Rotten tomatoes! And this isn't a movie review!!

The Lion found a way to go below their normal mediocre standards. Roma tomatoes were all rotten. Took a picture to show the store manager and she got the produce manager up to speak to us. He mentioned that there were now tomatoes in the back and hadn't brought them up yet. He brings the out in a cart to another part of the store where I was still shopping. He didn't bring a bag for me to put them in. His quote "I didn't think that all the way through!" My wife decided to jump in to tell him the produce is usually bad and asked if he was the manager. He said he was and made a series of excuses, such as bad refrigeration, store being renovated, not enough staff, etc. She said that those are not her problem and asked what he was going to do about it. He said "it's only going to get worse!" And the whooper was when he blamed us from keeping him from going back to his department to help other customers. Totally unbelievable. No apologies were offered, no plan to fix it, no refund was offered, just excuses. This place needs to get it together. Low prices equals low customer service and low quality.

I came In today again and bought some stuff, the person who check me out was Ok, not that great to say the least. It was marneva. She's one said check out lady. It seems most of them have attitude. Maybe it's the low wage they get or don't have work ethic. The other day Brian check me out and he was extreme nice and professional.

While I don't shop here for my regular groceries, this place is our office go-to for bakery birthday cakes. They're really good with cake decorations too, and the cakes are nice and fresh. I recently ordered one with black and white frosting with Chanel logos on it - looked cute! The prices are reasonable too, so I'll definitely be back.

Food Lion has something for everyone. Of course, I shop there for my healthy nut mix, but there are other outstanding departments I haven't mentioned. There is a huge selection of gluten free products. Shelves and shelves of cookies, cereals, snacks, and pastas. There are freezer cases full of gluten free meals and breads. The nicest thing is that it is cheaper than other grocery stores. So, if you are looking for a specific brand, check out Food Lion first. I get my frozen vegetables at a fraction of the price. Yes, I did just buy 5 bags of the asparagus. The seafood department is always full of fresh fish. I have bought shrimp, tilapia, and tuna. The manager is friendly and helpful. He tells me when the seafood arrived at the store and what looks good to buy for that week. So, if you want to save money to try a new restaurant on Yelp, visit Food Lion first!

If you're disabled and need the motorized cart, don't go here. They both are very beat up and the battery charge barely lasts a quick shopping trip and they have no plans to repair or replace them. The employee, I think a manager tired to convince me that it was normal.

Cannot beat the prices, and its rarely busy. They don't have much for specialty items but for basics- you can't beat it.

My Mom had their green beans as a side and I had a few - they were crispy and very good. Too many places over cook things. Waitress behind the bar was great. Nice 'neighborhoody' casual atmosphere. First time here - will hopefully be back within a few weeks. Five stars, albeit based on one visit Decent beer selection, nothing I hadn't had before. But that's a personal problem, not a restaurant problem. ;-)

Three stars for the nostalgia of rum buns alone. Been meaning to stop by this place for YEARS and…read morefinally made it! Any Marylander of the Boomer and GenX generation knows about O'Donnell's RUM BUNS. I used to come here with family back in its heyday and these were served table side before our meal. How crazy is that, a nice lil somewhat sinful dessert BEFORE some MD crab?! Those were the days! The rum buns are more nostalgia more than anything, I wouldn't say they'll blow your socks off, but hey, nostalgia is nostalgia. Well, I'll need to dine in here for a full and complete verdict, but my quick grab and go visit was a tad chaotic. Service for taking orders could improve - you walk in, there's a seafood counter to your left, bakery counter to your right (both were unmanned when I walked in) and in the middle is a deli section with the cash register where I assume they take orders. We stood there for a few good minutes before getting anyone's attention despite the fact a manager asking staff (not customers) if everyone was being helped. Clearly staff did not know who was waiting to check out, take orders or just waiting for their orders to arrive. So it was just weird. No one greeting you as you walk in either, it just also weird because there's no clear line anywhere you stand. Otherwise, rum buns were as I remembered them. Also picked up crab dip and chicken salad from the grab and go section from the back and they were just ok, not bad, not great. So will come again for a future visit hoping to have a much better meal and experience!

This location is very spacious and offers a wide range of items, including pre-cooked meals,…read moreflowers, fresh baked goods, hot bar, and produce. While some items, especially the ready-to-cook meals, are on the pricier side, you can still find great deals with their private-label products. I really enjoyed the alcohol selection. They carry everything from casual everyday wines to reasonably priced bottles that are actually quite good. The section is well organized, which makes it easy to browse. They also have hard liquor and beer, so most people will be able to find what they are looking for. Another big plus is the number of self-checkout stations, so I did not have to wait in line. The parking lot can be a bit confusing and chaotic depending on the time of day, so keep that in mind. Do not forget to get your parking validated before leaving the store.

I've shopped at this Wegmans numerous times, both in person and via Instacart. Generally speaking,…read morethe produce here is fresh, reasonably priced, and the overall experience is unproblematic. I am part Russian and occasionally crave pierogi (vareniki); Wegmans is one of very few stores that sell fresh refrigerated pierogi (these are much better than the frozen ones). The last few times I instacarted these, I put them in my fridge and a few days later, after opening, I noticed they were moldy. One time I even put them directly in the freezer, and when I opened them they were moldy. I kind of gaslit myself and figured it was my fault for waiting too long to cook them. Well, yesterday I went to Wegmans in person and saw stocked moldy pierogis!! I mean several of the packages had visible mold. I cannot believe Wegmans is selling these, and clearly this is an ongoing issue for months. This really makes me question buying fresh food from Wegmans, given this wasn't a one off. Hopefully this is just limited to the pierogis, which is a specialty product that I assume doesn't have high turnover. Nonetheless buyer beware!! Wegmans, please fix!

Since being acquired by Safeway/Albertsons, the "specialty", in a specialty store, has pretty much vanished. I still do believe that their bistro meals, ordered with care, can be a budget, friendly, yes, I do mean budget, friendly, alternative to fast food (herb, roasted turkey dinner with fingerling potatoes and green beans are $16 and can last for two meals) Their carrot cake, has always been exceptional and remains so The disappointing part is how Balducci's now stocks basically Safeway products and up charges considerably for them. (perfect example is their prepared coleslaw. ) Items like cucumber salad, herring nibs, and other items have disappeared in favor of commercially packaged items. I always found their fish to be fresh and flavorful, but now I have seen a decline in the quality of their fish. Recently , I went to get one of their wonderful cups of coffee and found that that Service no longer is available.
