Was craving a burrito the other night and I didn't want to go to chipotle since they've been on the news for outbreaks so I decided to try Mariposa taqueria. I ordered an al pastor burrito to go. Service was perfect as usual. The burrito itself was good and tasted amazing but what I didn't like was there was no hot sauce or napkins on the side nor napkins and I was still left hungry afterwards since it wasn't that big. So portion size it was okay. Taste wise 9/10

This salad was spicy but flavorful. Love paneer. This is only on the lunch menu which ends at 2, just fyi!

Great place to grab a bite or stay and watch one of many FIFA World Cup matches. Was there for the Brasil Morocco game and it was perfect location to watch on a big screen and away from some other venues that are too packed / claustrophobic.

Watching soccer at the Time Out Market Union Square was a different experience from Ollie Ollie. There were so many people here and as there were 4 screens everyone could see the game nicely. This was the first time that I got a table where I kept a seat for Helga where she too had a good view. We watched Switzerland vs Columbia which went into penalty shootout. As Smashed had opened here I ate a tasty single cheeseburger and the sweet potato fries. Both the burger and fries were scrumptious! I ate every crumb from the box. Helga also noted that the fries were superb. In fact I dreamed about those fries for a few weeks! Service at TOMUS is nice as servers brought customers orders and took away plates. I asked for a cup of ice for my water. Bathroom boxes are on receipts but it's easy to get the code from people who work here. While I enjoyed the game here I think because of the huge crowd we both missed Ollie Ollie Market. Both of us also had a delicious hot cappuccino from Cafe d'Avignon where Stephanie and José work. Naturally I got my favorite Cranberry Pecan Shortbread which is heavenly. I could eat three in quick succession!

Visited at opening time so all the other outpost restaurants weren't open yet. The main bar area is open early as they serve café drinks and breakfast pastries . I ordered at the counter. Service was quick and staff friendly. I stayed as it was pouring outside. There were a few other customers enjoying the quiet space. They have qr codes on the table and you can order directly from that (it notes your table number). Very convenient , beats a crowded queue at lunch or dinner time. Lots of seating and there's even a small outdoor (uncovered) space with additional seating . There are more seats than the previous dining hall that occupied the space . Full bar- cocktails, wine, beer etc. Will return for lunch soon . Building has accessible entrances and bathrooms.

My least favorite time out market yet. I've been here twice. Everything is overpriced and the food is not very good. Tried from the Thai, Mexican and Indian spots. All subpar and would not recommend. I would encourage you to check out the other locations before this one.

Thank goodness for the Happy Hour sign outside of the place. As well as a $5 off $25 or more qr code. I decided to give this place a try for a cocktail. I went with the Thymes Square drink. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD! My expectations were exceeded. The perfect amount of sweet and sour. I enjoyed the drink so much I think about it every now and again. HA! Cant wait to get it again,

Newly open food court by Union square. It was urban space before. The whole place is renovated with beer house theme. It a darker wooden tone. Very buzzing and lots of people. They have booths, regular tables and high tables. Also outdoor seatings are available. The market has a link for putting orders online first, not all the restaurants are online yet (https://timeoutunionsquare.5loyalty.com/pick-up-at-counter). You can also grab a table then order by the link/QR code. You can choose to pick up the food or someone will bring it to you. Service crew members are constantly walking around to clean and deliver food. Nice setup. However, those restaurants are more on the expensive side. I prob will visit once in a while because there are many other choices around.

This is a great addition to Union Square, but there are still some kinks that need to be sorted out for this to be a successful venue. 1) The online ordering system was a bit more complicated than needed - a group of us that are tech-savvy took a few tries to complete the order, some just gave up and ordered in person. Also, if it is your first time, look for the $5 off code somewhere. 2) Wait time for food delivery was too long, and this was all before the place got crowded. 3) Cocktail order arrived after food - apparently there was only one bartender working there on a Saturday noon time. 4) You can't switch between pick up and delivery once the selection is made (would require to start from the beginning), so select wisely!

This a cool little spot. Plug in charge up and get some work done. Free football table available. I met my aunt today for lunch we dined at kham thai, we ordered spring rolls shrimp pad thai no peanuts and no eggs. It was good just more saucy then I recall. I went to smashed express and got the single smash box meal pretty good deal for 18 burger cup of fried and a drink. I chose the classic glass bottle coke. They have patio dining available. A full bar in here and other eateries . Worth checking out. Nice tunes playing in the background.

