This restaurant has a stylish, casual atmosphere with inside, bar, and outdoor eating sections. I noticed families, couples, friends and groups there so it appears that most everyone would be comfortable at this spot. The menu isn't large but does offer vegan and gluten-free options. The carrot ginger soup is delicious! The Roasted Butternut Squash and Brussel Sprouts Salad is enormous. I wouldn't order the Kung Pao Tofu entree - the sauce was overpowering and there was only 6 smaller pieces of Tofu. There is live music throughout the week. Our first visit today and it was excellent. The blackened grouper sandwich was very good. Two in our party had the burgers with seasoned wedge fries and another had the BLT. I like this place because it offers gluten free baked items ( scones cupcakes, carrot cake you name it). I also love their rotisserie chicken because it's not too salty and tastes natural, so does the cranberry chicken salad . It's a bit pricier but totally worth it for some specialty items. I wanted to like this place and wanted it to be sincere Chicken soup just wasn't good and thick gelatin texture. Turkey sandwich only ok but expensive. Taco salad was well a taco salad with greens that maybe were organic but old. More disappointing is I always try and find organic products. This place advertised as All Organics everything It's not. Came here for lunch and I was honestly pretty disappointed. I know they just opened, but we waited over an hour for our food and it was not busy. My Turkey sandwich was $17 and was very small, nothing special. The gluten free bread crumbled completely. The salads are pretty much just lettuce and chicken is an extra $9. Crazy that a house salad with chicken would be $21! I really do love seed to table and the original food and thought but definitely not impressed with this new restaurant. read more

Finally made time to check out the new Food + Thought 2. I arrived at an odd time apparently for the restaurant...lunch had just ended and dinner was had not started. There are some "bar appetizers" and soups abd salads available in between but found mostly the appetizers limited. Unless you wanted a mini pie! We were seated at table in bar area and was hard to get any service. Bartender initially stopped by table and reviewed the tablet menus. That was a cool concept - having the tablets. We ordered a few apps and some cocktails. The food was good- great flavors but overpriced for the portion size. The cocktails were yummy and pretty standard cost (about $12). After the shift change with the server, we settled her up and stayed to enjoy the afternoon. We had limited contact with any server/Bartender unless we hunted someone down when we needed something. The bar peeps rarely smiled and made me feel like it bothered them I was there. Service was extremely poor. The decor is beautiful but the service left bad taste for me. And I get people will say, well you know they could be having a bad day. Well, it wasn't busy at all and the 3-4 bartenders all acted the same so I don't by it. Very arrogant and rude. I will definitely try the market next door when open but not the restaurant. This is a disappointment coming from a family who love seed to table. The ambience was amazing, I would go back just to have a drink and talk with some friends over a beautiful aesthetically pleasing location. The food is all organic and locally sourced, considering that I have to say the food was good. We only went for breakfast, so I'm not sure how lunch or dinner taste. Our waitress did tell us that they were planning to go all gluten free within two years I believe. Considering that, I hope that they still keep some gluten products for those who aren't affected. Kudos to the designers, place is lovely, staff are super nice, great vibe. Slightly disappointed with a few food items. Fish was very dry, beet risotto was bland and gooey. Need to work on the timing of the food coming out. There were 5 in our party and one person's food came out and the rest of us had to wait approximately 15min for our food to arrive. The biggest issue I have is the fact that the shrimp and grits is under "starters" AND as an entree on the menu yet it's the same portion size and same price also 3 shrimp with a SMALL amount of grits for $20. We asked the server to make sure since it was in two places on the menu, she came back told us it was correct. Poor service We sat at the bar as it was happy hour. We had to ask the hostess to get the bartender to help us. Her demeanor is pleasant and she made a nice drink, but, she was preoccupied with a guy at the other end of the bar. And it was. poor cooked pizza, rubber feeling, no bumpy crust and the final test was that if the dough is not completely risen the thirst will be your companion along the digestion. stopped in at 8:54 on a Tuesday for a bite... they close the kitchen at 9 so we had to beg to order fast since we did show up at 8:54. ginger carrot soup= bowl of nutmeg sent it back mushroom bisque= microwaved to a bowl of this mushroom water sent it back beet salad= half decent wayyyy to many onions told the server we're sharing the salad, so she went ahead and had the kitchen split it for us (without asking) and charged an extra cost for the service. definition of a salad trying too hard drink= vodka diet server asked "what kind of diet?" I said "oh! do you have more than Diet Coke?" servers says "no?" so yeah... that diet poor serve and cost the same as the salad it's only redeeming quality is the cool outside seating. maybe an ok spot for expensive watered down drinks in the winter. read more
