This place looked very good . They have a large beer selection and mixed drinks also. This is a sports bar and a casual restaurant. We ordered a few beers that were cold. Then I ordered the Kona burger. It came with only a 4 ounce patty so you need to add another $3 patty to make it a real burger. Nothing fancy bun . We ordered the truffle fries and they were delicious but soggy from the truffle oil I guess. The wing's looked good . I'll have to stop back and give them another try. read more

I have not had anything bad here yet! So so good! The wings were perfect each time. I got the Truffalo mixed with garlic parmesan. The brussel sprouts are amazing! Yes...AMAZING! I could eat those all day. We went to the one in Bradenton off 301. I can't sit until the one on 70 opens up. One and done. My husband and I ordered food to-go from here on a whim. He got the cheesesteak sandwich and it was very underwhelming. We split the Buffalo Mac and all of the breading fell off the chicken (which was chewy). Otherwise, it still wasn't anything special. I got the tuna poke bowl and almost didn't eat it because the tuna was questionable and it was mostly rice. Overall huuuge disappointment and waste of money. For the price, we expected way more. Definitely would not recommend unless maybe to have a beer and watch a game, but we know we will never be back again. read more

Everything was excellent from the restaurant setup (we sat on the patio) to the service to the food! Our server was excellent, and the food came quickly. My friend and I shared the tin can nachos which was an experience in itself! The beer cheese on the nachos was a cool twist, and coupled with the pickled onions it took it over the top. I got the burrito bowl, my friend a burger, and we shared a small fry which was monstrous and delicious (hand cut and they bring it in a paper bag which they shake and pour out at the table). This is a very good spot for your "food and beer" fix.. everything my wife and I have had here both to eat and drink has been pretty spot on with one exception which I'll elaborate on next. Wings are very well done, chicken sandwiches and burgers don't leave anything left to be desired, drink and beer options are very good. My personal favorite that my wife ordered our first time there and I have since ordered as it was so good was the Barbie wrap. Man that sucker is good, perfect balance of well seasoned and tender chicken with just the right amount of fresh avocado, lettuce and sauce combination... delicious and I don't mind ordering the Barbie as ridiculous as it may sound. The lowlight unfortunately is the "cheesesteak"... this was by far the worst cheesesteak I've ever had... drowned in cheeze whiz and terribly proportioned. Steer clear of this grenade and you'll be a happy camper. Staff are also very nice and attentive. Minus the cheesesteak I haven't had a bad meal here and have been happy enough having a nice bar with great food so close by I didn't even complain. I have been to Food + Beer twice in the last week. For lunch and late night food. First of all - the bartenders are friendly and very welcoming and make you feel great for coming in. Lunch - I went to lunch with my daughter and the lunch specials are fantastic. We tried the Burger & Fries special and the Chicken Cheesesteak & Fries special, a great value at $6.99. Both sandwiches were good, but the Hand Cut Fries are the star of the show. Add a $3 Narragansett draft and you have a Winner! Late Night Food - I went in around 11:30 PM and asked the bartender if they were still serving food and she said yes. I had a burger and the hand cut fries - this time with a jalapeño ranch dressing that made the fries even better than during lunch. I have never had a server leave an impression on me here, which is probably why its so slow... but it is Bradenton. Bet it could be something if it were well managed. read more

Was enjoying the staff, beer and food until I noticed my butter brocolli had a woody fungus on it. They couldn't scrape the plate up quick enough and ran it back to the "food manager" like there's that guy. They came back to announce they would not charge for that item-the minimum as the food was rancid. Ok fine but at this location they completely so ignored us after the bad food report I could barely get attention to cash out. Complete freeze out and I was pretty good about the rotten food. Bradenton mindset. Won't be back wouldn't even comp a beer. Good luck this never happens in Sarasota. read more

The managers are always visible and helpful, the wait staff are attentive and pleasant. They serve upscale pub food which is delicious and have many draft beer choices and a full bar. I wish they would bring back the Buffalo chicken dip; it was the best ever! The restaurant atmosphere is great. It is sporty and has a large, open seating area.