Rum punch from the bar was really delicious it was smooth sweet and the cinnamon was lovely and the bartender super funny and friendly he even brought it to my table. I got the crab fried rice from kam and it was a big portion that green sauce was addictive on the rice and I will be returning it was delicious.

    Steak frites Lori Jayne
    Jenna I.

Came here for dinner with a friend and it was suspiciously quiet! No lines, open tables, downright breezy! We decided to family style a handful of dishes, all of which felt generous in portion but still mildly overpriced (to be expected from Time Out Market...). The pad Thai was lovely, they give you a whole bucket of it practically. Also tried the chorizo, mushroom and trompo al pastor tacos -- all of which were stand out, bursting with flavor (and in some cases bursting through the tortilla). The true stand out was Lori Jayne's steak frites though. A gorgeously cooked hunk of beef, sliced, slathered with an eye opening miso Chimichurri sauce and served over a mess of thin cut and perfectly crisp French fries. Hoo boy! My only regret is we were too full to finish all of the fries. All in all, some above average food in a totally average cafeteria. I do wish all of this stuff cost like $4 cheaper than it is, considering the total lack of ambiance, but whatever. Everything was clean at least.

I went here for lunch with my friend last month. I had the Margherita Con Burrata Pizza from Fornino and the Rainbow Cake from Bar, Coffee, and Pastry. The staff were nice and the ambiance was laid back, not as busy and hectic as the Time Out Market in Dumbo.

This has always been one of my preferred locations, both personally and professionally, which makes this experience especially disappointing. On this occasion, I was visiting as part of my work responsibilities. The individuals I support are on limited incomes and cannot afford meals from establishments such as yours, so they bring their own lunches while staff members purchase food and beverages from your business. A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.

RIP Urban Hawker…read more Though if you wanted to recreate that part in movie plots where the protagonist we all thought had veered into untimely demise surprises everyone by miraculously making a comeback--I'm down for that too! Though on a serious note--kinda bummed bc I wanted to make one last visit before they closed July 17, though unfortunately I didn't make it back to town in time :( What a loss of a cultural connection point for the city! Food is a gateway to experiencing and understanding other cultures and this location was front and center in midtown, blocks from Times Square. In a sea of other cuisines, this part of Southeast Asia didn't/doesn't have much representation in general in Manhattan, and even less so now. Scouring articles and comments online I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they're able to find a different space in the near future! Was it the best food court? I'll admit this was easily debatable for many reasons. But each stall had their own standouts. Tradsiyon was a later addition though had really solid braised meat and veggie bowls; Hainan Jones stepped into a midtown scene several years ago with no other similar Hainanese chicken spots in midtown (a few others thankfully are around today); Kopifellas brought uniquely Singaporean/Malasian tea and coffee options; I still remember the first bite of Prawnaholic's signature shrimp and rib noodles tasting that savory goodness for the first time; and most of all I will dearly miss this location of Lady Wong, where I rarely walked away empty handed. Thank you for the memories (and think about that movie plot twist I mentioned above)!

I rarely went home invoking a strong enthusiastic response to come back to eat something again. Their strong suite was location, space, and variety. What I loved most--besides having a reliable bathroom in Midtown--was what it became for the people around it. It was a place where office workers could decompress after work, grab a beer with coworkers, or catch up with friends they hadn't seen in a while. There was something refreshing about the atmosphere. People seemed relaxed and unguarded, shedding the polished professional persona they'd worn all day. It felt like watching the city exhale for a little while. And another thing I appreciated was their attempt to represent different nationalities under one roof. The more common items performed the worse and that's probably when you come to a space dedicated to hawker style cuisine, you expect to try some of their more novel stuff like Coffee Pork Fried Rice (from a stall that specialized in fried rice) or Noodles in Bechamel. I also frequently enjoyed their only drinks provider for the best Yuen Yang I've ever had. The method for making them seems theatrical at first but when you've had one that wasn't properly aerated, you truly taste the chalky bitter tannins. It was a good thing there was an experience worker there (possibly the owner). Who you got to make your drink was hit or miss because at varying times, my gf would be lucky enough to run into the one guy who could do it with oatmilk (she's lactose intolerant). It's sad to see this place go and there'll be many times ahead of us where we point out that that's where the Urban Hawker used to be.
