Ordered 2 rolls through slice. The app was updating saying my order was enroute and arrived. I got a text saying delivery would be later because the restaurant was busy. I was left waiting over an hour and a half and the app finally updated saying my order had arrived. Nothing. The restaurant confirmed and cancelled my order and I received no updates. Neither the restaurant or the app offered anything outside of a refund leaving me starving before heading out for Halloween. Thanks Fontana and Slice, I'll never use either of you again. Ordered delivery from here last night and it was pretty darn phenomenal. We got the veggie panini, stuffed mushrooms, and a pizzette to split between my husband and myself and I think it was the perfect amount of food for one meal. Both my husband and myself automatically said that we'd order from this place again, and soon, and that's not something that we usually agree upon so quickly. The veggie panini had a ton of flavor in the veggies and the fact that the bread part was basically a giant garlic knot was an absolute win. I want to try their actual garlic knots now, so definitely will have those as part of the next order. The pizzette was good, but did arrive cold and needed reheating. That being said, it was made well and it reheated fine. The delivery was almost 20-30 minutes late. We had it scheduled for 8:00 and it didn't get to us until almost 8:30. The delivery driver admitted to getting lost, so this isn't something I'm going to fault the restaurant on as it wasn't on them. read more

First order was a success. I have only tried them once with delivery but they didn't let me down. I got an eggplant roll, which had plenty of eggplant slices with breading that actually stayed on. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and the dough had great flavor. I also enjoyed their fried ravioli, which was 9 mini ravioli and a side of yummy marinara for one serving. We've been Middle Village residents for 5 years and have always be loyal to one pizza place. After seeing so many amazing reviews we finally tried Fontana. We were so angry that we waited so long to try it! Everything they have is amazing. Super fresh and delicious. The spinach artichoke pie is literally what dreams are made of. We've also had their broccoli bites (a favorite of my 5 year old), regular/pepperoni pies, jalapeño poppers, garlic knots and grandma pie. We have never been disappointed! I am a regular customer and generally always order a large pie with 1/2 sausage. Today, I ordered and something was way off with the sausage and also the cheese. The sausage completely tasted like it went bad. When I contacted the support on Slice (who contacted the pizzeria), all they offered me was $2 refund for the topping - like I'm going to eat the rest of the pizza with juice from gone-bad sausage and sour mozzarella. One of my top favorite pizza places in Queens, I love this place so much! My boyfriend and I especially like to get the pizzettes because they are a reasonable price for us to each get the pizza we want, and also make AMAZING leftovers when you pop them in the oven the next day. I like to alternate between the Napoli pizzette when I'm in a fancier, more elevated mood or I get the American pizzette which hits the spot when I'm in the mood for a slightly greasier, more dollar-Slice style mood. The garlic knots are also perfect. The real great thing about this place is that they have been open almost every night during this COVID-19 crisis, they always deliver in a reasonable amount of time, and I have to reiterate how nice it is to have a place that makes a great dinner but also a great lunch the next day. I stopped in for a couple of slices a few days before all hell broke loose with the virus. This is a small place with a few tables past the counter. The slices are ok, but not up to Rosa's in terms of quality. They are on the small and thin side. Prices are standard for a Queens pizza place. When things get back to normal I could see myself here for a quick slice when hungry. read more

This is a solid pizza place. Pizza is delicious and so are the pasta dishes. Recommend sticking with typical pizzeria food like pizza, pasta, rolls, calzones, etc. as this is where Fontana excels. Haven't tried, but their paninis look amazing as well.
