip. Stay tuned!

You have to pluck a third of the meat with your fingers just to get the tortilla to structurally hold. There is always a line. On a random Tuesday it stretched down the street long before the door opened. I waited twenty five minutes at four in the afternoon for a seat inside. No to go orders, no doggy bags. You eat what you order and leave behind your self respect. The dining room is packed tighter than a turtle's pecker. A dozen staff members move around each other like bees tending the hive, the rhythm wild and relentless. The tacos themselves are intimidatingly large, the vibe unlike anything I have ever seen. Come for the al pastor, and come hungry. If you cannot finish, no option exists but to weep over the abandoned morsels.

It's thicker, more cheesy than what I've ever had before and very delicious. We paired that with the prime rib tacos, it was a plate stacked with meat and 4 tortillas under it, more than we could eat. The seasoning was great, it was diced so small that it was easy to eat. I got a virgin strawberry margarita, the wife got a coke. It was very affordable.

Vegans are easy please. Give them clear marked options, even if there is one option, we are pleased. This place had a few clearly marked options plus the staff was fully aware and can provide suggestions. The only downside it is a cash only place. Guacamole and chips - fantastic. The guacamole freshly prepared and chips fresh fried. Amazing. The 3 types of vegan tacos we got were vegan chorizo, mushrooms and cactus (trying for the fist time). The vegan chorizo was the best, slightly spicy but not overly. The poblano peppers were predictable but very good. The onions with it were a good addition. Nicely seasoned and prepared. The cactus was good, we found that it was less seasoned. Just stir fried cactus. The star of all the three types tacos was the fresh blue corn tacos. We could have those everyday. The other superb tasting was the salsas and fresh toppings. 4 types of salsas, white onions and cilantro. The salsa were of varying different levels of heat and even the mildest salsa was the best. The virgin margarita and virgin mojito were great. Margarita being slightly better even though we love mint. Good atmosphere, clean surrounding and great service and vegan food - what more can one ask?

After spending 6 glorious days relaxing and eating our way through the city, we decided to have a special meal for our last night. And what an impeccable meal it was. We decided to do the tasting menu with the standard wine pairing and we are so happy we did. We were taken through a journey of amazing flavors, textures, food stories, and visuals. Each dish and glass of wine was described by our server with such detail I could not wait to dive right in. The wonderful reviews for Tintoque are absolutely validated and we highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.
