Interesting place. Kind of Woody type of decor. It was very charming, kind of eclectic, sort of laid-back atmosphere. Had a nice selection of beer so we sampled a few of those . Then, dove into lunch. Crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks were tasty , slightly above average. Lunch for the three of us was wife had buffalo chicken grilled cheese which was very enjoyable, daughter had the Thai chopped salad which she proclaimed tasty. I had the Kona blue cheeseburger which was done nicely and a well mix of burger, bun and condiments . I really really liked that one. Place was sort of busy. Seems like everything in this area of Lutz is real busy. Service was great and I definitely would enjoy going back and recommend coming here. Do patronize them! read more

The first thing the server did was to point out the Happy Hour menu. (Happy Hour was 3 hours away.) Aside from beer, wine and cocktails, the only beverages available that day were regular Pepsi, water, and milk. My husband asked for what wheat beers were available except for Blue Ribbon. She had to go ask and then came back and said that the only wheat available was the Blue Ribbon. After he asked what kind of specialty beer they had and she thought Sam Adam's Summer Shandy, but then said no, they had Sam's Summer Ale. (She didn't know Sam's Summer Ale is a wheat beer.) We placed our food order and I changed my order slightly from the menu description. I did not add anything, I only asked for things to not be put on. I asked if my request would be okay and she confirmed it would be. My order was completely wrong! What I didn't want on my sandwich was on it and what I did want on it wasn't. Additionally, the chicken that was to be seasoned (as described) was not seasoned. It was at least 5 minutes before she returned to check on us and was stunned when I described what was wrong with my order. She went to get the manager but sent him to the wrong table. The manager did offer to remake my meal himself, but I declined. As we were leaving the server said she hoped my day got better! My day was fine before I went into Food and Beer in Wesley Chapel and it was fine after I left. Our server Maya was kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. She recommended the Rangoon mozzarella sticks, which had a good sauce, although the chili sauce tasted like standard bottled sweet chili sauce. My partner thought the sticks were greasy, and I personally think they could use more "krab" filling for better texture and flavor balance. We also shared the cheesesteak (forgot the exact menu name). Unfortunately, it was pretty underwhelming. I usually expect a cheesesteak to be overflowing with meat, onions, and cheese, but this one felt sparse. It used Cheese Whiz style cheese, which is fine, but there wasn't enough of it and the meat came across dry. The fries were heavily seasoned, probably with something like Lawry's. I don't mind softer fries, but my girlfriend would've preferred them crispier. To be fair, maybe we just ordered the wrong items for our first visit, but overall the food didn't justify a return trip for us, especially with prices everywhere already feeling inflated these days thanks to our president's dumb war with Iran and the cost of everything going up. If you're looking for a beer and some average bar food, you may still enjoy it. One other thing that stood out: the men's restroom situation is rough for a place this size. The restaurant seats a lot of people but only has one urinal and one stall, and the smell outside the bathroom area was pretty unpleasant. Cool place serving some good upscale food. I did expect more beer choices with the name of the place but they had good options for drinks and food was excellent. I sat at the bar, it's inside and outside and then you have a large indoor dining room. There are a couple tables outside also. I had a couple elderberry ciders from Keel farm. I had the Korean Beef Bowl -Bulgogi Marinated Beef Served Over Sticky Rice with Kimchi, Pickled Veggies, and Cucumbers. Topped with a Sunny-Side-Up Egg and Sesame Seeds. The sauce was good but was spicy for me so I got the Thai chili sauce instead, but overall very good flavor. Fun place, it was packed on a Friday night. They have good specials and happy hour. Recently opened in the old Shuckin' Shack location in Lutz. Next to Costo at the Tampa Premium Outlets. Stopped in after some shopping for a snack and beverages and was very impressed with the menu. Bartender waited on us promptly and let us know about happy hour menu items. We settled on a few adult beverages while we perused the menu. We ordered the Korean Beef Bowl and Stupid Hot Wings. The beef bowl was excellent with lots of flavor. The wings were nice and spicy, but one of the ingredients in the sauce gave it an odd taste (to me). Next time, I'll just get the buffalo. The wings were large, juicy and cooked well. We liked the selection/variety of items on the menu. There is something for everyone. The beer/wine/liquor selection is very good as well. When we saw Food and Beer, we were concerned that it was beer and wine only, but they have a full liquor license! Will definitely be back on our next trip to the Outlet Mall. read more

The food here was very good and the service was attentive, though be warned: it is a very loud restaurant. The high energy seems to be the intended vibe, but it made it difficult to have a conversation with the person next to me. For appetizers, the Crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks were a highlight as they were creamy, stretchy, and perfectly crispy. My Korean bowl was packed with fresh ingredients, though the egg white could have been cooked a little longer. My friend enjoyed her chicken parm, and the portion sizes across the board were excellent. We finished with the s'more brownie; it was warm and very sweet, but standard for a brownie. Saw Charley Belcher from Fox 13 news there one morning and I had actually seen the Wesley Chapel location the week prior. My daughter lives in Wesley Chapel. We decided to give it a try. And so glad we did!! Amazing food! We all were very happy with our meals. The staff was so nice. Our waitress was one of the best we've had anywhere. We will definitely return. I had an absolutely fantastic experience visiting Food + Beer last night. We kicked off the evening with a round of drinks and ordered the Cuban eggrolls to start. Stuffed with mojo pork, ham, pickles, and Swiss cheese, they were impressively crispy on the outside and savory on the inside, especially when dipped in the tangy mojo mustard sauce - a great appetizer to set the tone for the night. Because it was Wing Thursday, we had to take advantage of their .89 cent wing special. As someone who is incredibly picky about wings, I was pleasantly surprised to find them absolutely perfect. They were super crispy on the outside with just the right amount of sauce, and they were the ideal size--not too big, yet not too small. The service was also phenomenal, with great interaction and attentive service throughout the entire evening. A really nice touch was when the cook actually came out to our table to check on how the wings came out, showing true pride in their food. Don't let the generic name dissuade you - the food, drink selection, specials and service here are exceptional! Nestled near Costco but not in the busy side. It's a perfect lunch spot. Their have lunch special all under $10 and days of the week specials too. I had a fajita wrap and fries and hubby had chicken Philly and fries. The fries here are hand cut and seasoned with old bay! Came here on a Saturday afternoon to grab a quick lunch. Super nice venue and it was very clean. I'd previously had a Chicken Caesar Wrap from this location and was thoroughly impressed so I figured I'd try it again. I sat at the bar and noticed it wasn't on the menu. The bartender informed me that it is typically was only available during the week for lunch, but she put in a request to have them make it. I really appreciated that and she was super nice!!! I also ordered fries. The fries were okay but a overly seasoned for my liking...and 5.99 which I feel is a little overpriced. The wrap was kind of dry to the point where I had to ask for extra dressing, and the chicken didn't taste seasoned at all. Of course, all of this is on me for requesting something that wasn't being served at the time. I've heard good things about them and have had better experiences previously, but this was not it. It was delicious juicy burger with cheese , fried egg and especially on the sriracha syrup biscuit it was really good and would so get that again . Came here on a Saturday to watch a football game. They had a good number of TVs and one large screen. The service was slow at first, it took about 20 minutes for someone to come by after we were seated and we were waiting for service on drinks and food for a while. We arrived about an hour before kickoff, and our servers ended up switching, which is when the service improved. I ordered a spritz and nuggets, and the food was pretty good. While this wasn't my favorite spot to watch a game, I'd rate this restaurant a 3/5 due to the service not being the best but the food was pretty decent. read more

The manager came by and gave us coupons for free appetizers since it was our first visit and we will more than likely come back regularly. The restaurant is super clean and really nicely decorated for a sports bar. The music was a tad bit too loud for my liking, but they played music I enjoyed. New place that open its doors to our community, great ambiance. The service was exceptional very courteous workers the minute you walk in the establishment. Plenty of seating in bar, as well as outside. Plenty of parking as well. The menu has a lot to choose from. The great appetizers , had to try the Tin can nacho loaded with great stuff in it ( see photo below ) you definitely have to try this , it is excellent, delicious . I was recommended this place by a fellow yelper so a friend and I decided to check it out today. This place is located at the Tampa Premium Outlets. I was excited to see grouper nuggets on the menu. We ordered them, but they werent that good with the batter. After we took the batter off, they were amazing. My friend got the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich and it was so good! I got the chicken and red velvet waffles and it was awful very good! My favorite was the bottomless mimosa DIY bar. It had different fruit juices, fresh fruit, and different gummy candies to add if you want. Miyah our server was also great! Give her a raise!! It would have been nice if the manager would have interacted with the customers. It wasnt too busy during the two hours we were there. I can appreciate when managers walk around the restaurant and check in with customers to see how the food and service is. The manager today did not. He didnt interact with anybody except his staff. If you read about Rangoon Mozz Sticks, they are absolutely worth giving a try. As soon as I tried them, I said now these will 100% bring me back. I ordered a You Jel burger & it was absolutely delicious with such good sweet & spicy flavors. My friends order a burrito bowl and a GOAT grilled cheese which they enjoyed as well. The service was a little on the slower end but nothing that would ruin my day or make me leave a bad review. The food was honestly worth the wait and our server was friendly. The only thing I was not impressed with was the mac & cheese- it wasn't bad, just not worth the $3 upgrade in my opinion. read more

Their beer selection felt lacking, their food prices were a bit too high. We tried the fish bite appetizer, the gator bites, wings and burger. Had such a good experience here! I have never been to the other locations, but I've been following their social media pages for a while. I recently moved to this area and was super excited to see one open nearby. Highly recommend the GOAT grilled cheese. All of the food was amazingggggg and the bartender Jeany was very friendly. I love that they're open late (also serving food!) and they have a killer happy hour. The ambiance is nice and they play cool music too. These are two very subjective reasons why I only gave them three stars - they serve Pepsi products, which is obviously their right to do, and they don't serve fresh brewed iced tea (which is sad, since they state that the food is "scratch made". Some of the other reasons are that the food, overall, was too salty. Not so bad that it was a problem, but it was something most of the people with me commented on. The service was very good and any issues were handled professionally. It's a good sports bar with a nice variety of options on the menu. The shrimp were the standout of the meal, but my son-in-law really enjoyed the birria tacos. We would definitely go back, especially to watch some of the Bucs, Rays, Lightning, or Bulls games. They didn't have much drink choices for my grandson, but had no problem allowing me to run next door to The Chicken Salad Chick to get some apple juice to bring back.
